Cabin was adequate for a stay in the mountains but not great. I was very outdated, had stained carpet, rips/ holes in some of the furniture/ rugs, the gas grill ran out of gas, the charcoal grill collapsed during use, the hot tub chemicals weren't balanced (we used test strips), and the lighting was poor. The owner actually called on the 2nd day so he could set up for the maintenance man to come fix an issue with the loft railing. I mentioned an issue with the mid level bathroom lights and jacuzzi but the lights seemed to work when the repairman showed up. The repairman said he'd have someone come fix the chemicals in the jacuzzi (which never happened) The next day, we had issues with the lights in the bathroom again. The property could certainly stand some tree trimming to improve the view and general updating (the TVs were super small and old too but that wasn't a huge issue for our purposes).
All that being said, it was priced lower than most other comparable cabins in the area and they allowed for my wife's therapy dog (likely allowable due to the already existing condition of the carpet). There were definitely some inconveniences but there were beds with clean sheets (the only reason I gave 3 stars on cleanliness is due to the condition of the carpet and over all feel likely due to how outdated it was), towels, and hot showers so all things considered, we had what we needed. Some of the earlier reviews mentioned how hard it was to find this place. I did not have that issue and thought that the owner was more than adequate with the directions they provided.
