The house was terrific. Very cosy and comfortable. We loved the way it’s been beautifully decorated with genuine rustic charm coupled with quality finishes and creature comforts. The location was convenient for exploring Robertson and surrounds and we found the locals to be friendly and welcoming. I brought some prepped elements to make evening meals a little easier but still had elements to cook and prepare during our stay. We were able to pick up a few items at the local shops and enjoyed trying some local wines too. The kitchen was very functional and contained some basic necessities to aid food preparation and critical caffeination. We loved the fireplace and enjoyed the cold nights of the Southern Highlands. Lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay and Melissa was very good with information about checking in we found every thing was there for us that we needed it was a very cold weekend and we would have liked to use the fire place but there was no information regarding the fire wood. We did find it just as we were leaving so that was a bit disappointing but over all it was a lovely place to stay. Thank you

A perfect Autumn weekend retreat

Melissa was very accommodating as we had asked to check in a tad early to let our son nap at the property. She had set the heater to go on an hr before we arrived so that the house is nice and toasty when we entered. The property was perfect, very neat, had everything we needed and the heated bathroom floors were a bonus!

Beautiful home in Southern Highlands

Our family had a wonderful 5 night stay and loved this place. The property is immaculate and kitted out with absolutely everything needed to make it home from home. Recommend the property and the host without hesitation. Highly recommend a drink or dinner at the Robertson Hotel which is directly opposite the property.

Beautiful Stay for our Wedding

We stayed here the night before and after our wedding in Robertson. The property is aesthetically beautiful, comfortable and homely. It is a 2 min drive to the pub and cafes. The home has a country vibe and was a beautiful place to stay for our special weekend. The owners are very accommodating. The decor and final touches are well thought out. You have everything you need. This place is very special and we will definitely return.

Refreshing & Relaxing

This property is breathtaking. Cleanliness A+. Comfortable, beautiful decor, extremely high standards to ensure guests feel at home & very spoiled with all the tasteful object ‘art. We felt very welcomed as did our beloved old dog. Thank you Melissa, your home is truly stunning. It was private, in a fascinating location & the communication I had with you was perfect.

Robertson getaway

Can’t recommend this lovely property highly enough. Melissa’s home was absolutely stunning, had everything we needed for a cold weekend and is in a great location near Robertson’s cafes and shops. Excellent and speedy communication from the host and we’ll definitely book again. 5 stars!

Fantastic family country house

Lovely Cottage

Lovely period-style cottage, neatly and cleanly presented with many extras to make it feel welcoming and homely. A good location. Melissa responded promptly to queries, and made suggestions for tourist attractions in the area. Parking for more than one car is a little tight, especially after heavy rain as additional grassed parking areas were bogged.

Great set up for a girls weekend away

We had a fabulous time staying at Melissa place, very comfortable, central to all the walks in the local area and a short drive into Bowral. Would highly recommend for a girls weekend away or family getaway.

Beautiful house, pleasant outlook in a picturesque town

The house is beautifully appointed (with everything you need), very roomy and with comfortable beds. Our daughter used the house to get ready on the morning of her wedding. We know the photographer and videographer captured some great photos in lovely surroundings. We were aware that the parking is limited and access is a little tricky down a narrow lane and steep driveway. Something to note if many people are coming and going but in most cases this won't be an issue. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

The house is close to all of the Southern Highlands attractions as well as the South Coast of NSW.
Robertson is known for scenic landscape and is the gateway to the states best waterfalls (Fitzroy, Belmore and Carrington Falls). The house is located within walking distance to the Robertson Cheese Factory (10min), and a quick drive to the Robertson Pie Factory (5 min). The house is perfectly positioned for any events at The Robertson Hotel also know as Fountaindale Grand Manor
