Excellent

House was beautiful. The pictures was very accurate. The host was amazing. Our only complaint was the air n heating sysyem. We just didnt understand how to use it so i am sure it was the operator. We froze one night and burned up the next.

Absolutely perfect cabin for a mountain getaway

Our whole family loved the place! We had privacy and everything we needed for a relaxing family weekend.

Our overall stay was a pleasant one. The host was very quick to communicate with us. There were a few things that were not working and the host apologized for this. The home was very clean and accommodating items throughout the home. This was our first VRBO and the ck in and out was super easy. The jacuzzi was a nice amenity. Negatives Fire place didn’t work. We’re from Florida and the night got down in the 40’s and would have been a nice thing to have The Grill was not cleaned, heavy grease on rack The fire pit outside wouldn’t light. Host was very nice to bring a full tank, but we could not get it to light. (Could have been operator error) Porch was very dirty and a leaf blower may be helpful. Home smelled a bit musty upon entry. Positives Home was pictured as described. Host was extremely responsive and kind Bed comfortable TVs in every room. Comfortable.

Enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Lively property with great privacy. The hot tub and the small fire pit with chairs made the stay even nicer. And Ms Pacman was an adddd bonus! We highly recommend and hope to visit again.

My husband and I chose this property for our 32nd Anniversary and enjoyed every minute. It had everything we needed and it was quiet and comfortable. If you're looking for a place to get away from everything and relax this is the place.

Beautiful setting

This property was perfect for fun, relaxation, and cooking! We loved our time here. Relaxing in the hot tub and playing pool together was so nice. Eating dinner on the porch in the beautiful outdoor setting was wonderful. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for this place being so perfectly set up!

Amazing Mountain Getaway

Amazing property for a mountain getaway with all the amenities you could want! Quiet area tucked away from others, but close to everything you need with great activities. The pool table and retro video game table were great during the rain, and the hot tub and patio seating were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoor views. A very clean, comfortable, and spacious property.

Peaceful

The house was very clean and we enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen area. The area was very peaceful. The driveway was a little difficult to get up for my car had to put in second gear and floor the accelerator. The house was close to everything we wanted to do. Thank you for checking on us during our stay.

We wanted to stay forever

This hidden gem of a vacation property, tucked away in the middle of the mountains. Surrounded by nature, close to the mountains, with a location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The property itself was a dream - complete with a hot tub and pool table, it offered the perfect balance of relaxation and fun activities. The home was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with all the amenities one would need for a cozy snowed-in day or simply enjoying life away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a serene retreat in nature!" We visited Sugar Mountain for skiing, The Crestwood restaurant, downtown Boone and enjoyed daily visits in the hot tub, video games, and playing pool.

Very cool spot

Great location, very clean, tons of amenities. After it snowed a crew came and salted the drives, and porches/stairs. About 15 minutes to app ski, and about 6 minutes to Starbucks in Boone.

Mountain Getaway but close to town

Spacious, comfortable and updated property in secluded woods but just 15 minutes to Boone. Comfortable beds, nice linens and plenty of dishes/silverware and kitchen cookware*. *Could use new 9x13 pans if someone wanted to roast veggies. It has a wrap around deck and the propane fire table actually worked. The hot tub was the best we've ever been in! Be aware that the approach is a gravel road with numerous potholes so the first ride up might be scary but a slow, cautious drive and a Subaru could handle it. Some personal amenities we expected were missing but one call to John and everything was taken care of quickly. You can tell the house has sentimental value but it's also very modern and even has google for a great music selection.

The most beautiful place

This cabin is stunning! Beautiful peaceful and secluded home, love the fireplace and the kitchen. So welcoming and warm and hands down the BEST hot tub. Love the pool table and the arcade, wish I never had to leave! Thank you again to my wonderful gracious hosts ❤️

Awesome place

The house was just as advertised. Once you travel the steep gravel driveway to get to the house, the house does not disappoint. We were struck at how quiet it is at the property. The hot tub is very nice. If you are looking for a nice place to go to unplug from a busy work/personal life, this place is it. And its a quick drive to get into beautiful downtown Boone which has a little of everything. Very nice vacation!

Anniversary Trip

We stayed for a weekend at this listing and it was as great as advertised. Hot tub was awesome. We were close to other houses/cabins, but it felt completely secluded. So very quiet.
