Perfect family vacation

We had a fantastic stay! The beach access was ideal—you could drive right onto the sand to unload, or take a quick 3-minute walk, which we often did. The beach itself was peaceful and uncrowded, making it the perfect spot to relax.The location was great, with local restaurants nearby and just a 30-minute drive to Galveston. Despite being a large group, the house was thoughtfully designed so we never felt cramped. It was well-equipped with all the essentials, making our stay easy and comfortable.We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at the Beach House. The layout worked out wonderfully for our family. The upstairs loft was a good space for older kids. The pool was nice as well. Any questions were answered in a timely manner. Overall a Good experience.

Great Property and Owner

It was exactly as described. We love it and our stay there. We only had one problem that happened within the first couple hours we were there. Owner was easy to get a hold of and took care of it quickly and efficiently. We would stay here again!

Family time

It was perfect for us. Plenty of space for all of us. The beach is close by. The bay was closer and we got to fish. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of dishes to cook. Plenty of towels to take showers. We had a great time.

Plenty of room for our family event. Love the outside porch. A minute drive from the beach. I loved that they thought of everything! There were games above the washer/dryer and they had sand toys for the kids in the garage. Owner was very responsive and attentive. We look forward to staying at their other property too.

Family getaway

Great family house the only problem we had was with the refrigerator not cooling great. We had to use our coolers to keep some things cold so fridge could cool down the little bit we had in there. That was pretty much the only inconvenience besides not having a couple pods to wash clothes. We were comfortable in the house with 3 couples and 2 teens and 1 child. Great location and easy to find.

Family Weekend Getaway

We had 10 family members at this spot and we had a great stay! It was clean and fully ready for us! The Honey Hole has all that you need right there! Kitchen has all the cooking utensils you could ever need! Also beach chairs and boogie boards! Spacious and quiet and just blocks from the beach! Do be prepared to keep some cold items in coolers although we managed it the fridge has a note about not over stocking it and it seems like the seal on the door could use a replacement so we kind of were checking on the fridge situation the whole time but there were no issues.. Would definitely go back to the Honey Hole again!

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Everything in the cottage looked exactly like the pictures, very clean and well-maintained. It was kid-friendly which was nice as our 3 year old grandson came up for the day. In addition to the room with the tent, there were children's dishes and beach toys. We were able to add a dog after a last minute sitter cancelation. The fenced in yard was nice for him. The propane grill in the garage and washer and dryer upstairs were nice to have. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet and directly across the street from a free parking lot on the beach. There are little gas station markets nearby but we chose to drive to the Walmart about 20 min. away for some things like cooking spray, foil, and ziplocks. I'm new to VRBO so I knew to bring food, but I didn't think about these things. The checkout expectations were very reasonable. We had a great time. Thank you for the stay.

Spring Break Family Vacation

If you want a bang for your buck, this was it! Up todate and clean. My family really loved the property. We barbecued and had amazing time sitting on the deck talking while the kids played games. The beach was walking distance. I would definitely rent again.

Definitely A Good Stay

The home is very roomy. It was nice and clean. The host responded promptly. We did run into a little trouble with lights being off for over 5 hours, but not due to anything dealing with the owners. The best beach home I have rented thus far.

This Place is Perfect!!

My family rented the property for a Thanksgiving getaway and it was absolutely perfect! There was plenty room for all of us, the kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed to prepare our meals and every corner of the home was SPOTLESS! The host considered every detail and she was great!

Great house and location

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this house. Had a view of the water and ample space for our group. The kids LOVED sleeping and playing in the loft! Quick drive to a gravel parking lot with basically a private beach. Pool was a nice change of pace also. Owner was very responsive! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot for friends, family and dog.

The house made our beach stay perfect! It was clean, plenty of room, towels and beds, and pet friendly. Nice neighborhood with gated area for our pup. The beach is a short drive away and we used the pool too.

HONEY HOLE,- Great Family Beach House for All Ages

The Honey Hole was perfect for our family that included Teens, Grandparent and Adults. The beach house was clean, there were plenty of towels and we had all the accommodations we needed. We used the grill, the fire pit for s’mores and even used the beach toys for the teens. We did bring our own beach towels and rented a golf cart from a local company which delivered and picked up. Bernadette was more than accommodating and checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed. We would definitely reserve the HONEY HOLE again and recommend others to consider this beach house.
