Gulf Front Home on Cape San Blas


A $250 credit toward any amount of Beach Gear is available for this home. When you book Attitude Adjustment you can now get beach gear delivered directly to the home. All you need to do is select your gear, and we'll have it delivered to you the day of your arrival! This offer applies for 3-14 night reservations only. Place your order 48 hours prior to arrival by 5 pm to avoid late fees.


Attitude Adjustment is a gorgeous 6 bedroom/4.5 bath beach front home located on Cape San Blas. This home has a very open floor plan with tons of living space to accommodate up to 19 people. On the first level, you will find a comfortable size kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The kitchen is open to the dining room and living room, so you never feel like you're missing out on the family time conversations. Two of the bedrooms are located on the first floor and the other three are on the 2nd floor. Three of the bedrooms feature king beds, one bedroom a double and a queen, one bedroom has two twins and the sixth has two twin/twin bunk beds with one trundle. Attitude Adjustment has free WiFi and Long Distance.

Great house for a family vacation. I think k this was the best stocked kitchen in any house I’ve ever stayed. It had everything that you could have needed down to the Tupperware. The elevator was especially helpful for the family elders that came too. Beach was right there I front of the house. It was perfect.

Beds were basically air mattresses on frames that made loud noises everytime you moved. Door to balcony required a man to open or close. Mold on ceiling in more than one bathroom on ceiling and around vents

Quiet Beachfront Escape

We had a great time! The house is well appointed & very spacious. Recommended for a multi-family vacation option. The host communication was great, and the check in & out process was easy. I would stay here again. Enjoyed the added bonus of complimentary equipment such as bikes or beach chairs you can select before travelling, which made planning and packing even easier. We chose bikes and rode up and down the cape on the paved trails. Book this with confidence! Great location & everything is as advertised or better.

Absolutely Perfect in every way!

The location of this property was perfect. The neighborhood is absolutely gorgeous and you couldn’t be any closer to the beach. The house is practically brand new and was decorated so cute. We had a large group with several families and kids of all ages. This house had plenty room for us. The kitchen is huge and we had plenty of room for eating meals together. There is NOT one bad thing to say about this place. 100 perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

2023 Family Vacation

Just a couple things that need to be addressed, house cleanliness(floors) were terrible, to the point of black feet, there is a definite need for railings in the staircase, and the railing on the dune walk over the left side is unattached.

Work Weekend Vacation

We decided to treat our 5 employees to a visit to the Cape on our way home from a Convention in Orlando. We only stayed for 3 nights, but the house was perfect for our crew. We wish that we could have stayed longer. The house was beautifully decorated and the elevator was very handy for getting all of our luggage upstairs. I absolutely love the kitchen! The master bedroom and bathroom were pretty amazing too! Having a private balcony from the master bedroom overlooking the ocean was a very nice amenity. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Beautiful beach house

The owner keeps the home in tip top shape and open floor plan is conducive for family and friends to enjoy each other. The elevator is great for luggage and groceries to be brought up or for anyone with mobility issues as it services all floors. Home is close to the Trading Post, Weber donuts and is located in a low density area of the beach so you can spread out. Private boardwalk provides easy access to the beach. Coastal Joe is always happy to assist with any needs and we wouldn’t rent from anyone else.

OUR FAMILY VACATION TRIP TO CAPE SAN BLAS

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beach house was built in the perfect location. We loved this area. We did have a few problems.The hot water heater went out two times before it was fixed on the second attempt but we were out of hot water for 2 days in half the house. THE BIG PROBLEM WAS THE DISHWASHER WENT OUT ON WEDNESDAY AND NOT FIXED OR REPLACED. We did not have a dishwasher from Wednesday through Saturday. The house was clean and spacious with lots of open area. The balcony upper and lower were great. The elevator was very nice. Overall good but not having hot water for showers 2 days and no dishwasher for 4 days was so bad. We vacation every year in this area . I don’t think we would rent this place again because if the service for repairs.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with the hot water and the dishwasher. We understand how being without hot water for part of your stay was frustrating, and while the dishwasher issue may seem more minor, it’s still something that can affect the comfort of your stay, especially during a longer visit. Unfortunately, being in a smaller coastal town means repairs can sometimes take longer than expected, and we truly regret the delay. We always aim to respond to maintenance issues as quickly as possible, but in some cases, timing is simply out of our control. That said, the home was clean, well-equipped, and fully functional aside from those two items. We do our best to provide a quality experience, and we're sorry to hear these repair delays outweighed the positives for you. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve, but we also encourage guests to understand the realities of staying in smaller vacation communities when it comes to service logistics.

All of our homes are furnished, and amenities provided by the owners. The grill is practically brand new since it was purchased in April. It's a little unfair to say that we were no help, when we really did all that, we could without the owner's approval.

All of our homes are furnished, and amenities provided by the owners. The grill was just purchased in April, so the owner opted not to replace it that soon after. It's a little unfair to say that we were no help, when we really did all that we could without the owners approval.

Very nice house but…

House is great. Obvious renovation after hurricane Michael. Very spacious and comfortable. Great views and location. Unfortunately, the house just wasn’t very clean. We were covered in dog hair constantly. Enough dander that it affected breathing. Told office about it when checking out. She really didn’t seem to care. Didn’t even apologize. If you live with dogs that shed, or don’t care, give it a look. Otherwise move on to a pet free/hair free property. We needed an elevator so choices were slim.

We appreciate constructive criticism and honest feedback, however we do need to share our side as well. Our office is open 7 days a week. With a 24 hour text system that reaches every one of our employees, as well as email and phones, we did not have any correspondence with the guest at any point during their week-long stay. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it is to keep the pet hair under control. While we're not discounting the fact that pet hair could have been present, we also can't do anything about it if we're not told until the keys are dropped off at checkout time.

Wonderful Pet Friendly House. Best vacation in years!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house. Definitely the cleanest house we have stayed in at CSB. We were here in the Spring of 2024. We loved the location right next to the beach, and because of where it is (at the very bottom of the cape), there is little foot traffic. It was very quiet and there were plenty of shells and driftwood. We have 2 miniature dachshunds and they both loved it as well. The internet was fast enough to get in some business calls with video, so that was very nice. The kitchen and living area is one big open area with amazing views of the sunset. There are two decks on each side of the house (so 4 total). There is an ice machine in the house which was an added bonus. There is filtered water from the fridge. There were stumps in the surf here, but you can walk down the beach a bit of you want to avoid them. I took off one star for general condition because the elevator never worked when we were there. (They tried to fix it, but to no avail.) Outside of that, the house was in great condition. We will definitely consider it again.

Reviewer Comments: Let me start by saying that Coastal Joe was very responsive and excellent overall. They went out of their way to remedy any issues. The house looked amazing from the photos and reviews, but in reality was rather worn and tired. The kitchen was sorely lacking in supplies and the pots and pans and dishes that were there were chipped, broken, and old. At one point, I was using a saucepan to boil eggs and the handle fell completely off of it. Thankfully, I was not burned, but it could’ve ended badly. This house was extremely expensive to rent and absolutely did not live up to the price. I honestly don’t understand all of the rave reviews. The icemaker and the elevator were both nice touches and the house is definitely large, which is good... But as I said, everything else was very worn, cheap and in many cases, not terribly clean. I would definitely never rent this house again. We were very disappointed.

The owner is very diligent about replacing items as needed, however we do not use the cookware in the homes so we rely on our guests to let us know if something is not up to par. We do have extra cookware in the office, and would have been happy to replace those items if we had been given the opportunity to do so. Our office is less than 1 mile from the home, and we are always a phone call or text away.

A beautiful and peaceful time at the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay was wonderful! The Coastal Joe vacation folks were very responsive to the needs that we had. We ended up at this location due to another owner canceling our rental a week before we were supposed to leave. Very few options were left for us at that time but Coastal Joe vacation rental was right on it and found us a new spot. Although we did not get to rent for the full week as planned, we are grateful to the owner for sharing this beautiful home. It is located right on the beach with wonderful views. We really enjoyed the sunsets each evening. The home is spacious and very well stocked with everything you need. It has recently been updated and the owners have done a nice job. At the time of our stay, the elevator was out of service and so navigating the multiple flights of stairs was challenging for my mother who has a hurt leg. Unloading and loading of cars was a workout! Hopefully that will get fixed soon. When we arrived their was no cable or internet service. We were without the first two days of our stay but by the 3rd we had cable and minimal internet service. The internet service was akin to dial up speed and the signal did not reach well to all the rooms. For some that may not matter but a couple of us had some work related obligations to do while there. Our cell phone coverage was very weak so we couldn’t hot spot, so if you need high speed internet while traveling you may have to adjust especially if you like to stream anything. The home is beautiful, the location was fantastic, and the rental company was very responsive. The walk over to the beach is nice and very manageable with not a lot of steps. Overall we enjoyed our stay, we’re thankful that our vacation was not cancelled and with the exception a couple of items mentioned (non working elevator and internet) it really is a perfect place to vacation.

We elected to continue with the vacation as scheduled. The kitchen is well stocked and the table comfortably sat all of us for dinners. The agency worked quickly to restore use of the elevator that took on storm surge. We had an amazing week at the house and we love coming back to the Cape every year. Thank you to the Costal Joe Vacation Rental team for sending pics post storm and working to make the trip great.

This is a beautiful spacious home that sits very close to the Gulf. The views were amazing, and the property itself was fantastic and very well maintained. The bedroom capacity was accurate. We had 16 adults 5 married and 6 single adults plus 2 children and we were very comfortable with lots of space. Mary B. the manager answered all our questions and was very helpful. It was a great week for our family and look forward to going back to Cape San Blas.

Very nice home!

The working elevator was great for a family member with mobility issues.The only minor details that could be improved upon-and I stress minor-are that some of the bathroom exhaust fans are non-functional, most noticeably the powder room next to the kitchen eating area. As well, the two largest saute/fry pans (the most used) are warped on the bottom and will not sit flat on the electric, flat surface stove. Otherwise, there was a surprisingly abundant supply of pots and pans.Although the listing is pretty clear, potential future guests should be aware that the king bedroom on the main floor does not have its own bath, but shares a full bath with another bedroom that sleeps up to four. Likewise, two bedrooms on the top floor (that sleep six combined) share a full bath. Just so you know.

The parking was a little tricky and we older folks would like the stair rails to extend the entire length of the stairwell. Beach fishing was excellent. When the elevator got hung up, maintenance people promptly fixed the issue.

Attitude adjustment

Reviewer Comments: We had a great month at attitude adjustment on Cape San Blas although the weather could have been a little better but was still better than the weather in Ohio. The house worked out great and the elevator was a must for my handicapped wife. The house was in pretty good shape, was clean, and the kitchen was very well supplied with all the appliances and utensils you would need in most cases. It is right on the beach you just have to walk up the ramp and 15 steps down and you are on the beach. There was no cable for the TVs only the 2 smart TVs worked and only to does have Wi-Fi although it is pretty slow but did the job with some pausing while streaming. We have this house reserved for next year already when we will have our whole family for a week, a total of 12 of us. I definitely recommend Attitude Adjustment.
