Very comfortable home away from home. Tastefully decorated and newly furnished with a most comfortable living room set. New dining room set as well. Perfect view of the Gulf from your private balcony and master bedroom. Fully equipped and updated gourmet kitchen. Tile flooring throughout. Flat screenTV's in both bedrooms and living area. Free WIFI/internet. Bed linens and bath towels are provided for up to 6 guests in the condo. Our friendly staff will do their best to accommodate any requests or concerns you may have during your vacation. Please come and enjoy the beautiful beach and soothing warm breezes as well as the local attractions which include John's Pass Village and Boardwalk with its many shops, cafes, restaurants and fishing charters directly across the street from our condos. Coin operated washers and dryers are located on each floor. This is a non- smoking accommodation.

Beach vacation

Very nice condo, close to to the jetty for fishing. Right across from John's pass village. Loved the beach and view.

Great location

For the most part, we loved our stay! We appreciated getting in 2 hours early, but the unit wasn’t very clean. The floors were very dirty and the unit was generally not clean. The lack of lounge chairs by the pool was unfortunate. We still enjoyed ourselves and will be back, but these areas could definitely be improved

Great Location

Pros: The property is in a great location right across the street from Johns Pass. I liked the reserved parking space. It's right on the beach and has a heated pool. Cons: The furnishings could stand to be updated. The walls are thin and you can hear the unit above using bathroom, people out in the hall and traffic noise. Would stay here again for short trip.

It was good.

No early check-in. Was told office would keep our luggage but no office even existed. Wish they had said in the dead there was no beach towels. And all pool/beach stuff was old and rusted.

On the beach with plenty of shops around

The condo is in a perfect location, walk out of the garage, past the pool and straight onto the beach for some beach therapy. I feel the condo needs a little attention as the couch is showing much wear and tear. A dustpan and mop would be great to have in the room as well as at least one extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. I have stayed at a lot of VRBO's and this one is lacking compared to others I've visited. The location is the best part of staying at this condo, if owners would give this place a little TLC it would make for a better stay.

Madeira Beach

Loved the location. Pool was nice. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Condo needs a little updating. Our toilet lid on the back part was off and laying on the floor when we got there and you had to reach in so it didn’t run after flushed and pull the lever up. There was a towel rack that has been broken and taped together. Just feel those things should have been fixed for paying what we paid. In all, it was a good experience and I would return. Just those few things.

Pleasant Stay-Minor Issues

Loved the condo! Have stayed at Sandy Shores several times. Was nice to have two bathrooms. However, the toilet in the master was leaking bad. Water was shooting to the wall! We shut off the water supply to that toilet and building maintenance came and repaired the leak as much as he could. Said shut off valve needs replacing.But we were still able to use it the rest of our stay. Some other minor issues: moldy basket in coffee pot (grounds still in it), missing light bulb in LR lamp, ice machine didn’t work, no button to pull up for shower in master, Enjoyed our stay though! Thank you!

worn down and rodent infested

I booked this space based on the pictures of the unit. The condo is dated and there was sand in what was suppose to be clean sheets. Also, we phone mouse feces along the floor of our unit. The elevator doesn't work half the time. There is always standing water at the gates going to the pool so you have to walk through it every time you are wanting to go to the beach. The shower heads had green mildew growing on the back of them. I would not recommend #406 to anyone. Communication with Management staff is terrible. They will not return your phone calls.

The condo smelled of the cleaner from outside the door. When went in the floor so slippery not wet clean slippery but it felt like they did not even mop but just put some cleaner on the floor without water & dry mopped the cleaner. Our shoes were slipping out from underneath of us. The area by the gate by the pool was constantly dirty with sand & standing water that was green, should have been cleaned daily. The pool area , pavers were sandy all the time like no one ever swept it. The parking underneath looked like it has not been power washed in years. Same with elevator & the outdoor hallways looked dirty & not pressured washed in a while. The beds in the condo were so uncomfortable we actually left a day earlier along with the fact that floors felt so creasy & kept our feet & socks filthy,

Had some issues

Love the location (Madeira Beach). The condo unit definitely needs some upgrades. Initially there was no hot water and the a/c was barely cooling. I contacted the management and there was someone there to check it within one hour. The water was fixed much later that day due to another unit having some leaking from the blocked hvac unit in our place. It was leaking into the unit under ours. The hvac cooling capability did not really improve. At times we needed the much appreciated fans to keep cool. We had an overall great time but the place is old and needs some updating. They really do not supply things like paper towels and cloth towels for the kitchen. No tissues and limited toilet paper. So bring extra. No shampoo/conditioner/body wash travel size items. Even with the issues, we had a great stay and will be back to Madeira Beach.

Terrible unit over price a lot of building code violations

The place is in a need of repair kitchen very liking pipe in the sink missing electrical cover the dishes were no clean even that they were put away the floor was clean the pillow are old and stained the back balcony was dirty, I had to cleaning myself the will not stay at that unit terrible condition

Great location but condo needs help

The location is great. Exterior maintenance staff keeps the grounds in order and couldn't be nicer guys, however the condo's floors were filthy (our feet were black), the second bathroom vanity is falling apart, the AC closet door was off its rails. The dishes were all mismatched and there was sand in the dresser drawers so we didn’t take our things out of our suitcases. The cable/satellite has issues. The beds and towels were clean and the couches were very comfortable- the place is tired. We won't stay in that unit again.

Clean

It was not real clean. Sand was on couches and in floors. The property doesn’t swap out towels. You have to pay to use washer/dryer not that being bad but it is for towels. Just never stayed somewhere they didn’t swap towels out and only 2 in each bathroom. The location and place was good just not happy with the cleaning.

Sandy shores 406 great value

Excellent location. Beautiful beach. Spacious condo. Awesome view and balcony. Lots of beach toys for kids. Very comfortable stay. Like the pool area directly on the beach. Very convenient with little ones. Wish condo had its own washer/dryer combo. Did not realize there was only one for the whole floor. Condo needs a new vacuum. Current one smells when run and doesn't work effectively. Would have liked a broom and dustpan to help clean up sand, crumbs, etc. Must provide own beach towels, which is inconvenient for packing. Parking spaces are not in any order so you have to drive around the lot until you find your condo number space on the asphalt (difficult if you check in after dark). Pool is small for kids because half of it is 5 feet or deeper, so most of the swimmers stay in the shallow end. Overall I was happy with the place and I would stay again.

Proximity to the beach was excellent and the pool area was very nice. Bring your own beach towels as none are provided. As beach towels are bulky to pack, it would be nice if some were provided with the rental. For the price paid, bath mats should have been provided. As suggested by previous renters, mattress toppers ought to be considered as the beds are hard. Overall, the unit was clean and functional. We enjoyed our stay.
