Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Ventana Canyon Condo. The owner, Mike, was a speedy and helpful communicator regarding any questions.The unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable.The kitchen was well appointed.The location of the property in the Catalina Foothills is quiet , peaceful and a short drive to Sabina Canyon , Mt. Lemmon and many great dining options.

Great host and even better views

This rental is all about the location. It’s quiet, close to everything, and offers amazing desert scenery. The owner was a pleasure to work with! Just be aware that the unit is a bit dated and there are many stairs to reach the entrance. Tip: Bring an eye mask if you sleep in the master bedroom, as the porch light is very bright at night!

We have stayed here several times. I could gush about how clean it is, or how they had everything we needed, the friendly & quiet neighbors, or its great location and easy access to Sabino Canyon and Ventana Canyon Trailhead for hiking, but just the fact that we come back says it all.

Quiet Retreat

Stunning views, very peaceful, centrally located for dining, shopping, hiking and pickleball. Udall park did not disappoint for some pickleball time and locals were very helpful. Very well furnished and comfortable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Fun Getaway

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is great with spectacular views of Ventana Canyon. The unit is well - decorated and very comfortable. The covered parking is convenient. We also enjoyed the fitness area and pool. The screened porch is delightful. The owner was very responsive to our needs. A great stay!!

Tucson vacation

This condo worked out well for our family trip to Tucson. It was nicely decorated, very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch. Great location in the Foothills!

We stayed at Ventana Canyon Condo for Parent's Weekend and it was a great escape from the busyness of all the events. We especially enjoyed the porch in the mornings, it had a great view to enjoy our coffee! The condo was well stocked and the owner left detailed instructions for us, which is nice.

Great condo in the foothills!

This is a very private unit in the back of the condo complex. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking. We loved the screened porch and the beautiful view of Ventana Canyon. Close to grocery, shopping, and hiking. We enjoyed our stay!

Very nice condo w/ mountain views

Spent a few dollars per night more for a 2nd floor unit… well worth it. Beautiful views of the Catalinas, sun and moon rises over Reddington Pass. Very clean, well furnished, bedrooms well separated for some privacy. Best feature is a screened balcony w/ table and chairs with all the great views of the high desert. My wife and daughter loved it.

Great location and live the view!

The location right up against the foothills is fantastic. The ventana canyon trailhead is literally out the back door, which is a huge attraction. This unit has a screened porch with a huge saguaro right outside the window. We spent most of our time while in the unit on the porch; fantastic. The unit was super clean and nicely decorated with southwestern art and rugs. Great location to easily get to great hiking. Had a great time!

Vantana Canyon stay

Had a pleasant and relaxing stay in the Vantana Canyon condominium. Stayed in a similar but smaller unit last year and the extra room here was much nicer, the only negative being its 2nd floor location with no elevator. The plus to that, though, is the nicer view of the hillside and canyon with all its beautiful scenery and visible wildlife. We even had three different bobcats lounging in the scrubs our first few days plus many different birds.

Clean, comfortable condo in great location for hiking.

This condo complex is in a great location for hiking the beautiful mountains and canyons of Tucson. The complex grounds were quiet and well maintained. The condo was very clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked. The living room furniture and beds were very comfortable. The porch had beautiful unobstructed views of the mountains to the north as shown in the photos, however in winter (with no leaves) the views to the east overlook the Loews parking lot and building roof more than I expected. There are gorgeous views of the mountains beyond the Loews, with beautiful sunrise and moonrise views over the mountains. Overall a great place to stay.

Well appointed and peaceful. We used the condo as a home base, and it did not disappoint! Watching the birds and javelina entertained us in the morning with our coffee on the screened porch and reviewing our day in the comfortable living room in the evening made a stressful trip less so.

Fabulous Accommodations

Stunning views from owner bedroom, living room, kitchen, guest bedroom, and especially the screened-in porch. We spent hours sipping coffee and looking out at the views. This particular condo unit may well have the best views in the whole complex. Very quiet--often just heard the stream and birds. Beautifully furnished with interesting decor. Washer and dryer got used 3 or 4 times--very useful feature of the condo. We entertained friends one night, starting on the porch to watch the sunset and then moving to the dining area. Our guests loved the condo as much as we did. The manager, Mike, is extremely prompt in responding to questions. Overall, a delightful and perfect 9-day stay.

Perfect Home Base in Tucson!

I stayed at this property for five nights in February and found it to be an excellent home base for my hiking and sightseeing trips in and around Tucson: - Great location in the Catalina Foothills, nice views from the screened-in porch - Less than 10 minutes by car from Sabino Canyon, my favorite hiking destination - Easy access to groceries, restaurants, etc. - Extremely well-appointed property; kitchen appliances, furniture, linens all top notch - Beautiful Southwest décor - Responsive, attentive and helpful host! Highly recommended!
