Host was VERY responsive and cordial. Plenty of dishes and large mugs for Christmas hot chocolate and coffee. Abundance of towels. Great stay!!

The view from this house is spectacular. Having kitchen, dining and living room area all on the top floor with the deck to expand the footprint makes this very comfortable. With all of the windows open on a nice day the outdoors sound and smells come inside which is very special. The walk to the beach and parking lot are both very short. Beds are very comfortable, with windows open you feel like you are sleeping on the beach. Al is a very hospitable host. Easy to contact when needed and very helpful. We had a great stay.

Views are 5 star. Sitting on the deck you feel like you can put your feet in the surf. Quiet neighborhood. Sound of the surf puts you to sleep nightly. Be prepared for getting your steps in, 42 stairs from bottom floor to top. Certainly enjoyed our stay, Al was quick to answer and assist with any issues. Thank you

The property was wonderful. The location was great. Less than 2 min walk to the beach carrying all our stuff. The balcony had the best views. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed.Communication with Al was easy.

The house was really nice, updated, very clean, and had beautiful ocean views right from the deck and rooms. It had all of the features that were listed and all of the rooms were comfortable. We could walk right down to the beach and enjoyed the sunsets. We also had fun playing pickleball and basketball. The host, Al, was awesome! He is very responsive, helpful, and was great to rent from!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. View is incredible. House was as pictured and was large enough for our family (10) gathering. Easy walk to beach. Short drive to Santa Cruz and Monterey. We will return for sure.

Extended family beach weekend

Stayed at the beach house for the weekend with extended family over Mother’s Day weekend (grandparents, adult children spouses, grandchildren). The views were great and and steps away from the beach. Be prepared for lots of steps and bring soap/foil for cooking. Otherwise house was fully-stocked. Plenty of towels and bedding. It was confident to have a laundry machine for washing clothes that got wet from the ocean. Stairs are not the most child friendly (youngest member is almost 2yo) and would not recommend for guests with younger children. Third floor patio was great for enjoying the view and ocean breezes. Loved the sunset views.

Great View

Had a fantastic stay! First the basics. Everything was clean, kitchen was well apointed (cooked for 7), everything worked & host was great. The home accomodated 7 adults easily and the view was amazing, we were able to see whales and watch magnificent sunsets from the balcony. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect for families!

This property had an amazing view from the top floor. Located in a private neighborhood, you can consider it your own private beach. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated and layout was perfect for a large group with teens so that everyone has space. AL was a thoughtful and attentive host! 10/10!!
