Beautiful new Lake House Pets & Kids friendly with beach access!

Beautiful and brand new lake house! Pet and kid friendly! Just a few steps away from our lake Michigan beaches!

Please note that reservations made for any time during September - May with minimum 3 nights stay, guests may only stay between Monday - Sunday.

Please note summer reservations June, July and August term may begin Sunday or Monday through Friday or Saturday, minimum 5 nights.

The house has three bedrooms with queen size beds, a master suite and three and a half bathrooms. We also have a travel crib and a high chair for the little ones!
The master suite has a king size bed a big screen tv and a balcony. Kitchen is on the main floor and has access to the outdoor deck and patio areas. It is equipped with stainless steel appliances and includes all your kitchenette needs. There is also a dining area with a large table and chairs. The living room is also on the main floor its very spacious and is furnished with comfortable couches that pull out to beds if necessary as well as a big screen tv. The basement is fully equipped with recline pull out couches and a big screen tv.
For your entertainment there is air hockey table, and an Xbox with games included.
The backyard features a patio with a gas grill, a sharing fire pit for bonfires with next door house, and a hammock for relaxing. To enjoy the beautiful outdoors we provide you with bikes, kayaks, and a golf cart.
There is so many activities to do around town. Fishing, golfing, visiting a vineyard or a brewery, or just going downtown to explore. We are just five miles north of downtown South Haven, and 15 miles from Saugatuck/Douglas.
We love our house and this area, we hope that after your stay you will feel the same! Please take care of it as it is your own

PLEASE NOTE : Lake Michigan water levels may be at record highs and beach conditions such as erosion may change quickly due to uncontrollable natural factors. While we strive to provide accurate photos and information about the lakefront, beaches and access; these conditions changes almost daily. Actual conditions of the beach may be different from photos or descriptions on this listing and the stairs maybe closed. Always ask about beach and stairs conditions. South Haven September Family Vacation

This home fit our perfectly! On a quiet road and pet friendly neighborhood and beach. The stairs were as pictured (steep but manageable). The home felt larger than expected and the fire pit was great in the evenings. We loved the location being close to multiple towns.

Wonderful weekend

The cottage is very clean and well appointed. The location is close to many activities and charming small towns and villages. The kids loved the ping pong table. We wish the erosion on the bluff to Lake Michigan did not block access, but the issue is not the responsibility of the host. Great location, host communication, and home.

Short fall getaway

Our 2 teenagers enjoyed the golf cart rides in the neighborhood. Peaceful and quiet area. We were disappointed to see the soil erosion on Lake Michigan that we didn’t go down the stairs to check out the beach.We feel like it’s the least we can do for Mother Nature.Which brings me to a question why we’re not recycling bins provided. I think that you should seriously consider doing it and be eco-friendly. Also,we noticed that we didn’t have any flat sheet for our bedding.We feel like that it is pretty standard and for the rate that we pay that it should be provided.It was rather weird to not have a flat sheet.We even texted the host about it and she just stated we don’t use it.A customer’s preference should be considered. Overall,a family friendly home ,very clean and nicely decorated.

sisters getaway

This is a lovely home. My sisters and I spent a week here. The home is clean, the kitchen is fully equipped, Even though the weather that week was rainy and cold, we had a great time. We used the bbq, sat on the porch reading, watched the sunsets down the road, went into south haven (farmers market) and saugatuck, went apple picking , and had a great time just relaxing and watching tv on the huge screen television. We are looking forward to returning next year!

Lovely South Haven Stay

We loved the proximity to raspberry and blueberry picking, the house was spacious and well cared for, and the provision of golf cart/bikes/chairs/kayaks was VERY thoughtful and appreciated. The only down side was that the lake was not accessible from our site due to the erosion that has caused the cliffs to collapse into the lake---we had to load all of our stuff/food/multiple little ones into vehicles in order to go to the beach in South Haven.

Perfect for Family Reunion Vacation

This house was absolutely perfect for our three-generation family to come together from three different states for a wonderful week of endless fun in the sun - with a little sprinkle of rain here and there! Aneta was a dream host to work with, and was quick to respond with any questions we had or anything we needed at the house. The beach-vibe décor throughout the house was tasteful and beautiful. We loved the open floor plan on the first floor where the grandkids can be relaxing on the comfy sofas while we prepared meals in the well-equipped kitchen and then set out everything buffet-style across the huge island. Each family unit had their own full bathroom, plus another half bath on the first floor. Another wonderful feature was the laundry room on the second floor, which made it so convenient for our family of six adults and five kids under the age of six to keep up with all the laundry generated every day! The garage was full of extra amenities, including a golf cart that the grandkids loved, several bikes, a Radio Flyer wagon, nice beach chairs and a beach umbrella. We didn't get to take advantage of the kayak and stand-up paddleboards, since there wasn't really any safe access to the lake at the end of the street due to extensive erosion of the bluffs. The area is safe and quiet, and we loved walking down the street to watch the sunset over lake Michigan every night. Overall, this was one of the very best vacation rentals we've stayed in over the years, and we would love to come back and enjoy it with our family in the next couple of years!

Great owners, beautiful and clean home!

We stayed here for a week with our family (including our dog) and had a great time! The owners were extremely responsive to any questions we had and made us feel right at home. The house is brand new, had everything we needed and then some. We tried out the stand up paddle boards and bikes, and the dog quickly decided he loved riding around on the golf cart with us. The kids played lots of ping pong and we all enjoyed our time around the fire pit and seeing the sunset every night. The Kal-Haven bike trail is close by, so if you have a bike rack on your vehicle it is a nice ride. Highly recommend!

Great house for adults and kids.

The owners spared no expense from the house to the toys that entertain all ages including smart TVs and Xbox. The golf cart was a nice way to get around the neighborhood but you need a car to go anywhere else. They had a plethora of beach items from beach chairs to life jackets to a kayak and paddle boards. We had a few families stay with us and the house easily fit all of us without making me feel crowded. It was a great vacation and I highly recommend this house.

Amazing vacation getaway during Covid

Our group included 3 families all with young children. We all had an amazing time. The house appeared brand new, very clean, and there were several things for us to do. A group and child favorite was the golf cart and fire pit on the property. The place was beautiful and located close enough to downtown without being too close or crowded. The only complaint we had (and literally only) was the lack of blinds on some of the windows in the upstairs bedroom, which made it hard to sleep or put young kids to bed early. If i had thought of it prior, I would have brought paper shades.

Great modern vacation home with all of the amenities!

This property is great! It was very clean, and everything was new. There are a ton of toys in the garage: the golf cart is awesome, and there are high quality bikes, chairs and kayaks in the garage. The outdoor area was a bit smaller than expected, but it worked great as a place to relax and sit by the fire. There is a ~7 minute walk to the lake, but getting there is much easier with the golf cart and bikes. The staircase down to the water takes a little getting used to, but didn't affect us much. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a large group!

Beautiful property in a great location

My friends and I had a blast celebrating the Fourth of July at this beautiful property. The home was stocked with everything we needed (and more) and was extremely clean upon arrival. Aneta answered all of our questions promptly.

A beautiful new property

Lovely property, brand new. All of the amenities and conveniences. Short drive to North Beach with easy access to downtown South Haven. We will return.

Great getaway near the lake

This is a very new home with all the comforts needed for a great getaway. Host is very responsive and helpful. House has everything you need for a home away from home. Lake is a short walk from the house (stairs required). Sunsets are AMAZING!

We are a family of six, we have two daughters and a son, and a mini Goldendoodle named Sparky! We have been in the US since 2006, we immigrated from Poland and have been living in the Chicago area since. We have been coming up to South Haven for about ten years now and we absolutely love it here. There is something about this place that just takes your heart. We wanted everyone to enjoy this area as much as we do and that is why we built two beautiful homes here. These are our first rental homes and we are excited to share them with you!
