    The lower cottage was nice. Full kitchen, some supplies. The upper cottage needs updating.The docks and property are very nice.I would advise against having a fire; the smoke goes right into the house.The lake and location are absolutely beautiful.The hosts were available and accommodating, we didn't want for anything.

    Great lakeside houses

    Both house were very clean and well equipped. Air conditioned was welcomed and we were very comfortable. Great location on the lake. George was very accommodating and made sure all was well. We had a large party and recycle and trash built up but he was there to remove it quickly. We had a storm coming and he was there to batten down the hatches. We have stayed there before and the time were pleased as ever. Looking forward to another stay.

    Not overly thrilled

    We rented these two cabins for a family vacation 4 hours from home. I asked the owner if I needed sheets and towels and he said yes so I packed them. There were 9 of us and not one blanket / quilt of any type to put on the beds. Our truck and Thule were full and couldn’t have even thought about adding a comforter to the car. The pictures show it but they are not there. When I asked George about it his response was very rude! He told me I’m on vacation and to have fun in bed and if I knew what he meant. He showed up unannounced and I saw him driving by the house. I felt like I was being watched and will never rent here again. We bought bee spray because they were out of control. Except for being right near the water everything else was so so. Chairs in the kitchen are disgustingly dirty and stained.

    If Donna had checked addional room details on the site, she would have had the bedding information. My wife and I have rented since 2012. We have notebooks in each cottage with many positive comments. This is only the second negative comment. The other I feel the guest didn't follow the agreement of the rental. We talked about it and she became unhappy. When Donna called regarding sheets and Linens I was on a business call and not totally focused gave a quick answer. The day after she arrived I went to to cottage to apologize. I met her husband outside and had a very friendly conversation. After a few minutes Donna came storming out of the cottage and basted me for showing up up unannounced. I turned around and stated I am out of here. Only return was later in the week to pick up trash that was put out up by the road. Two days later on Saturday before she checked out she was walking by my other property and we talked and she seamed happy with everything. My wife and I try to maintain a very clean place to stay. We ask the guest to clean before they leave and we come in after and reclean. The kitchen chair cushions, yes needed shampooing but need time to dry. My site visit is mainly to improve the stay of our guest. Occasionally we find the guest have visitors with pets that are not allowed. We do not want a wet dog on the furniture or carpet.

    Perfect!

    Excellent location, lots of yard space,....for croquet. Well maintained landscape. Excellent Golf course, biking, and hiking trails nearby. Both cottages cozy and comfortable, with well stocked kitchens. The bigger cottage is right on the lake, and has 3 docks. There are also picnic tables to eat out on next to the water. We rented both cottages and it worked out very well for a large family. The owner was a warm friendly attentive host! To sum this up I would say....overall it is the location that is so perfect!

    Great location and plenty of room for family

    my family and I had a great week on the lake. The location and setting of the property was fantastic. The houses were very clean and accommodated 10 of us. The dock and patio were very nice and made our time at the lake very enjoyable.

    Quiet Retreat

    The 2 houses are a perfect stay for a large family. All essentials were there (except sheets) which was a welcome change. The listing does say A/C but only 1 house has it. The lower one is only fans and it was hot! But overall a nice stay-

    We own a third cottage within a half mile of the two cottages. Our full time home is less than two miles away. Owners are more than willing to make your stay the most enjoyable.

    This is our third property on Cones Point Road. First was purchased in 1980, second was 1986 and this was 2011. Great access to lake. Not a lot of boat traffic. Owners are more than willing to make your stay the most enjoyable.
    Purchased a fourth property on Cones Point Road on August 30th, 2022.

    この宿泊施設の特徴

    Excellent view of water from all rooms of lower cottage. Covered porch connected to the new deck makes a relaxing place to sit and relax. Also a great food or beverage serving area with back up refrigerator nearby. Property is .6 acre, therefore not crowded by neighbors. End of dead end street with not much traffic. Upper cottage has a very large deck to enjoy.
