Considerations

La Casa Lakeside Cottage Resort is accessed via Westside Road. It is a winding drive hugging the shores of lake Okanagan. Some drivers find parts of this road daunting.

Downtown Kelowna is a 35 minute drive from the resort as is downtown Vernon.

While there is a small convenience store at the resort, prices are higher. We would suggest doing your grocery and liquor shopping beforehand. Alternatively, Save-on-Foods does deliver wine and food to the resort for a small fee.

The beach is rocky. This cannot be changed because there are salmon spawning grounds nearby. We would suggest bringing along some water shoes for your stay.

The complex is built up a hill. While this allows for some stunning views, be prepared for a good leg workout if you choose to walk the resort, rather than using your vehicle. Golf cart rentals ARE available. Please let us know if you are interested ahead of time and we can try to help arrange one while you are here!

Because this is a whole house rental, cleaning services are not available mid-stay. You are responsible for removing garbage from the home at the end of your stay and from time to time during your stay so as not to attract vermin or bugs.

There are check-out procedures that guests are expected to do prior to their departure. Instructions are as follows:
* All trash & recycling MUST be taken to the garbage disposal area located down on Barcelona Drive
* Load dishwasher & run it
* Clean any pots and pans that were used
* Ensure BBQ is off and has been cleaned

This is our second stay at Paradise Views and enjoyed it just as much as the previous time. The house is well laid out with wonderful décor, plus you get views from every level. The owner is friendly, organized, and responsive. Overall, a great place to stay!

Great family layout

Stunning lake views is right. Coffee in the morning looking out on the lake, ending the day with a glass of wine watching the lights twinkle and listening to the crickets. Such a treat. The layout of the house was perfect for our family and it is just beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked the just about everything we needed. I will dream about the kitchen island until we visit again. Not to mention all the recent upgrades that the strata has made to the beach and the lake amenities. La Casa has always been a lovely retreat for my family, I will absolutely return to this house if Anita will have us.

Summer vacation

It was a great vacation all around. House is everything we expected and more (the view of the lake and mountains was outstanding). Would have given location 5 stars except we didn’t like the winding drive into Kelowna. Other than that wonderful home. Kids also loved the Wibit.

Luxurious vacation with high end amenities

The place was immaculate and filled with only luxury items. Comfortable beds, top of the line appliances, games for the whole family, a surf board and life jackets for the water... and more...The kitchen is fully equipped allowing us to have plenty of dishes for our visitors. Hope to be back soon!

Splendid

Wonderful cabin, obviously the view is sublime, the cabin itself is very nicely decorated, kitchen is fully equipped. We had a relaxing few days and are looking forward to a repeat!

Breathtaking views

Property was exactly as how I imagined and pictures were accurate. Every morning we woke up to breathtaking views. Location is a little more further out from Kelowna, however we chose this location because of the distance. Anita was super accommodating and very easy to communicate with. One thing I will mention is that the drive is up the side of a curvy mountain with single lanes. May not be ideal for the winter months. The amenities were also great, there’s mini golf, tennis, swimming pools and hot tubs which we thoroughly enjoyed. There’s also a littler store nearby the cantina which has some foods, liquor & essentials you can buy if you forgot to pack anything. Pizzas were tasty along with the cheese smokies. I highly recommend this place as long as you are okay to drive up. We would definitely come back!

Best of the cottages!

From beginning to end our stay was lovely with no hiccups. The house was very pretty and clean can’t recommend enough will definitely be staying again. Nights at the gas fire place on the oversized sectional sofa over looking the amazing water views were one of the highlights!

Great views. Newly built property.

Amazing place to stay. Kitchen is fully equipped. Wash rooms had shampoos and body wash . Minor hiccup garbage bins are good 10 minutes walk. I believe due to construction in the neighbourhood.Owner is very responsive and got back to us immediately with all answers.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful property perfect for our family of 8 plus pets. Wonderful views, close to small green space for dogs and down the hill to the designated dog friendly lake. Our adult girls enjoyed the beach and it’s inflatable toys, $30 SUP rental for the day and playing pickle ball in the morning. The interior of the home and its contents were high end and kitchen was fully supplied with the neccissities. We enjoyed our vacation

Excellent resort

This place has breathtaking views that really makes you jump right into vacation mode the moment you step into the house. The 3 balcony is definitely perfect for enjoying the lake views. The resort amenities were very busy, there's always a crowd in the main area at all times so we didn't really enjoy it as much. But it's a busy resort with tons of families on summer vacation. The kids really enjoy the water activities down at the lake however one day those who went into the water came out with a bad itch that lasted a few hours so I'm not sure what happened in the lake. The house itself is gorgeous with very equipped kitchen for cooking as the location of the resort is quite far away from town. It takes about 35-40 mins to get to kelowna, the bridge heading towards downtown kelowna from the west side always have traffic during the day so that adds to the travel time. The only minor complaint I have is the house is very bright all around with sky lights and big windows. So there's no way to make the house dark for sleeping in past 7am because the sun really lights up the house especially the loft. So bring extra covers to shade the windows if you want to sleep in for your vacation! Thanks for hosting!

Needed a weekend away with my girlfriends before my wedding and it was SO relaxing! Host was quick to respond and very friendly. Easily one of the nicest VRBO’s I’ve stayed in. We will be looking to come back!

Very clean and spacious

The property is exactly like the photos, everything was clean and the views were amazing! There were enough towels, chairs, and kitchen equipment for our group of 8 people, and we loved the volleyball and hot tub/pool area in the resort. Anita was a very easy host to communicate with and we would definitely stay here again the next time we visit!

Real Gem

This home was a great property to rent for our family vacation. Six adults, a 4 year old and a 9 month old. Anita was helpful and accomodating. Everything was easy. Beautiful home in a beautiful location. The marina was fun. We dipped into the Okanagan for some refreshing October swims. Hiked the steps at Fintry Waterfalls. Hung out on the decks and watched the view. Enjoyed the fire table. The beds and bedding were 'high grade hotel' quality and the kitchen turned one daughter into 'Martha' overnight. Heck yah...I recommend.

Beautiful Cottage in Fintry

Loved our Vrbo! Anita was fantastic, she was great to communicate with. The cottage was like new, with beautiful scenic views, in a convenient all inclusive resort. The kids loved the pool, they made many friends, the adults loved the deck that over looked the water. We would love to come back and enjoy another week away with our family!

Amazing experience

This property is everything it shows and more. It's stocked very well, it's comfortable and it has great resort amenities. Our family really enjoyed the lake, the pool, the mini golf and the tennis courts. Is a little far from downtown Kelowna but if you go grocery shopping before your arrival, there is really no reason to leave this beautiful resort. Anita, the host, is incredible, very communicative and attentive. The property is beautiful, renovated and super comfortable. We live in the Lower Mainland, but have been visiting La Casa Resort for more than 12 years. We have loved it here so much we decided we needed to build our own little piece of heaven! We are now so very excited to share our cottage with you!

La Casa Resort is a premium gated community, outside of the hustle and bustle of Kelowna. Its a place where our kids and grandkids can play safely using so many of the Resorts wonderful amenities!

We are right in the middle of everything! There's so much to see and do, you never need to leave the Resort!

Access to the back country is located either at Terrazona or Barcelona Dr. Imagine being able to dirt bike, quad, mountain bike (or ski doo!) right from your front door! The trails link up with the Bear Creek Trail system offering literally hundreds of miles of back country to explore and enjoy!
