Canyon View at Ventana has been greatly updated with new wood cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, tile baseboards, updated bathrooms, high-quality leather furniture in the living room, and so much more! This getaway is completely equipped with everything you and your lucky guests could need to experience an unforgettable vacation in The Grand Canyon State. The kitchen might not be spacious, but it's fully-equipped to help you flow your creativity and channel your inner chef to prepare savory meals for everyone. Unwind in the inviting living room and watch something entertaining on the flatscreen TV before heading out to take a deliciously refreshing dip in the shared outdoor swimming pool. Right off the living room is a screened-in porch, a great place if you're looking for some privacy while relaxing. Speaking of relaxing, if you decide to book this charming retreat, you can take advantage of the shared hot tub on-site. Pool towels are provided for guests and there's a private washer/dryer combo in case you were thinking of packing light for this trip to save up space for souvenirs.

What's nearby:
This retreat is 14 miles from downtown Tucson, providing a great secluded location while being not too far away from the city. Visit downtown Tucson to enjoy a meal at 19th-century-inspired restaurants, visit the Tuscon Museum of Art, or walk along mansion-lined streets in the El Presidio Historic District. Here in the Catalina Foothills (five and a half miles), you'll be close to several dining favorites, including the laid-back Fini's Landing and the upscale Trattoria Pina. The weather here is perfect for outdoor activities; put on your most comfortable hiking shoes and explore the scenic Finger Rock Trail (seven and a half miles) or the Seven Falls Trail (14 miles). You can also easily drive over to the Tucson Mall (less than 10 miles away), the largest shopping mall in Tucson for your daily shopping fix. A little bit over than one mile is the Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club where you can hit the links and practice your swing at the golf courts.

A few friends and I converged in Tucson, AZ for a long, peaceful, weekend. Canyon View was a really nice place to stay. We practically had the pool to ourselves. We would definitely visit Canyon View again.

Lovely condo

This is a lovely condo in a lovely location. It was spacious, extremely well equipped. Great location for us to explore the Saguaro National Park. Close to some nice restaurants that offered carryout, so we could eat nice meals in the condo. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Very comfortable, nice unobtrusive, uncluttered design. We were visiting family in the area so did not use pool, gym or kitchen so can not comment on these.

WONDERFUL GETAWAY

This condo is beautifully decorated with quality furniture and kitchenware and is stocked with everything necessary for a great stay! The location of the apartment complex is hard to beat with gorgeous views and hiking trails nearby. Groceries, restaurants are within 1.5 miles of the condo. We plan on visiting this area in the future and would definitely like to stay here again. The location is also fantastic and is close to hiking trails

A wonderfully quiet oasis

We loved the quiet with only songbirds making noise. We enjoyed lounging on the screened in porch in the mornings and evenings. The air conditioning works well, and the fans in all rooms are a big help to keeping it cool in the summer heat. We would come back to stay in an instant.

Had a great stay. Wonderful location close to hiking. Could have used a map of the complex to help find the unit in the dark, also parking and pool. We brought coffee but the unit only had a keurig, so no Java first morning😕. They should also label the pool key. Aside from those minor recommendations, everything was great.

The condo and furnishings were all very nice and we had a comfortable stay. Please check the battery in the door lock. It did not work consistently so we always had the key with us.

Exceptional condo!

This two bedroom two bath condo was first floor (big plus) and literally steps to the pool, hot tub, exercise room etc. covered parking was convenient. The condo was clean, lots of towels, and a kitchen that was so well-prepared with not just great cookware, appliances and dishes, but many spices to use for cooking. Coffee maker plus keurig. And full size washer and dryer. All situated at the base of the Catalina Mountains so wonderful walking places. We felt blessed to be able to stay there!

Perfect location for outdoor experiences

We enjoyed our stay and found nothing lacking in the townhouse. Extremely clean with a well stocked kitchen. Perfect location for hiking, restaurants, markets. Good instructions for entry, wifi and tv. The keys for the gate to Ventana Canyon and to the pool were not marked. It would have been helpful to have info about the Tucson area in the house. It seemed unusual to not have some brochures, maps or books on this beautiful area of the Southwest. We would stay there again. Thank you.

Perfect Getaway

It was a short three day trip with my 16 year old son for his Spring Break. This is our 3rd year taking our annual trek up Sabino Canyon Blacketts Trail. We stayed at this lovely condo that was perfect and cozy and was conveniently located right next to the clubhouse with the spa, pool and workout room. This place is literally 7 mins away from Sabino Canyon and about the same from nearby stores. It's located at the bottom of Ventana Mountains and has a gorgeous view of the mountains. It sits behind Lowes Resorts, their trail is just a few yards away from the entrance of the Community. This home had just about everything you need, however, it didn't have an automatic icemaker or filtered water maker so you will need to bring a few gallons of water if that's what you like. It had a lovely outside screen enclosed sitting area that was so nice to sit and enjoy the breeze and sun but without the bugs. I look forward to coming back for a stay with my family next time.

Just one communication issue

The property was wonderful. Except the listing said you needed to make a reservation for the pool. I called Vacasa and the first person after asking around came back on the line and told me to go to a sign on reservations website. That was the wrong information which I learned after 20 minutes of browsing the site. I then called back and connected with a person who knew more information. When he found the information I needed he sent me the link. When I opened the link the comments stated reservations were no longer required for the pool. That runaround was very time consuming and ridiculous. Vacasa needs to keep listings current.
