Alpine Lifestyle. Designer Ski Mtn

Spotless log mountain home with open floor plan, exposed beams and great views. This private home sits nestled on the Bench - in the summer a short 5 minute walk to Town (or less via bike) in the summer, or a 10 minute drive to the ski mountain in the winter. Nordic trails from front door in the winter. Location! Views! Unbeatable and magical.

The space
Unlike many historic homes in Town, this home is spacious and bright. The porch has tremendous views overlooking Town and the Mountain. Total peace and quiet, very private.

Accommodates modern family lifestyle - kitchen, dining and living room open floor plan. Separate kids floor with great family room . Modern conveniences such as high speed wifi, smart TV with streaming services, Sonos audio.

Guest access
We are a 5 minute walk to Town via a maintained dirt / gravel path (sneakers recommended). Or, ride a bike and you are 2 minutes away. Leave the car parked. We are 10 min free shuttle or drive to base of Ski Mountain. Best of both worlds!

Please note: limited parking - only two cars fit. Three can be squeezed. NO MORE can be parked without blocking access road so please don't try since the city will fine and tow you unfortunately!

We are very family friendly (and our young children love coming here!). However, we are not infants or toddlers ready): no high chairs, no cribs, no pack and play, no safety gates on staircases). If this is not a good fit for your immediate family needs, kindly consider booking a better suited infant / toddler ready home.

Trash pickup is once per week on Thursday’s (unless it’s a Federal holiday and then it is the next day). Please ONLY use the bear safe large black trash can provided.

The neighbors have complained in the past about trailers and extra vehicles parked on the main road. That is a fire hazard and the Town will not tolerate it. If you have extra vehicles or trailers, please park them legally somewhere else. You risk fines and extra vehicles being towed if you break the law. Business license 006242

Home was so comfortable, with beautiful views of CB from multiple rooms, was perfect for two families with a large entry for all the ski jackets and shoes. Check in was hassle free, home was spotless, all the towels and bedding were clean and new. Would stay here again, thank you for opening up your home to guests!

This mountain home is in a great location, just above town where you can walk to restaurants and shopping, yet removed from all the busyness of town. The deck is a great place to enjoy the mountain views, visit and relax. The house was very clean, and we had everything we needed. My wife took off on Green Lake Trail just down the road for relaxation. The kids loved the basement rooms.

Great Mountain Getaway

Great property with excellent access to town. There were stunning views from the back deck and the house was cozy and clean.

Remote lovely

Location on the VRBO app appeared to be in town, but was too remote to walk anywhere. Free bus stop was reportedly at end of street, but not evident, nor convenient to walk without a sidewalk. Property is on a dirt road, making access difficult in snow that could not be fully cleared. After the blizzard, a private crew promptly cleared porches and front walk. The shower amenities were great, and towels were substantial. Lighting was insufficient, exacerbated by several burned out bulbs. Views are spectacular, and despite some challenges, would stay again.

Perfect Property for Us

We gathered at the home for a sibling reunion, and everything about it worked out perfectly for us. Great location, beautiful views, cozy home, and a wonderful second floor with a living area, dining area, and kitchen -- one big great room -- that was just perfect for hanging out and catching up. Highly recommend.

Friends visit to CB

House is nice but needs a little TLC….no major issues but a few little things like cobwebs in bedrooms and all around the exterior, burned out light bulbs, broken coffee maker, worn deck furniture. A few little updates and attention to detail would easily make this a five star home.

this house served 7 girlfriends perfectly - plenty of room and well equipped. we all wished for bathroom doors though, since we shared some bedrooms. its a great location, close to town but in a quiet spot overlooking it. saw lots of deer and foxes! cozy feel with lots of space

The MOST BEAUTIFUL spot in Crested Butte!!!

When you pull up to this house you are immediately struck by the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the open fields. To be so close to town yet so private is amazing!! The house felt so open with such spectacular views! Cleanliness was a 10++, the beds so comfortable and the living areas so inviting. We had the most amazing stay and will definitely come back. Thank you to the owners, the housekeepers and the management for making everything feel perfect!

Fantastic home for week with extended family

We stayed for a week with our adult children, their partners, and other family members (8 of us total). The house is even nicer than appears in the photos; absolutely stunning views. Easy 15-minute drive to ski resort, or walk down the hill to the in-town shuttle. My children said the week was "perfect.

Location!!

Our host Sabrina had a great home we rented. The house sits right at the edge of town looking down or it but has a walking trail that only takes 5 minutes to get down there. On the backside is the edge of the mountains so you can pick which porch you want to sit on for a mountain or town/Mountain View! The house was very clean and everything worked well. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms are very spacious. Sabrina didn’t have an extensive list of things that needed done before checkout so that is a big plus on a travel day! We would definitely stay at her place again!!

Beautiful view

This was a beautiful home and just right for us and our adult children/partners. Beautiful views and within walking distance of Elk St (although the trail is steep). We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Crested Butte Home

I had the pleasure of staying at Sabrina’s property with a group of friends. The home is unique in that it really gives you the best of both worlds; proximity to downtown (a short walk) and sweeping views of the pristine natural beauty of Crested Butte. The home was clean and well-equipped, and Sabrina’s communication was top notch. Definitely plan to return!

Best so far

We loved the house. People loved walking down into town. Great layout. A few bumps and scrapes on the property but we didn’t care. The door handle to the center bedroom doesn’t work anymore. Needs adjustment. The internet on the tv wouldn’t connect. No big deal we had phones. We weren’t sure on the checkout process. I hope we didn’t do something wrong or bad. Would recommend and stay again. Very nice stay.

Beautiful house and amazing scenery

This house exceeded out expectations in every way. It was clean, well stocked, fantastic location. Our view of the mountains on one side and the Aspens (turning firey yellow) on the other side. Very relaxing and enjoyable setting!
