WELCOME TO SAIDA TOWERS
Welcome to Saida Towers, South Padre Island's premier beachfront social resort. It has 3 pools, 3 hot tubs, a kiddie pool, an outdoor drink and snack bar, tennis courts, a shuffleboard court, and direct beach access. All this is wrapped in tropical grounds bordered by award-winning restored dunes and white-sand beaches. Seasonally, there are on-site rentals for tennis and shuffleboard equipment and chair and umbrella rentals on the sand. Saida Towers is within walking distance of shopping centers, restaurants, and activities. Saida Towers has everything you look for in a beachfront resort rental.

-This rental is family-friendly and non-smoking.
-Professionally laundered and sanitized linens may be exchanged for free on the east side of our off-site Guest Welcome Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
-Laundry detergent and sofa sleeper linens are available upon request at our off-site Guest Welcome Center.

RESORT FEES
All reservations with stay dates from March 4th to April 4th require a one-time per-person Resort Fee of $33.
The Resort Fee is required for all guests from 10 years of age to 32.
Guests aged 9 and under are exempt.
Guests aged 33 and older are exempt.
Please notify us of the number of guests in your group for whom the resort fee will apply.
The resort fee will be applied to the reservation and paid with the final payment 30 days before arrival.
The Resort Fee does not apply to any other time of the year.

Very polite and accomodating rental agency. Unit perfect for our stay. We left a phone behind and were contacted immediately so were able to retrieve ir before flying home. Beautiful beach location. Unit had a well appointed kitchen. Pools were fantastic.

Amazing covered patio that gave us the Perfect second story view of the beach! Couldn’t have been happier with this property. Plenty of room and felt very safe and comfortable!

Review

I was told online & in person there was a sofa bed & there was not one. Kitchen pans at least 3 need replacing. Only 3 out if the 4 tvs worked, after 3 maintenance attempts. Otherwise beautiful place.

Great location doesn't make up for dated sparse condo with dirty bedding

This was our second stay in this condo, and unfortunately it will be our last despite the incredible location on the property. I'll find another condo in the same building that's better stocked and kept up to date, and with owners who pay attention to reviews and update things as needed. While this condo was not lacking anything major, kitchen items were dull, rusty, and slim picking (no ice cream scoop, not a single clip for a bag, cheap flimsy cooking utensils, etc). A couple simple beach chairs would've been nice, but none. We immediately noticed that the bed comforters were GROSS. Our son's comforter had dried blood on it, and the comforter in the master bedroom had something on it that I'm not even going to detail here. Besides being decades old, they clearly had not been washed. I pulled down what appeared to be a spare comforter in a closet, and that one had makeup stains on it. Padre Island Rentals manages this condo, and to their credit they responded immediately to the issues I brought to their attention. But when paying over 2k for a week, I don't want to deal with dirty bedding or burned out fridge bulbs or toilets that won't quit running on my vacation. A minimal investment in better, updated furnishings and even just a few basic beach items - coupled with washed comforters - would make this condo a 5 star place! And for Pete's sake, update the balcony furniture already. It's made of PVC pipe and ratty, torn in places, and terribly uncomfortable.

Excellent location, grounds, condo

The location of this condo is excellent! Second floor, looking out over one of the pools and the ocean beyond, you can't beat it. My husband and I brought our 5 kids from 11 to 17 for spring break. We played pickleball & tennis every day, played in the pools, and had fun on the beach. They have tennis rackets/balls you can borrow. The property is well maintained, maintenance and security personnel visible. Plenty of parking & pool chairs, hardly ever waited for a tennis court. So nice having a few shops and restaurants within walking distance (Tropical Smoothie, Italian, pizza, sushi, ice cream/gelato, beach gear, etc). Condo itself is very spacious, comfortable. It was clean, had all the most basic items. The big balcony was a favorite spot for sunrise coffee, reading, etc. Washer/dryer IN the unit is an absolute must. If you've never come to SPI before, the humid climate means towels and bathing suits don't dry overnight when laid out, thus we always rent a condo with a dryer. A few things could make this condo the best on the island: the master bed (king) is indented on both sides and not comfortable. Time to replace it. The balcony furniture is uncomfortable; needs updating. A few covered containers in the kitchen for leftovers (Tupperware) would've been nice. A small cooler would've been nice; a beach basic that should be there for guests. Be nice if they'd leave beach items that guests left behind, like boogie boards, sand toys, etc. Sad to toss those out.

Great property and location! A/C wasn’t working the first day/night but we called management on day 2 and maintenance came out and fixed the problem. The mattresses were uncomfortable and loud.

Mom and Aunts Beach Trip

This trip was designed for my aunts (65,68,86,88 years of age). The unit we stayed in was on the 2nd floor and was absolutely perfect! Beautifully decorated and bathrooms had handicap rails -which was a plus for my elderly aunts. The balcony is large and has an incredible view of the pool area and beach. Saida 1 is a lovely property with easy beach access. I highly recommend this unit for your next vacation stay!

The property was nice and clean. Loved it!

The process was very simple and easy. I tried to do the app and online check-in. Didn't seem to work. Tried to avoid the rental center. Little ant "like" creatures appeared on all kitchen and bathroom counter tops as well as panty. I didn't want to waste my time with calling and / or the chemicals during my stay. Other than nat ants all was well!!
