Classic raised beach home is as far north in Cherry Grove as you can go!! This home is positioned just a short walk to the ocean with a tidal creek in the back yard which takes you right out to Cherry Grove Point!!! This home is perfect for your vacation with a large family, with two sets of washer and dryer under the home!! The home has very large 9ft by 27ft balconies on both levels which give guests serene views of the marsh and even a glimpse of the ocean peaking through. The family dog is welcome to join in the fun as Leatherback Lodge 2 is dog friendly!!!

Our stay was great. Our hostess was even willing to bring bags of ice over when the ice maker stopped (which we refused) but she gave us a refund. And the neighbors were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend a 4.5 star overall.

We had a great stay at this beach house! Check-in was smooth and easy, with clear instructions that made our arrival stress-free. The house was very clean upon arrival, and we really appreciated how well-kept and welcoming everything felt.The owner was also very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had during our stay, which made the experience even better.One area that could be improved is the kitchen—it could use a few more supplies and essentials for guests who enjoy cooking. That said, the home was comfortable, in a great location, and perfect for a relaxing beach vacation.We’d definitely consider staying again!

Just perfect

From sunrise to sunset this property made every moment memorable. Great proximity to beaches, food, and shopping. Stephanie WA’s quick and prompt to answer any questions we had. The space was perfect for our large gathering.

Very nice accommodations! Clean, comfortable, and plenty of room for our family. Stephanie, the owner, was quick to answer any questions and even left a welcome basket containing some necessities that may have been forgotten with a few snacks as well. I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect for family rendezvous

We had family come together from all over for my daughter's destination wedding. The house is beautiful with lots of space. The back decks were great for the evenings. We had the bridesmaids all get ready with hair and makeup in the one unit. There were enough mirrors and space for all of us. Having the 2 full kitchens is also very nice with that many people. There were beach chairs and just a short walk to the beach. The hosts were very responsive to any issues or questions. I would highly recommend this property!

We had a great stay. Place was clean and they had a gift basket with toiletries, toothbrushes, deodorants, and more for those who may have forgotten them. Kitchen fully stocked with cooking supplies. We had a microwave that wasn’t working and I messaged host and they responded quickly and resolved the issue asap. Great place to stay especially if traveling with friends or another family.

Our stay was so amazing! The location is beautiful.It was so peaceful on the water. The two separate living areas worked so well for our group of late sleepers and early risers. The kitchens werr well stocked with all the cooking needs and very clean. Stephanie went above and beyond to make our family trip so special. We can't wait to go back next year!

The house is well maintained, located on a quiet marsh (and unbelievably, no bugs), near the ocean beach, and provides nearly unlimited parking. We had a great vacation week.

On the point

Leatherback Lodge 2 is a nicely updated house on the point in Cherry Grove. We stayed during the 4th of July and it was very quiet with a nice view of the marsh. There are 3 bedrooms and two baths on each floor so plenty of space to spread out. We took our golf cart to the beach because it was very hot but you could walk. Stephanie is a great host and we would definitely stay here again.

Great week with family

The house was great and the two separate floors allowed family time and our little ones quiet space to rest. Short walk to the beach. The house was well equipped for cooking and the hosts ensured that everything we needed was there.

Outstanding Vacation Home!!!

This home is outstanding for a large family to have a relaxing vacation. There were 14 of us and we had room to sprawl out and relax at our leisure. Even when there was an occasional rain event we were able to sit out on the covered porches or under home itself and enjoy the beautiful marsh creek just outside the back of the home. It was close enough to grocery stores, restaurants, mini golf and many other things to do. It was only a short walk to the beach and a nice area just to walk through. Stephanie was quick to respond to the couple of questions that I had and was a pleasure to speak with. Highly recommend this one. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Perfect place

We loved the house and the location. Stephanie was wonderful to communicate with us. They even went the second mile to correct the internet connection. Sent her husband out to get it corrected! Not many host would do that! We loved being on the marsh! I highly recommend this property for family vacations!

Nice beach house

Good stay!

We had a great time. The welcoming basket was very nice! We had family and friends coming and going all week and the house worked well for our needs. We cooked a lot at the house and the kitchen utensils/pots/pans could be updated. But overall, we had a great stay!

A Beautiful Week in a Beautiful House

We loved our stay here. Stephanie is a fantastic hostess. Great communication throughout our stay. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. Our beagle Millie loved watching the birds from the balcony. Gorgeous scenery and centrally located. Highly recommend.

We enjoy everything about our Beach town and the surrounding beaches of Surfside, North Myrtle Beach and Cherry Grove Beach. We enjoy traveling and host two of our own vacation rentals in Cherry Grove Beach SC, Leatherback Lodge and Leather Back Lodge 2

The Leatherback 2 is unique in that it offers two separate living spaces which is ideal if you have a large group or even multiple families vacationing together. Two separate kitchens, four full bath rooms, double of everything even two sets of washers and driers. There is two separate wireless routers for strong wifi connections!!! Outside, the home has ample parking, an outdoor shower, and a small dock on the tidal creek for fishing, kayaking, and paddle-boarding.
