We enjoyed a week stay, the location was very central and easy walk to shops and restaurants. House was well equipped with everything we needed.

Great little bach but no water or power the last day which was frustrating because of our long upcoming flight. There was also a leak when it rained.Otherwise perfect location for ponsonby and very pretty and functional home

What can I say. The house in Ponsonby was perfect for our travelling party of 5 (with 2 young kids). Our final stop on a North Island circuit for 5 nights!We had an issue with the hot water not working on Day 1 (due to a blown fuse), however the host organised a technician within 24 hours and also offered a small refund. So a tricky experience was turned into a good one. Communication was 8/10, could have been better if the host was slightly more prompt and accurate with the messages regarding the fixes.The property has old school charm and is extremely functional for any group of travellers. It has everything you might need for a comfortable stay.While these are all on the listing, the things we appreciated that little bit extra were; Ponsonby Rd on doorstep, reverse-cycle heating, the shower was amazing, proximity to public transport, feeling safe welcome in the community.We'd happily stay at The Ponsonby house again. Great location and gorgeous house

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect for wandering to Ponsonby Road or even downtown and is set on a quiet residential street with ample parking. The management company was helpful and we had good communication during our stay about check in/out and any questions we had. The house had all the amenities we needed to have a comfortable trip- washer, dryer, dryer rack, dishwasher, stove, fridge etc. The property was clean and well maintained and spacious enough for our our older teen boys who enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and popping out for food and shopping. The sushi restaurants and ice cream parlors were a hit and all within a 5 minute walk. Plus the nearby food courts, clothing stores, book shop and art galleries and numerous coffee shops was perfect.

A quiet spot hidden just metres away from Ponsonby Road
