Channel Marker 106 - Oceanfront in Surfside Beach

Can't wait to be by the shore? Channel Marker 106 is ready for you to enjoy. This direct ocean front first floor Surfside Beach condominium offers all the comforts of home and then some. Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed. There's a king in the master with a walk-in shower and a set of double bunks in the 2nd bedroom. The 2nd bath is accessed off the hall and has a tub/shower combo.

Channel Marker condominiums are all ocean front with 1-2 bedrooms and 1-2 baths, located at 1317 South Ocean Blvd. Ocean front swimming pool open Easter/April 1 to October 1. Picnic area with grill. Each unit features central air, full kitchens, living-dining area, TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and private balcony. Parking is limited. Two parking permits are issued per condo unit. Motorcycles are allowed. No golf carts or trailers.

Kitchen was not as well equipped as most that I’ve stayed in in this area. If there were any beach chairs we couldn’t find them. The TVs and Wi-Fi was the best I’ve encountered in this area.

Nice property but management just ok

Listing did not have any check-in information so I kept waiting for a door code to be sent. Property managers did not ever respond to my message. Upon calling I found out we were to be at their office the next beach over for check-in. Since we weren't there by 6:00 keys were left in a box outside. When we entered the condo the smell of Pine Sol was STRONG so if that bothers you don't stay here. Property seemed clean enough. Toilet paper was one ply, first world problems I know, but that was disappointing. Showers had great water pressure for rinsing long hair. One of the toilets had no water to it so it couldn't be used. I'm not sure why cleaners didn't catch this and we weren't informed. So everyone used the bathroom in the master bedroom. Overall a good stay even with poor management communication.

Beautiful Week

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in Surfside in this condo. The condo was well-appointed and clean. The condo is right on the beach with a beautiful view. We would rent this condo again.

Cleaning company needs to do better

The only complaint I have is that this condo needs a deep cleaning! I was cleaning dust and dirt in the bathroom, disgusting!

Relaxing week at Gone Coastal!

Great location right on the beach! Nicely decorated condo is on first floor, so not too many stairs to climb when unloading all of your vacation/beach gear. We’ve rented houses and condos many times in Surfside, and this one definitely makes our “would stay here again” list!

Awesome beach stay

The property was well maintained and being so close to the beach was paradise. The area in general is much cleaner Myrtle Beach!

Family fun vacation.

Very comfortable and warm. Great view. All amenities were great. The use of the televisions were rather difficult. Very confusing.

Nice Oceanfront Condo

We enjoyed our stay at this nice oceanfront condo. The unit seemed newly renovated within the past year. All of the paint, furniture, appliances, bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, seemed updated. It met our needs for the week. The only downfall/area of improvement could be the initial cleanliness. When we arrived, there was dirt/dust/crumbs on the floor and we had to re-sweep and scrub the floor whenever we arrived. There was also a very strong musty odor to the unit. So much so that we had to go out and buy air fresheners to use during our stay. This should be addressed by the owners/management company as the musty smell was overwhelming. Aside from that our stay was great and everything went smoothly from check in to check out.

Great Stay!

Channel Marker 106 exceeded our expectations! The unit was nicely decorated and everything was fresh and clean. The bathrooms appeared to be recently remodeled and the appliances new. The ocean view is spectacular and access to the beach easy. My wife and I highly recommend Channel Marker 106.
