Very little effort with this property.

Extremely dirty when we arrived. To the point where my toddlers feet were jet black within 30 mins of walking on the floors. Mold in showers and bathrooms. Old shag carpet in the bedrooms that’s so filthy we went and all bought slippers to even walk in the bedrooms. The only saving grace was how professionally and quickly dunes realty was in addressing my concerns the best they could. Property management can only do so much to address this place though. The property could be updated and cleaned up with very little investment. They don’t have a keurig which even basic hotel rooms have. A 1980s vacuum that was duct taped and didn’t work to even attempt to clean ourselves. Couches smell, beds are rock hard old mattresses with .99 cent pillows. New paint carpets and minor updates would go a long way. Location is great and house has potential but I would not stay in this place again. We never felt comfortable or clean especially with a baby staying with us.

Great beach spot

Perfect for us. Some things a little worn and dated but would definitely stay again. The location was perfect for the guys to fish when at the house and a very short walk to the beach. The beach wasn’t crowded so great for the family and kids to play and stay in view.

Spring Break

The location of this house is excellent! The house was not super clean when we arrived, I'm assuming we were the first renters in awhile. We did some cleaning and asked that they come cut the grass. They are very responsive to requests and the grass was cut the next day. We found some discrepancies with the listing. The porches are not screened and one of the beds listed as a queen was actually a full size. None of these things were deal breakers! The house could use some updating, especially the bathrooms and kitchen, but all in all, it was a great value and we really enjoyed our stay! Thanks Dunes Realty! You guys are awesome!

An excellent week. The house is a block and a half from the beach with public access directly across the street. Nice house at a ready price.

Excellent location

Truly enjoyed our stay at Up The Creek. Quiet location, one block from the beach. Went for walks every day along the beach and in the neighborhood. Plenty of room for our family. Thanks!

Wonderful vacations!!!!

The house is very comfortable, it has everything you need to spend a nice vacation, very clean and neat, the beach is only one block away. Definitely highly recommended. The pier fishing, groceries, bar, restaurant and beach store isn’t far away from the house.

our happy vacation

We stayed at up the creek. This house is prime location walking distance to the beach. The house is large enough for 10-15 people without be squished. The screened in porches were key at night no bugs!!! We loved our stay

Great Place!!

It was a very great place to stay. Far enough away from the business of the town area; but within walking distance to the beach access area. Lovely view of the inlet. Nice and quiet. Only downside was there was some painting going on while we were there. It was all outside painting, but still a distraction. All in all a great experience. Looking forward to coming back!

Great for our family

Our family absolutely loved this property. We were a fun crew of parents, grandparents, and grandkids. Husband and I know the area so we knew what a short walk to the beach this was. Neighborhood is so much fun to walk or bike around. And just minutes from the GC pier or Marsh Walk is so great. Adored feeding my little his bottle every morning on the back porch, with view of the channel. We plan on returning again!

Up the Creek in a Hurricane

The house was in a great location at the end of a channel and just a couple blocks to the beach. The furniture, dishes, lights/fans and appliances were “well used” and could have used some updating but we really enjoyed being up the creek without a paddle.
