Nice pool villa

Great for family and/ or friends traveling together. The Jomtien night market is a 20 minute walk. The villa was very quiet and restful

This was a nice place with a nice pool. Our Family stay there one night. .

This is a nice place but the location was not great it’s at least a mile to the beach and you really have to take a cab to get anywhere from it. There were a lot of families staying and the sound carried. You could hear kids playing, and also other families doing karaoke at night, was somewhat disturbing. To check in and check out process was easy and management was accommodating with any request.

Thank you for staying at my villa. Sorry that you overlooked the location of villa on the maps. It is very important that people understand where they will be in relation to the places they want to visit before the confirm the booking. Also, about noise pollution, yes, it can sometimes be like that in Pattaya as it is a party city. We try to control the noise but there are no laws in Thailand to prevent people from having parties in their homes. I hope to see you again in the future.

A Decent Place

To start with, the property is nice. However, one of the biggest detractions is its location. It is removed from the city in a way that almost will always require hiring a Grab or tuk-tuk. The arrival process was fine, but a surprise request for THB 5,000 from the person checking us in was offputting to say the least. If they needed a deposit, wouldn't it make sense to just put it on the card we booked with and then return it? If you just flew into Pattaya from a different country, you might not have that kind of cash. The propety was supposedly recently refurbished, but there was definitely a bit of wear and tear. I think the biggest detraction was the lack of basic amenities. For instance, they provide 1 towel per person irrespective of the lenght of stay. They don't provide pool towels, a washer or dryer, a dishwasher, anything in the shower to place shampoo/conditioner/body gel and paper towel. They did provide one sponge with a little bit of dishwasher liquid for apparently all your cleaning requirements. It could be that we are picky, but those basic things would have gone a long way to make the stay more enjoyable.

Dear Mark, thank you for your review. I am surprised at your comments as everything you appear to be disatisfied with, is already set out in the listing description and the house rules - everything that is included in the price and what is provided is already in the listing description and the deposit is also in the house rules. It is must simpler to collect a security deposit on arrival to cover incidentals and then return it upon check out. Otherwise, hosts need to spend a lot of time contacting VRBO to process the claim and charges. The location of the property is correct on the listing map and we always recommend that guests do their homework on where they want to be in Pattaya/Jomtien before they book. Many guests have stayed before and are very happy with the location as they are not walk-shy and can walk to 7/11 and the beach or walk to the main road the take a taxi. Basic amenities are supplied upon arrival (as set out in the listing description)... these are simple supplies to help you get started as most guests bring their own preferred toiletries etc. My staff are there on hand to help you with any additional items or service that you need, but you didn't reach out to them or myself at all during your stay until the day before your check out, you asked about your return trip to Bangkok. It is true that the villa is not brand new, actually, about 10 years old. It was a free upgrade from the 3 bedroom villa you booked. It has recently been painted/decorated, a new waterslide installed at that villa and some new soft furnishings. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing our villa for your stay and we hope to welcome you again in the future.
