Great location for the price

This was a great location, close to the beach. The condo supplied all the basics, including paper supplies, etc., to get you started. It was clean and comfortable. They supplied plenty of towels, which you don’t often get. The twin beds in the spare room weren’t very comfortable however, children probably wouldn’t mind. I would strongly caution to be sure to hang the guest pass in your car AT ALL TIMES. One morning, my car was almost towed. The towing company said the owner called them and reported a car was parked illegally in the designated condo spot. I had no warning whatsoever, not even a heads up from the owner. Very close call, which would’ve cost me hundreds of dollars. That is probably the only reason I wouldn’t give this a total five star review. Otherwise, everything was great.

Exactly as Advertised

Clean, great location and super communicative and helpful host. What else can you ask for. If traveling to AMI and want close access to beach, a great pool, and close enough to bike to anything you need - this is the spot.

Anna Maria getaway

We had a blast! This location is super convenient and you can walk to the beach and the downtown area! We played lots of mini golf, tried new foods/restaurants, and got engaged during a sunset beach walk.

Runaway Retreat!

The condo was lovely, clean, and well equiped! It was comfortable with cozy beds and extra quilts/blankets for chilly nights! Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals! Short walk to the best beach and a warm swim in the pool afterwards. I am looking forward to coming back for another stay!

Great location

We loved staying here. It was very clean, easy to check in, easy to hop on the trolley. The kitchen worked great for us but didn't have like olive oil or basic things like that. Did have coffee filters though. We used the washer and dryer and they were great. Unfortunately, we had some bad weather so we couldn't take advantage of the pool or the pickleball but it was accessible. The bed wasn't super comfortable but nothing traveling is like your bed at home. Our issue was with the property management company and not having luggage storage for an entire day when our flight was late. This was a huge inconvenience and we missed out on a beach day because of it. Overall, it was a good place to stay. We ended up going to places more on the north part of the island so I would stay on anna maria next time but we were able to walk to a lot and see a lot with this location.

Just what we needed!

The condo has been beautifully updated. Walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. Trolley service was a great way to get around. The owner was super friendly and helpful. We only wished we stayed longer. ☺️

Vacation stay at Anna Marie Island

The condo was nice. Loved having a washer and dryer and all wood floors! NO CARPET!👍Neighborhood was very nice. Cons: livingroom blinds need to be replaced along with the beach wagon. Back wheel was broken. Please have your cleaning crew change the air filter. Regularly! We changed the filter which was very dirty. Would stay at this condo again!

Great updated condo in great location

This was our second stay at the Runaway Bay complex; we love the complex and this unit was fabulous. Right across the street from the beach; has a nice pool if beach is a little windy/cool. Unit had everything we needed, and updated kitchen with open floor plan was great. Good communication with host and easy check out process appreciated. Only negative was pullout couch was extremely uncomfortable but if you aren’t using it no worries! Would definitely book again!

Great condo and location

Condo was ideal for family of 4. It was a good size and had everything needed to enjoy our stay. Had the bonus of beach chairs and other equipment. A 2 minute walk to the beach with access right opposite development. Beach was awesome and offered great walking swimming and space to enjoy a beach day. Some great local restaurants and take outs (smoqehouse, right next door was brilliant). Easy access to longboat key and on/off island. AMI doesn’t allow chains (Mcd’s Starbucks etc ) which means local business get supported, what a refreshing change. Over 30yrs of visiting Florida and 1st visit to this area, defo would return and would most definitely choose to work with terry again and his family’s condo. 10/10.

Runaway Bay

I chose this property for a few reasons. Reasonably priced, ratings, closeness to the beach, and especially the decor. We wanted something soft and relaxing as we needed to de-stress and not something loud and distracting. This little condo is amazing!!!! It’s very cute, well kept, and clean. I can’t say enough great things about this little rental and location. I would def stay here again and rent from this agency.

Sehr schönes sauberes Apartment nahe des Strandes.

Nach dem Buchen bekamen wir über 10 Emails mit zum Teil falschen Informationen. Wir konnten die Türe des Apartments nicht öffnen und unsere Ansprechsperson Terry ear schwierig zu kontaktieren. Nach einem schwierigen Start konnten wir das schöne Apartment an einer schönen Beach aber geniessen.

Almost perfect.

No internet when we arrived since Spectrum was requiring equipment update. Normally not a big deal but cell and data are poor in this area so it was a little of an inconvenience. It was up and running the next day. 1 off the 3 tv's did not have cable access but again we were not there to watch tv:) The main shower had a handle missing from one of the doors. Some broken blinds. The biggest complaint was the matresses. It was tough to get a good nights sleep.Now the good. Great location.Short walk to restaurants and the beach. Very clean condo. No bugs! I would suggest new matresses and box springs and more decor on the walls with ocean and beach related stuff. Us tourists love that. The condo could use a couple of upgrades but with new matresses we would rent from Terry again.

Wonderful community!

We had a wonderful stay. Overall the unit was clean, the beds comfortable, plus an easy check in process. The private beach is just across the street and is not overly crowded. We live in Florida near Sanibel Island ( always crowded) so being able to enjoy the nice quiet beach was wonderful. The pool is nice and large and the full time residents are very friendly. Terry was very prompt to answer any questions which was a big plus. We would stay in this unit again.

Lovely unit!

We had an excellent stay. The unit was clean, fully stocked, and quiet. Also decorated so cute! We especially loved the short walk to the beach, the patio space, and the relaxing pool. Can’t wait to return!
