This residence is nestled in Araby Cove, a quiet and serene neighborhood located in South Palm Springs just below the prestigious Southridge Estates. •We do allow pets, however, all animal friends must be pre-approved and require a $250 non refundable pet fee per animal. Non approved pets and or guests over the maximum amount allowed will be charged and may be subject to eviction from the property.

•As a guest in the City of Palm Springs property, guests will be required to submit a copy of their photo ID [contract signer must be 25 years of age or older], a signed rental agreement, and a signed copy of Palm Springs Rules and Regulations.

•No subletting the property. Only registered and confirmed guests may stay at the property. Violations of this policy will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of any rental monies. Local PS rules require that only the individual approved on VRBO and or any other rental source will be the first allowed entry at initial check in to the property. All other guests must enter only after the above mentioned has checked in and registered with the house manager. This is a strict rule that will be enforced. Thank you for understanding as this is a special estate. In addition weekly discounts can not be combined with any other discount.

•PLEASE DO NOT MOVE OUTDOOR FURNITURE OR PLACE UMBRELLAS NEAR THE WINDOWS.

•Villa Araby is a smart home so the garage will alert us if the door has been left open for any length of time. We keep golf clubs and other important items in the garage so when you leave the home we appreciate that you use the garage door clicker to shut the door immediately when coming and going. The garage should also remain shut to keep the house cool. Thank you for your consideration.

•Owner policy to keep doors that open to the outside closed as much as possible, as there are scorpions and snakes in the area. It can also damage the air conditioning system. Please keep this in mind to keep the house cool during the day.

•Because Villa Araby is on the hillside we share space with bobcats, coyotes, scorpions, snakes and fire ants. Scorpions and snakes do live in the area and frankly prefer to not be around humans so in the rare instance you see one it is best to avoid them. (Do not leave your animals unattended, especially at night)

•Encountering a scorpion on your property can be distressing, but knowing where you may find one can help save you and your loved ones from a painful sting. One of the most common hideouts for scorpions is shoes, as they typically look for warm areas. It is recommended you shake your shoes out before putting them back on.


•The pool/spa fee is $75 per day. The pool is maintained at 90 degrees, and the spa is just a text away. Text 'spa' when you'd like it turned on. Please allow 45 minutes for it to reach the maximum temperature. Once you've completed your time in the spa, please text 'pool' to initiate the switch, allowing the pumps to resume heating the pool. We appreciate if you turn off the fireplace and bbq grill after use. Trying to adjust pool equipment will result in eviction.


•Extended stays require a mid-month cleaning by our professional cleaners to keep the house in prestigious condition.

•City's quiet hours are from 10pm - 10am.


•Fire extinguishers located in Kitchen, Master Bedroom & BBQ Area.

•$100 charge for lost garage remote

•$100 charge if the outdoor windows get splashed with pool water. The hard chlorinated water baked by the hot sun makes it extremely difficult to clean. We want our guests to enjoy the spectacular views day and night. Please know it takes a lot of effort to splash the windows because the pool is so far, however we’ve had a couple spirited guests :)

•During the months of May through September Palm Springs enjoys some very warm days and nights so we appreciate guests helping us keeping the estate cool. There is a very easy solution. Keeping the doors and garage shut and window shades down in certain areas prevent the house from getting uncomfortable during the warmer months.

•If you have children please keep them from climbing the trees as the majestic olive trees have been damaged in the past. They add a special touch to the Villa and it’s important to keep this beauty for guests for years to come.

•Another thing to note is for those booking Spring and Fall the gardener scalps the lawn and re-seeds the lawn so those prone to allergies come prepared. (Some are affected some aren’t)

•In order to keep the garden, pool and surrounding landscape in pristine condition we have weekly visits from pool and gardner. Guests can not interfere or keep the workers from completing their work.
We take great pride in keeping this house and it’s surroundings beautiful, so having weekly visiting is a necessity.

•In case of bad weather conditions they might have to come in addition to the listed days.
Please confirm that you are okay with this before booking this home.

•Dear guests please understand that when the pool cleaner comes you must remove everyone from the pool and spa while he does his treatment. Please stay out of the pool for 40 minutes after he’s treated the water with chemicals.

Perfect Estate for Palm Springs Getaway
We stayed at Villa Araby for mid-winter break in February and the property exceeded our expectations. We traveled with two families (4 adults and 4 kids/teens) and there was plenty of room in the house for sleeping, hanging out and dining - both inside and outside. Every room in the house was beautifully decorated, everything was clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals and the garage had outdoor games and yoga mats which we made use of. We spent lots of time in the heated pool and hottub - the grounds and pool/spa were all well taken care of. When we had questions, the property manager and house representative were very prompt in replying to text messages. There is nothing I would have changed about our stay and we look forward to visiting again! I highly recommend Villa Araby if it's on your list of consideration.

Exceptional property and location; perfect for family retreat
Our three generational bi-coastal family of ten enjoyed a relaxed and reinvigorating week at this beautiful, exceptionally well-maintained property nestled in the foothills adjacent to the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument and featuring spectacular views of the foothills, San Gorgonio Mountain, and Palm Springs. Comfortable furnishings indoors and outdoors, large grassy area for children to play; terrific kitchen with top-notch appliances; sunny breakfast room and spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas. House designed to facilitate privacy as well as all-family gatherings. Easy access to hiking trails and to central PS. Owner and property manager incredibly attentive to pool and spa heating hiccups. Did not see any big horn sheep--perhaps next time?

Great Getaway
We needed a close get away from SoCal during Christmas break, and Palm Springs was a ideal choice. Unfortunately we hit some harsh weather, but a lovely place to stay made up for it. Araby was well equipped with all necessities; the kitchen even had an air fryer. There were ample towels. The heated pool and spa (although the jets did not work) were wonderful. The entire home had interesting eclectic decor. There were special accents for the Holidays as well. The bedrooms were well furnished with cozy bedding. There was even a fresh cut long stem rose arrangement. It made for a wonderful get-away. Thank you!
