Just 3-minute drive to the local cafes and restaurants. Or to really make the trip memorable, Te Anau is the 'Gateway to Fiordland' so make sure you visit Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound or any of the local activities including the Kepler Track, lake cruising, fishing, Glowworm caves and a bird sanctuary.
