This property is now listed as a long-term rental, but when I initially requested to book the apartment, it allowed a short-term stay. The owner contacted me offering a different unit in the building that was "the same 2 bed, 1 bath". I was offered pictures to verify which looked fine, but which did not hold up upon arrival. It's clearly set up as a rental property with the standard limited kitchen utensils/cookware, linens, towels, etc., but I have yet to actually find the same unit here on Vrbo. The main area was ok, but the flooring was shoddy and has a few spots that were tripping hazards. But the main spot that was significantly substandard is the bathroom which looked okay in the photos, but which I should have questioned. The blinds in the shower covering a window were covered in mildew and mold spots and there is huge leak spot just outside the provided photo (first photo).About the only reason it wasn't a 1 star is that we really only used the place to sleep after long days at GenCon. Maybe the actual listed unit is great, but I wouldn't know that. It was definitely not worth the money we paid to stay there, and if the photos had shown the state of the bathroom, I would have passed on the offered alternate unit.
