Enjoy the view.

Sunny Beach House up on the hill with amazing views looking down over Tairua.
Close to town and the harbour and just a short drive to the white sand surf beach.

Upstairs is an internal access garage.

A large modern kitchen fully equipped including: dishwasher, induction cook-top, oven and microwave.

An open plan living area including dining table, a fold out sofa bed and a sunny North facing deck (with a sun conservatory) all with amazing views.

Downstairs is where the bedrooms are located. The front two bedrooms with queen beds open onto a small deck with some sea views, and a third bedroom with 3 single beds.

The main bathroom is downstairs as well as the laundry.

We welcome children, but be aware that the property is not fenced in and there are steep stairs outside. We would recommend not letting your children play in the area down these stairs. We have 2 children of our own, and just restrict them from using that particular outside area.

The house is older with some upgraded areas - kitchen area is new. House was very clean. The view is unbeatable. As a Canadian from the prairies, the driveway is a daunting slope. We just parked at the top and walked down rather than backing down or up. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Easter holidays

Stunning well equipped property , kitchen had every single thing in abundance you could need to put on decent family dinners , plates , cutlery utensils , dishes etc , dishwasher , spacious environment with a monstrous view of the harbour , so no matter the weather , you were just happy to be there relaxing and enjoying your time , I'd look for no other property than here for my next family holiday ,, pics do t do this property justice , it really is a massive gorgeous space.Don't skip this one

Everything you need

Towels, soap, plastic wrap, paper towel, even peanut butter - this property had it all. Great view and comfortable stay.

Enjoyed our stay

The view was beautiful; we were lucky to see a full moon rise above the small island across the water, while we enjoyed some wine on the comfy outdoor furniture. We were thankful for coffee and a few kitchen items that were provided. Very steep driveway but it was fine for us to park at the top and walk down. The home seemed very clean but we wondered about a funny smell in the basement bedrooms. We walked down a stone stair path to the village and enjoyed a wonderful meal at Manala Kitchen & Bar. Fortunately a server was willing to drive us back up the hill and we gave her a nice tip.

From the moment I laid eyes on the photos, I was captivated by the promise of breathtaking views—and I'm happy to report, it didn't just meet my expectations; it blew them away. Waking up to such a mesmerizing panorama each morning and ending the day captivated by the view was the highlight of my stay, a serene experience that I'll hold dear. The property carries a charming allure, bearing the marks of time with an older structure that's been lovingly reno'd and redesigned by the owners. Their efforts to modernise and inject vibrancy into the space are commendable, bringing a fresh breath to its historical bones. However, my stay was not without its hitches. As someone who is sensitive to dust, I encountered allergy issues I hadn't anticipated, which detracted from the overall comfort of my experience. Additionally, the second bedroom queen bed's discomfort and the creaking floors on the bedroom level posed challenges, especially during the night when the quiet magnified every sound. These small inconveniences disrupted the tranquility of the environment and the sleep of others. While the awe-inspiring view offered a considerable value, I left feeling torn about the overall cost of the stay. It’s a complex balance to weigh—the unparalleled beauty of the location against the aspects of the interior that although dressed up left room for improvement. The price of the view is undeniably amazing, yet I found myself contemplating whether it fully justified

Enjoyed our stay

The house is airy and bright with a beautiful view It had everything we needed. Be prepared the drive is VERY steep and our vehicle had to be backed in. After a few times we were used to it and no problem. Easy access to the town and beach. Our grandson loved body surfing on the outside beach. We would book this place again.

Spectacular views

We loved everything about this house, but especially the jaw-dropping view of Tairua bay. We really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, the open- concept design of the main floor, the many indoor and outdoor sitting areas and the huge windows. The beds were extremely comfortable with very nice linens. Even in January, the house cooled down nicely at night and we never had to turn on the AC. It was great having the second bathroom upstairs. Overall, we highly recommend a stay here!

Terrific in Tairua

Absolutely stunning views from this property. Just As shown in the pictures but even more spectacular once you are on the deck and in the house. The kitchen is well stocked, modern, and has higher grade appliances what a nice treat. The property is big with a front grassed area, and walkway to the back. You won’t want to leave this beauty. The air con is a must on hotter days but unfortunately the unit in the living doesn’t make it to the downstairs bedrooms. Perhaps some fans in the bedroom doorways might help push the air around. Other than that we would love to come back again. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Clean tidy property. Only issue was the dishwasher which didnt work properly. After we figured how to open door the powder dispenser didnt open on two washes. So was basicly ineffective.

Amazing!

We absolutely loved staying here. The best views and lovely open plan living area. Very clean and tidy and only a 10 min walk to the shops. The beds were very comfortable. The house has everything you need. Would stay again!

The house is well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were especially comfortable. The view is incredible and the glass sunroom was nice to sit in on the cooler evenings while enjoying the view. I would highly recommend staying in this lovely home.

Views for days

My parents were visiting from Canada and we wanted to show them the best the Coromandel has to offer. We were so pleased with our stay in Tairua at Court & Tess' place. The views from any room in the house were spectacular and even better than pictured. The hosts' were very accomodating and any questions they answered back quickly over text. The kitchen was set up perfectly for cooking some larger family meals and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking at staying in Tairua with a group of friends/family! We will definitely be returning for another visit down the line

Amazing Amazing Amazing

As soon as you walk in the door you relax! Fantastic views, fabulous quality, great facilities, even found a shovel to borrow for hot water beach! The small touches also went a long way, washing powder, liquid soap, beautiful linen and stunning views! Fabulous kiwi bach with a great layout for family, couples or group of friends. Highly recommend!!!!
