Family vacation

This was our time as family, to relax, regroup and share. We absolutely loved the house, the beach and the area. The weather was a little iffy at times but we still managed to enjoy as much of the area as possible. This was a wonderful time for us and we will definitely be back!

Great place!

We had a wonderful time! We had two families plus friends and it was the perfect spot. We could walk to Waves, which is a convenient store. There is also a walkable restaurant or pick up seafood to go. The pool is a good size and walk to the beach. Highly recommend! Would return again!

Perfect on Beach

It’s perfect on the beach location with private pool. Clean place. Only suggestion is at least provide a couple small beach chairs and umbrella as the property doesn’t provide anything but the very basics. It states in the description but properly should reconsider since it’s literally on the beach.

Great time and location!

This house had plenty of room for our group of 10. It was easy to get to and the beach-front location was perfect! The beach in front of the property was clean, only a few steps from the house and was not crowded for a peak season visit. The pool was clean and the neighbors we shared it with were very accomodating.

Family get away

The house was great. Plenty of space, good amount of dishes, well maintained. The house is kid friendly, although could add some gates from porch to pool. The bottom stair broke going to the pool and maintenance came within 10 mins to repair. When we arrived the cleaners were still there and thankfully, because the code didn’t work at first. The house could use some updated mattresses. That’s the only negative comment from me. Overall the house met every need we had was a great space and a great place to vacation.

Family vacation

Our family had a wonderful time. Location was great. The house itself was clean on the inside, but the outside was a little rundown. There was a spindle missing at the top of the outdoor stairs. We had to put something in front of it for safety purposes, since we had small children with us. Beautiful view, and we saw dolphins almost every morning.

Not what was expected for price….Pool chairs were broken. And pool shower needs a mat to help with sand. Wireless needs updated TVs kept cutting off. Not enough towels for the home. Water pressure in showers not adequate.

Great place, but needs some maintenance!

We just finished our stay at Blue Parrot 3. We had a good time, but you have some maintenance issues. Your pool pump was running almost dry. Luckily, I have a pool and knew that water needed to be added to the pool. There was a lot of over-growth around the gate from the pool to the beach. Shower curtains all had mold on them and made you feel gross. And there were a few cockroaches. We left one in a container so you can prove to your exterminator that their is a problem. However, we would stay again!!

Warning - Clearly understand before you stay

The pictures shown for this property are excellent and very misleading. When we arrived the property was a mess, from construction work and debris everywhere to trash left in the carport and pool area. The inside had a list of problems that we had to resolve during our stay. The pool had not been serviced in weeks and we had to stay out of the pool for a day and a half. We were afraid to get in it because it was so dirty you could not see the bottom in the shallow end. We called management on Friday morning and they sent out the cleaning crew, the maintenance crew and the pool crew. The pool crew had to come on Friday and back again the next morning. We had a tripping hazard that resulted in my father falling at the stairs and we MADE them correct the problem so nobody else would fall. The house is under construction and the vinyl siding is completely off one side of the house and has been for weeks. This is a repair being done by the owners and not in a timely manner. This is a C- house with lots of problems and maintenance needs. Please clearly understand that before you pay these rates. We were highly disappointed in our stay. We were credited a small amount for all the problems but to be honest - the property is just not worth the asking price. The property is beautifully located on the beach and has potential but some serious work is needed. The dishwasher is not working properly so if we used any dishes we had to hand wash them first. The microwave is burned inside and barely works. I could go on and on but you get the point. I read reviews before I book and I read the ones on this property and thought that surely they had addressed the concerns other people posted about. The deep cleaning that is mentioned by several people is STILL needed.
