The apartment was perfect for me. I was taking a class nearby so I did not spend a lot of time at the apartment but enjoyed it when i was there. The bed was very comfortable. I live in a similar setting so I felt right at home.

A lovely hideaway in Sister Bay

Check in was seamless, and the kitchen made us wish we had planned to do more eating in during our short stay. Mariana is a wonderful host and the place is beautiful, useful & cozy. We hope to stay there again.

Beautiful Sister Bay Stay

Absolutely love this home. CLEAN AND COZY! Quiet location in beautiful private setting. Full kitchen and bath fully stocked with all amenities. Gracious Hostess onsite to meet every request. Highly recommend!

Quaint home in idyllic setting

This is an adorable apartment above a private home. We were very comfortable there. We wish the bed had been a queen bed, but we may do. Also, the kitchen could use some updating, but it is completely functional. We would definitely stay there again. The price was very reasonable for what we got.

Quiet Treasure

Totally charming venue. Impeccably kept, clean, bright and lots of fresh air. Next to a large orchard off the main highway. Quiet and relaxing while being just minutes away from Sister Bay. Ferry to Washington island is only 15 minutes away. We did much biking. Can’t say enough positive about this place.

We loved staying here! The setting is so peaceful and beautiful, nestled between an orchard and a forest. The apartment itself is perfectly simple with a touch of nostalgia. All around a wonderful landing spot for Door Co adventures!

Wonderful stay

We received a clear, welcoming text about checking in. When we arrived, we were so happy to see we had a place that was close to all the activities we had planned, a safe space to stay, and a place for the kids to play outside when we were unloading and loading the car. We had everything we could have needed inside, and it was so clean and roomy/ comfortable. I would totally recommend staying with Mariana!

Great Door County Nook

This is a cozy upstairs apartment with a kitchen, two bedrooms, and one full bathroom - all were clean and comfortable. The property is off any main road but not completely isolated, so there’s peace and quiet while remaining connected to the heart of Door County. The owner live on-site in the lower level and do have a dog. They were encountered only in passing and were very friendly and accommodating; the dog was quiet and definitely not a bother if that would be a concern. Overall, this was a great find for the weekend and we were very happy!

Perfect, quiet spot for getaway for two

Quick three-night getaway and this place hit the spot. Super cute apartment, more than enough room, very quiet location, loved the deck on the back and the serenity of being away from town - but only five minutes. Lovely owner, terrific visit.

Beautiful, quiet, great kitchen, perfect location for a few days of exploring. This is not a motel, hotel, or B&B and that's what we wanted. We will stay again.

Unfortunately, our stay was not great. The host was wonderful. She was responsive & kind. This is just solely a review on the conditions of the accommodations & Evolve Vacation Rental. Upon arrival, everything seemed neat & tidy until we noticed dust, leftover hair ties, hair in the shower, broken bulb on string lights, & dirty dishes in the cabinets. We also experienced a mice encounter which nerved us as our children were sleeping on the floor in pack n plays. The internet was not working so we couldn't enjoy a family movie. It also would have been nice to know there would be animals on the premise.

As advertised, great location!

We decided on a whim to get a VRBO for a few days to escape with our children to Sister Bay, a place I have fond memories of visiting every summer as a child. It's been about 20 years since I've visited, but I hoped it would be the same charming place from my youth. Luckily, it was! We had a great time and our VRBO was instrumental in that it came exactly as advertised and we didn't have to worry about any surprises. Check-in/out was very easy. The unit, the upstairs floor of a nice home, was clean upon arrival. Great location just outside of DT Sister Bay, a quick bike ride and quicker drive. Plenty of towels for both bath and beach. All aplliances worked as intended, and there was propane for the grill. Slept 4 easily with skds bed. Owner was very responsive, and very pleasant in person. She lives in the home below but was very unobtrusive and as I said extremely pleasant when we encountered her, always inquiring if there was anything she could do to make our stay better. Her dog Igor is amazing, and she let our curious kids chase and pet him. Thank you!

Quiet with a view

We had an excellent stay for a short vacation. Close to everything. Several nice amenities. Very clean and nicely decorated. Love the cottage feel to it. The outside deck is the right size for coffee in the morning watching the birds in the woods on one side and apple orchard on the other. Super quiet and tranquil. Was nice to have a place close to the sites but far enough away from the tourists in Sister Bay.

Very nice

A nice apartment on a quiet street. Well located for the upper part of Door County. Clean and well equipped kitchen for our needs. The deck was awesome. There is a TV, but no service. There are provisions for 6 but, the sixth would be an inflatable bed with no good place to put it. 5 would be the max for comfort, as one bed is a twin. Owner has put a lot of effort to make apartment comfortable and homelike.
