Attention to detail was amazing!

Everything was great. From coffee to water and ice. All things were though of. Right across the street from Caps on the Water and down the road from The Reef Restaurant. Both exceptional Restaurants. Golf cart to tour aroung in. I'd rate it a 10!

Amazing house and host

Once again, the stay was everything we hoped for and more! The owner is the most accommodating host and puts so much effort into making sure everything is perfect. Love the spectacular outdoor amenities and golf cart for trips to the beach.

Ideal Vacation Getaway

The property is as advertised. Everything has been thought of if you’re looking for a beach or coastal vacation. The home is well managed and maintained. I would highly recommend for any family looking for a place in the St. Augustine area as downtown historic district is very close and easy to get to.

Great location. Great place.

We loved our time in Saint Augustine. Quick walk to the beach. Quick drive to a nature preserve. Caps on Water is a great experience. The hot tub was a great addition. Don’t miss the sun set!

Wonderful stay!

This property was well maintained and had everything that we needed for a great stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub and such easy access to the beach using the golf cart. Lynne was very accessible and answered any questions in a timely manner. She was professional and kind. The house was exceptionally clean and the kitchen well stocked. Such an enjoyable vacation and can’t wait to book this property again.

Calm, relaxing, immaculate cottage near St. Augustine

We had a fabulous weekend at this cottage near Villano Beach. It had everything we needed for a lovely weekend, was immaculately clean, and the heating (which we needed) worked perfectly. We enjoyed walks on the beach, visiting St. Augustine (but not staying in the mayhem of the town), and dinner at Cap's which is right across the street. Will definitely return!

Simply amazing

Comfortable and restful stay

We loved the sea turtle cottage! Location was fabulous for trips to historic St. Augustine, which was loads of fun, and the beautiful beach was just a short golf cart drive away. Amenities were top notch - plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and toys for beach days, fully appointed kitchen, and fabulous back yard oasis. Loved the hot tub - wish we’d been able to use it more, but sunburn and a rainy day cut into hot tub time. We would recommend this cottage to anyone!

Excellent stay (again!)

This is our second time staying in this house, first time with Lynne as the owner. Just as before the house is perfect and exceptionally clean. There were a few nice touches added since last time (new golf cart, landscaping, easier check in process, etc) which were very nice. I look forward to staying again very soon. Highly recommend this house for its location and being fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Thank you Lynne!

Peaceful and Relaxing

We absolutely loved our stay here at Turtle Cottage. It was beautifully decorated and had enough space to accommodate 4 adults and a couple kids. We enjoyed the hot tub and cooking out in the outdoor kitchen. The cottage has everything you need for meal prep and relaxation. There is also a very nice restaurant across the street, Caps on the River, that we enjoyed dinner at one night. If you are on the fence about staying here, you won't regret it!!! The owner is friendly and accommodating to any need or question you might have.

All that you need and more

Lynn went above and beyond offering everything that we hope for in a vacation home for our family of 6, including ample beach towels, chairs and toys, sunscreen, coffee, water bottles, and more. The outdoor space was amazing. We used the hot tub every night and had extended family over for a meal, all 11 of us seated around the outdoor table. Across the street is a truly superb restaurant. We appreciated this because there aren’t a lot of other restaurants nearby, without going into St Augustine. We did have one fun night in town, though parking was a challenge. Beach is pristine and a 9 minute walk or 4 minute golf cart ride away. Lynn promptly responded to us when we had questions. We hope to come back in the future!

An adorable cottage. We all loved it. So nicely decorated with coastal theme. Big spaces outdoors.

Quiet friendly neighbors. Tropical outdoor area is so great. My daughter and grandkids just loved it all. The hotub and covered outdoor kitchen under rain showers, stars, and moon made for magical moments with family. Owner was terrific to work with. Caps across the street was the best to just walk to for absolutely wonderful sunsets. The inter coastal access and beach access gave us so many options. The golf cart is a super fun plus to have. We will come back again for sure next year. Thank you.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this lovely, comfortable cottage set among the live oak trees! The newly-added privacy fence made a secluded outdoor retreat, complete with hot tub, outdoor kitchen, comfortable seating - even a chiminea for a campfire. The Adirondack chairs on the front porch were a perfect place to read and watch the world go by. My husband and I walked for miles along the beach at low tide, along the trails at the nature preserve, and around the beautiful streets of historic St. Augustine. Just writing this review makes me want to head right back to the Sea Turtle cottage! Thank you, Lynne, for being such a responsive and thoughtful owner.

an awesome cozy amd quaint cottge in a great location and just oerfect for a getaway.

Each year me and 3 of my childhood friends take a trip together. We chose St. Augustine and this house. What a GREAT choice it was! We can not say enough good things about this house and Paul. He was sobfood answerinf any quesrion we had nd when we locked ourselves out of the house he was kind and gracious enough to send his son with another key. The hot tub was wonderful and in our opinion one of the best we each had been in. We spent a lot of time at the outdoor kitchen and sitting area. We absolutly loved this house inside and out. The golf cart was a great addition to have. We really enjoyed taking it to the river just across the street and watching an AMAZING sunset! We enjoyed being able to walk acoss the street to Capsnon the river for dinner. I could go on and on. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, all of the amenities and we will most definetly return!

I'm so glad I decided on this property to rent vs. the others!

This home was the first time I had rented off this website, as it was also a first time visiting St. Augustine. The owner, Paul, was so helpful throughout the whole process & would communicate promptly without hesitation. As you drive to the location of this home, you're greeted with spectacular views of the ocean & the serenity sound of waves making their landfall. As we turned into the neighborhood, I took greatly to notice that it was a clean & family orientated type of neighborhood. The house was extremely charming, and as we walked in I was highly impressed with the entire ambiance of the home. The home was spacious, the bedrooms were a great size and both bathrooms were large in size. The backyard space was exactly what one needs while on vacation. From the jacuzzi to several seating areas throughout, the outdoor kitchen, waterfall, the decorative lighting, etc made for perfect nights of gathering with our group. Another plus was the availability of use of the Golfcart & bicycles that made for great afternoon rides throughout the neighborhood. I highly recommend Caps on the Water, which is located directly across from the house, the food is delicious for a reasonable price & the view alongside the ambiance makes for a great time. If you plan to head to the downtown area, Maple Street Resturant is a "must do" for breakfast. This home is about 15min . from the downtown area & about 10min from a Publix which I found great, especially being a tourist; no way to get lost (lol). So, I would say STOP LOOKING & rent this home if your searching to rent a home in St. Augustine for vacation. You will be so happy, relieved, thrilled, & excited that you did!

Magical sea turtle escape!

This property is perfect for families! Our family of 6 had a wonderful time. Close to the beach. All the amenities made it easy to enjoy hanging out at the house. Not to mention all the the details that the host puts into the house. Red flashlights so we can go see the sea turtles. Books and games for the kids. Many many more. We are already booking our spot for next year. Pictures do not do justice to how nice this place is.

Wonderful Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Turtle Cottage. The cottage was as described. Lynn had seen to every detail. The outdoor area was amazing. We enjoyed our nights grilling and warming up in the hot tub. St Augustine did not disappoint. We will be back!

Cozy Coastal Cottage

The house & location was perfect for our family. Lynne was willing to answer any questions if need be/ communicated with us right away too. The accomodations provided for the house guests were very thoughtful & super organized...which helped to make our stay even more relaxing & enjoyable! We hope to go back there very soon ! ☺️

Perfection !

Just pack your swimsuit and enjoy this beach cottage oasis! Lynn has thought of everything. Tucked under oaks and minutes by golf cart to the beautiful beach. Walk to Caps for drinks and dinner on the river. We will return.

What a lovely home, even better in person. We had such a relaxing vacation here because everything was updated, clean and well appointed. The golf cart was a hit and made getting around so easy.

Super location/excellent accommodations modations

We loved this cottage. Lynne has everything we needed to make a day at the beach spectacular. Sun shades, umbrellas, chairs and beach games were all available. The outdoor space was just as lovely as the inside.

Amazing Stay

Lynne was very attentive to every detail in the house! We had everything we needed and she even made sure to let us know about any service providers that would be on the property such as lawn service or spa service. The neighborhood was great and we enjoyed talking to one of the neighbors. The beach was really wonderful and was quiet which was perfect as we were traveling during Covid 19. The house had everything we needed and we would definitely book again if we find ourselves back in the St Augustine area!
