Authentic log chalet serene and secluded with outdoor spa

Manuka Lodge is the best hidden treasure ever! Tucked away in a dead end road surrounded by native bush this characteristic log chalet offers superb privacy. It has an outdoor spa and 2 large sunny decks with rustic furniture. Manuka Lodge is often used for wedding nights for it’s romantic and secluded location.

Manuka lodge is a pearl of a log cabin… with all the luxuries supplied from outdoor spa to dishwasher and a fantastic DVD selection to relax by on a rainy day. The living area is not big but cozy with a logfire and built-in fireguard. The chalet has a well equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, stove, big fridge/freezer etc. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a comfortable queensize bed and an extra ‘gaming’TV.

A second small bedroom offers a double bed. On the open mezzanine are a double, a single and a trundler. Manuka lodge can handle 6 adults max – just let us know if you want to bring children (max 3). The mezzanine opens up to a balcony, a great place to have your morning coffee.

The outdoor deck area is absolutely superb with, besides the spa, a rustic macracarpa table and bench and on the far deck another modern diningtable. 2 comfortable cape cod chairs can make you dream away… Plenty of space for sunbathing, just surrounded by private bush. Note that the spa is a bonus but not a given (due to unforseen circumstances it is not always operational). A track takes you down to Lulu’s creek – great for a little play on a hot day.

The fireguard and stairgates make this chalet very childfriendly.

Your group will have exclusive use of the lodge during your stay.
