Modern Cottages with Prime Canyon Lake Access

Welcome to Millie’s Waterfront - Mehta. Cottages maintain their original 1970’s charm, now transformed into contemporary, comfortable gems with the best lakefront views in all of Canyon Lake.

Spring 2024: Canyon Lake levels are at a historic low and lake access from Millie's is limited. Please visit the MyCanyonLake website for more information under the category of lakes and rivers.

Creature comforts include:
· Queen bed and a full over queen bunk bed (sleeps 6)
· Living area with dining table, couch, WiFi, Smart TV (bring your logins), games, puzzles, books, etc.
· A cozy kitchen including Galanz fridge/freezer, electric range/oven, microwave, coffee maker (of course), blender, toaster, dishes, drinkware, flatware, knives, cooking tools, bakeware, pot holders, BBQ tools, dish soap, first aid kit, and more. Customized Yeti cups are available for purchase if you’d like to take Millie’s home with you.
· Beautiful, full bath – including towels, hairdryers, and bathing suit hangers.
· Outdoor seating area including a charcoal BBQ pit (BYO - meat, veggies, charcoal and lighter fluid), picnic table, and chairs.
· Lake access including 1 wagon/cottage and beach towels.
· Parking – 2 cars/cottage or 1 car and a boat maximum.
· Proximity to Canyon Lake Boat Ramp #17, Canyon Lake Dam, Brookshire Brothers Grocery, Gruene, shopping, restaurants, watercraft rentals and more.

As the property boasts the perfect combination of convenience and seclusion, wild things abound. We’ve seen those that slither, sting, stink, spray and graze so be aware of your surroundings and who you share it with.

Speaking of sharing – there will be other guests on the property with you. While Millie’s is the perfect place to social distance, there are some shared spaces (ex: the path to the lake).

*The health and safety of our guests is paramount. Cleanliness is always our top priority. We offer a 24 hour guest service contact number for emergencies and messages will be answered promptly. Arrive after four o’clock when it is convenient for you with an easy and contactless check in and out process for our guests.

The directions to get there and to get in to the cottage were very clear. Everything was clean and very welcoming. It was exactly as advertised. Beautiful spot, easy to access, and just so peaceful.

We been coming to Millie’s for about 10 years this is the lowest I seen the river. However is a beautiful place right now there is water in lake but is very low. The cottage was very dusty my allergies was going crazy this is the reason why we had to drive every day to see the area

Hill Country weekend

Love love love Millie’s!! This is the second time I’ve stayed there and it never disappoints. Clean, cute and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Having deer right outside when we got there was beautiful. Will definitely stay there again!

NOT LIKE ADVERTISING. The picture is not recent. You can not get to the water from these properties. There is no back door and all it is , is mud around the small buildings. You are expected to park on the shoulder of the road, not a problem with one vehicle. We stayed here for 2 nights, 3 girls to float the river. Tiny bathroom with one small mirror and plumbing is poor. Not worth the expense. Just stay in a hotel for this price

Charming cottage

We came to view the eclipse, which, sadly, we didn't see because of cloud cover. But, this cottage practically made up for it. Extremely cute, fun bunk beds for the teens, and a relaxing, beautiful setting. Reminded us a lot of being in Sonoma County back home in CA. Highly recommended!

Water level

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. However, the pics were misleading and it shows the water close by. We were unaware how low the water was and we had to drive to another area to fish. Otherwise it was a beautiful place and the area was so peaceful. The deer were a cherry on top!

The the property was nice, but the shower curtain in the bathroom would not stay up and if he took a shower, the toilet would back up other than that it was a very nice property and we would highly recommend it

Nice quiet retreat in hill country

The property is located near Canyon Lake in a quiet hillside byway. Really cute cottage well stocked with supplies and nice amenities. The children loved the bunk beds in the unit and we had a nice picnic in the backyard. The only confusion was it appeared to have a deck at the back but it turned out to be a different unit. Also, the lake seemed to be further from the property than the pictures showed but that might be because the water receding in winter. Overall really nice good experience. Location is close to new Braunfels, wimberly and Fredericksburgs

Cute place

The property is super cute and seemed recently remodeled. Everything was clean and tidy. Even though there was no water in that part of the lake it was a nice relaxing place to sit and enjoy. Will definitely come back when there is water.

Enjoyed our stay

Great get away with the family. Everything is close by if you are needing anything. Loved the nature experience that was provided by the property loved ti see the wild animals roam at night. Picture was a little deceiving about the water being so close. But I know that due to the weather the water receded a bit. But that is not a show stopper. We enjoyed our stay and will return. Thank you for the great accommodations.

I booked this cottage as a birthday present for my husband. He told me it was the best birthday gift ever! The cottage was perfect and the property gorgeous. The deer were an added surprise! We will absolutely be back!

Coming back every summer

This place was the best. Lake access, near boat ramp, private quiet beach, the cabin was modern, had everything you needed including a Bluetooth speaker for outside and board games for family time. Great price great location close to store, food and activities.

A Pleasant Surprise

The pictures on the website do not do the property justice. The cottage is very cozy and simple to navigate. The view of the lake from the property is spectacular. The lake is accessible via a short walk down a hill. We went during a cold weekend and the heat is more than adequate to keep us warm. There was nothing we were wanting for, just make sure you bring what you would normally bring to make yourself comfortable. I would easily book a weekend here again.

Very relaxing and great view

We really enjoyed the house and the property. Very easy access to a boat ramp. Easy check-in. Saw a lot of deer and fox. A great getaway!

Great place on the lake!

This place is great for a lake trip! My fiance and I hung out for a week, brought kayaks, and enjoyed the lake (and nearby Guadalupe river). The house is great - stocked with all the basics, a charcoal grill, and more. It's a short walk down to the water, with a beach. We had a great time and will plan to be back next summer!

The Lake is Great to Swim and Enjoy

Best part of our stay was simply cooling off in the lake and enjoying the clean beautiful water. Around the corner is a boat launch so it's not to busy but enough action nearby to enjoy watching boaters too Our first time in Canyon Lake...just great
