Designed for family, friends, water sports , fishing or quiet reflection, this beautiful, water access only, Hawkesbury River home is only 45mins from Sydney, a short trip from Brooklyn by water taxi or ferry, and a 5 mins trip by water from Parsley Bay Boat ramp, This truly stunning location offers a true escape from it all.

You’ll enjoy the use of a private jetty, pontoon, slipway and deep boat mooring. Your ultimate relaxing getaway will focus around the beach, water, boats and nature. INdulge your interests in fishing, sailing, kayaking and water skiing or just laze on the deck with unsurpassed views and tranquility. On another level is the rich history of The Hawkesbury, the fauna and flora, photography and magnificent walking trails accessible from your doorstep. For the foodies, good restaurants include Brooklyn, Dangar Island, Peats Bite, Cottage Point Inn and Berowra Waters Inn.

River escape

We had a great time looking out over the river and watching the ferries come in with kids and grandparents. Clean, compact, great postion and view. Thoroughly recommend.

A beautiful getaway

Our stay at Waters Egde was fantastic! The house was very comfortable, clean and nicely stocked with everything we needed including board games, beach towels, sun cream and dog bed and towels. The many little beaches and coves along the river made for exciting exploring and many memorable days. The sunsets and views from Waters Edge were absolutely stunning and relaxing on the deck a perfect way to end the day. We took our dog along for the holiday, the property was very secure and he was unable to get out. Steph was a wonderful host and communicated very promptly with us throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely recommend Waters Edge.

Easy Sydney Getaway

Our stay at Waters Edge was absolutely marvellous. Steph, the fabulous host, helped us with arrival, departure and gave us advice on great spots to explore. Her communication was very good. The property was clean, spacious and very lovely. A wonderful balcony looks out onto the gorgeous waters where we enjoyed sundowners and breakfast. The bedrooms were, again, very spacious with en-suites and queen beds. The cupboards were stocked with games and DVDs ( whole James Bond series!) and we loved playing a bit of classic Monopoly before dinner. Little Wobby is certainly a central place when exploring the Hawkesbury River. We hired a tinny from Brooklyn Marina ( very good) and drove around with our puppy to beautiful spots to make new memories. I advise, when staying here, to definitely hire a tinny. We found that Little Wobby was not very expansive and after one short-ish walk to its beach, we knew that hiring a tinny had been a good bet. The Hawkesbury is beautiful and I would absolutely recommend staying here for a family holiday with or without your dog. We were sad to leave this Easter but are most certainly making a second trip back - so much is still undiscovered for us in the Hawkesbury… Thank you heaps Steph!!

Beautiful views, so relaxing

Beautiful spot to relax, read and spend time on your boat. Water taxi is $50 each way. Great driver and service but expensive. If you want to eat at restaurants or go for a walk, you will need to hire a birth for your boat. There is only 2 guests spots at the marina. Bring life jackets, water sports fun Water Taxi expensive but very reliable. Well equipped kitchen. Love the bar seats on the verandah.

Couldn’t be better

We loved Steph’s property. It’s contemporary renovations makes it light and open, but most importantly, places the river in your field of vision at all times. A great place to relax. We loved the walks, small beaches, trips to Dangar and the generous provision of Kayaks. Steph was amazing with the communication, and was super generous with sharing information about the property that piqued our curiosity!

Wonderful relaxing weekend on the water

Waters Edge was the perfect place for unwinding and relaxing for the weekend. The house is beautiful and the wrap around balcony is perfect for sitting out and watching the world go by. The surroundings are beautiful and the beach is only 15 minutes walk. The kitchen is very well stocked and we were able to cook all our meals easily. The house was very clean and comfy and Stephanie was a great host, helping us with any questions we had. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a very relaxing break!

Hi take my advice

The first thing you need to exterminator all the house for courage and ‏ spider and they have to clean the house very good before to give it to the people and no blankets enough for sleeping and there is very dirty smelling bad

Piece of Paradise

Not too far to travel to find this piece of paradise. Even the rain & cold didn’t dampen our spirits with such a perfect outlook. Steph is a thoughtful host & we received clear communication about the property. Looking forward to returning with hopefully sunshine next time!

The perfect getaway location

Really enjoyed our Easter break here. The organisation was easy with great communication from the owner prior to the stay. The house was clean tidy and really comfortable - with a great balcony and amazing view, right on the waters edge. The perfect place to relax and unwind.

Great place to stay!

Such a great place to stay. Beautiful view and right on the water. The layout of the house is open, bright and the addition of air con and fans make it cool on those hot days and nights. Steph was a great host, lots of commutation before and during our stay. Thank you!

Great to be on/at Water's Edge!

Little piece of paradise

Beautiful view and so relaxing. The kids spent most of their day on the supplied Kayaks and we could watch them and relax from the huge balcony overlooking the water and the mountains. The house is very clean and has everything you need, all we had to bring was the food we wanted. We loved the fact that our dogs could stay and have fun as well and come with us on lovely walks on the bushtrail to the nearby beach. At nightime the sky is the most magical sight you will ever experience, it was so peaceful and the stars shone so bright. Thank you for giving my family and I the best holiday we've had in a while. We'll definitely be back in the future.
