Winter Escape

We loved our time in this home! It had everything we needed and was close to many different attractions like indoor water parks and skiing! As it was February we did not take advantage of the multiple lakes and playgrounds but you won’t regret booking this home!

Very cozy and pleasant stay

Very cozy, pleasant house close to the lake and 20 mins drive to three ski mountains (Camelback, Big Boulder and Jack Frost). Very clean house with seamless check-in and detailed instructions. Excellent communication with owner and manager. House has three bedrooms, spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, separate dining area and separate sitting room. Would love to stay here again.

Nice community

Locust lake village is wonderful. The lakes, beaches, trails are beautiful. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies and made it easy for us to cook and enjoy family meals. The only downfall was the beds, if you have a topper you can bring I would recommend it. Other that that everything was enjoyable.

Nancy's home was very comfortable and inviting. There was plenty of parking, if we'd needed it, and the fireplace was amazing in that it would turn itself off when the correct temperature was reached. The property manager was quick to respond when we called her late at night on our arrival day, as we were having some difficulty with the lock. The kitchen was well stocked, allowing us to cook during our time there. Of course, the location was beautiful as well. Thank you again for opening your home to us!

We had such a good time. I loved your groovy couch. The puzzle someone started was totally not correct so we started it over, didn't get it all done. The house was so nice. The kitchen was a chefs kitchen. Saw so many deer with tiny babies. Thank you for Allowing us to rent your home.

Weekend Getaway

My family has 3+ people that have January birthdays so we decided to go to the poconos to celebrate. We didnt want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. We stayed at the house from Friday night (the office was not open when we arrived) until sunday morning. Tbe house was the perfect size for 2 couples, added adult, and toddler. (We brought a tot cot) the kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated the different seating options. We found a majority of the missing puzzle pieces for the next people! The house does have a musty smell like some of the others indicated. Overall the house is great for a quick get away. Close to a lot of activities. I would not recommend the irish bar. Each of us got something different and all 6 of us didnt finish our food...and we have some foodies in the group.

Locust Lake Village

The area was beautiful and so quiet. Loved the lakes and beach areas. The house was fine and the kitchen was good, but the TV remotes gave us problems. All in all, it was a very nice stay.

40th Anniversary get away.

It was the perfect place and location to get away to. It was quiet, so for the first time in over a year we concentrated on each other instead of all the other distractions. The house was clean and well stocked. The sunroom and the fireplace are awesome. The caretakers were friendly and eager to explain how to light the fireplace

Everything fine except for the musty smell

The property was clean and is in a good, safe community. However, and this why I am giving it a 3-star, there was a massive musty smell in the entire house. We thought we were going to fall sick the first night (we stayed two nights). We even considered cutting short our stay due to the smell. We didn't see any mold or mildew but the house was damp and musty. It got better by the second day but I strongly request the owners to do something about it before the next guests arrive. It is not correct to offer a house with that extreme a smell. Other than that, everything else was fine at this place.

Vacation

We we’re disappointed with the house. There was a musty smell to the whole house, either mildew or mold. The enclosed porch was not useable due to the oder. We slept in the second bedroom because the bed in the master bedroom was terrible.

Very nice and clean, makes you feel like your at home. I would definitely stay there again. Deer come right up to the house. Lake is walking distance.

Short two day stay

We ended up staying only one night because there was very strong storms coming in the second day both in Pennsylvania and in New Jersey where we reside. Had a great time taking the dogs to the lake swimming they had a great time too. we stayed overnight and then left in the morning due To some very strong storms coming in.

Nice weekend at Pocono Lake, PA.

The property is very nice and quiet. It has everything you need to feel like you are home. The grill outside was not available. That would be the only thing that was just not available, that being said, it was a windy and rainy weekend so we couldn't grill, if we wanted. This house has an awesome fireplace and a very comfortable and cozy sun room and a screened porch.

overall worked well with our dogs

We had a mix of weather, rain, snow, and sunny. I really liked that there is a side entrance into a 3 season room to bring the dogs in and wipe them down. Lots of beautiful deer right in the area to see up close. Kitchen was obviously updated with a great refrigerator, stove, etc. If you go when it's cold, you will LOVE the instant start/stop fireplace!

Very relaxing

My husband and I spent a long weekend at this home. The community itself that the home was located on was beautiful. The people and office staff were very nice and pleasurable. The home location was very good also. Close to many things to do. The home itself was pleasant and quiet which is exactly what we were looking for. Nancy the owner was wondering and always responded to any questions I had. The kitchen is beautiful. Everything worked in the home and we had no issues with checking in or checking out I would definitely stay there again. Thanks Nancy and evolve.
