Located in Moonlight Basin, 2 Silver Star offers an exceptional ski-in/ski-out experience framed by the breathtaking Spanish Peaks. Designed to sleep 10, this chalet features 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms spread out among 2,560 square feet of living space. Only 5 minutes from Big Sky Resort, this retreat ensures that guests are never far from adventure or relaxation!

*Please be advised that this home does not have air conditioning

Tired, Poorly Maintained and Managed

We have been coming to Big Sky for 10+ years and this is the first negative review I have ever written. This property is neither “impeccable” nor a “chalet with hot tub”. Owner definitely isn’t spending money on the property. Wish I could share pictures. One of the towel racks in the master bathroom is falling off. The front panel of the microwave is falling off. One of the oven racks was broken and unusable. The outside porch railing is rotten and about to collapse which was a serious concern with kids on the property. Nothing has been updated. The has has six “spoons”. One of them is one of those giant spoons to serve salad. One is a long teaspoon. Another is a circular one you would eat tomato soup with. There was literally one normal spoon. I must have missed the memo to bring my own silverware. While they advertise as a “chalet with hot tub” we didn’t have one until the last day. This is big deal for my kids on every ski trip. Natural Retreats informed me that it would be broken just before we arrived and offered no compensation. After protesting, the day before we arrived they then promised to send me paperwork for a credit. I never received anything. Simple hospitalities are non-existent here. Ski-in/ski-out directions? Nope. Directions on how to use the tvs? Nope. Trash liners that fit the trashcan? Nope. Look elsewhere. Owner doesn’t invest in the property. Management doesn’t care. Not worth it.

Excellent location

We stayed in Moonlight Basin for a wedding! It was super close to the venue but also close to town and other activities in the area!

Great Ski Trip

2 Silver Star was a great home base for our New Years ski trip to Big Sky. The house was clean and well appointed with an awesome ski-in/ski-out location and great view. The customer service staff leading up to our trip was very responsive and provided excellence assistance. We would highly recommend this rental.

House was amazing, nice area with hiking trails all around. Only downfall was no AC, it was quite warm during the day, it did cool off in the evening. Window units or a fan in the master bedroom would have been nice

Great ski rental in Moonlight Basin

Comfortable house in great location. Easy ski-in/out. Perfect for a large family or group of friends. Concierge and house manager were very responsive and made our stay very enjoyable.
