Tidewater Shore. What more could you ask for? Beaches, boating, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, trails, shopping, eateries and a quiet place to lay your head. There are so many amenities that you will have access to!

Staying at Tidewater Shore entitles you to unlimited visits to Kiptopeke State Park. Bring your boat! The community has a boat parking area (first come, first served)and right next door (Kiptopeke State Park) has a boat ramp! No boat, no worries; the park has a fishing pier and a beautiful white sandy beach.

Tidewater Shore is just minutes away from the historic town of Cape Charles, which offers another beautiful public beach, restaurants, shopping, golf cart rentals, and specialty shops. Conveniently located just 3 miles from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, one of the modern wonders of the world, for easy day trips to Virginia Beach and Williamsburg.

If available this property may rent weekly during the Summer months, Saturday to Saturday. If you have dates in mind, please do not hesitate to give us a call or email. We may consider adjustments. two night rentals are acceptable during the shoulder and off seasons.

Bed linens and bath towels are provided, along with a starter pack of essentials including toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent to help you settle in comfortably.

I would not recommend staying here. After my stay, they charged my credit card a week later an extra cleaning fee. On top of that, the toilet was leaking during my stay, which was inconvenient and woke up to clean the water and should have been fixed before guests arrived. Very disappointing experience.---Would you like me to make it short and sharp (a few sentences only), or longer and more detailed so it explains the situation more fully?

Great Location

We love the location of this property, short bike ride to the park. I would love to see a better equipped kitchen, other than that we loved it. Thank you.

Best July 4th

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at this house! We loved how spacious it was and how close it was to the state park, where we spent days at the beach or kayaking. We went into Cape Charles for fireworks and just had the best time. This was the perfect spot for our group, thank you!

Very nice, clean, and convenient

I stayed with my husband, brother, and sister in law and our 2 infants and toddler. It was plenty spacious and perfect for our week at the beach. We spent time at Kiptopeke State Park with my parents, it was right down the road and was so close to the beach and pier. They even had a parking pass to get into the park for free every day. Everything was clean and check in and out process was so easy. We were so happy with our stay and hope to book this condo again in the future!

Kiptopeke & Cape Charles Convenient

Spacious condo with standard amenities: linens, towels, dishes, toaster, tea kettle, coffee maker, ice maker/filtered water, etc. Beds are very firm (recommend bringing mattress topper if used to a softer mattress) with nice pillows & comforters. Nice, deep tub with handheld shower assembly in main suite bathroom plus standup shower. Walk-in closet in main suite. Water has a sulfur scent (similar to water smell in campground bathhouse), let it run on hot a bit for smell to dissipate to manageable level. First use of toilets requires multiple flushes to clear water of silt & reduce scent. If you have small children, bring outlet covers & gate(s), playpen if you have one, pack & play for kids who sleep in cribs or mat for toddlers as beds are a bit high for little sleepers. There are decor items that are within reach of little hands. I moved them up higher temporarily to protect those items from wee hands (moved them back before checking out) & used a playyard to contain my little as much as possible. The main suite was spacious & safe for my baby to toddle and crawl around in with doors closed as everything is out of reach (outlet covers needed). Nice soft carpets as well. Easy communication with Kathy if anything is needed. Overall good stay & would likely book again if available next year.

Well water smells!

A large beautiful condo that unfortunately had well water that smelled so badly when you showered or turned the sink water on. Also discolored white clothes and towels when using the washing machine. This issue really soured our experience here.

Kiptopeke Condo

This is our second stay at this house. It is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need to cook for your group. It is close to Kiptopeke State Park and the beaches and trails. We look forward to staying here after!

Cape Charles 2022

Easy and efficient check in, no problems at all during our time there. The property is literally next door to the state park, 2 miles from the Bay Bridge, and 6 miles from Food Lion and Cape Charles tourist areas. We went to the July 4th parade at Cape Charles, which was very impressive. We also hit Brown Dog Ice Cream and the Brewery while we were in Cape Charles. The beaches at Kiptopeke and Cape Charles were perfect for little ones, and our boat rental from Poseidon was amazing (saw dolphins). We did a day trip to Chincoteague and went to Maui Jack's, and took our daughter for a great pony ride at Esperanza (Elizabeth was awesome to coordinate with!).

Very roomy and clean

The property was very spacious. Bedrooms were large. There are actually 2.5 baths which was a plus since the listing said 2. Is right next to Kiptopeke State Park which has a nice beach. It said there was a pass to the park but there was not one there. They have said they will reimburse the $7 per day parking fee. The gas grill was out of gas so we had to fill it. The manager has said they will reimburse that $20 as well. Occasionally the manager did not respond right away but they did eventually get back to me. They also said toilet paper and paper towels were provided. We ran out of both midweek and had to get more. I would stay here again because the house is very nice for the price

Great location

Overall it was a great place to stay with regards to the location. We took our children to the beach within the park each day and it was so nice that it was so close. It had all the basics but was sparse in the kitchen and linens.

Incredibly clean and convenient stay on the southern tip of ESVA

We were deeply appreciative of the cleanliness of this property - top notch among the places we’ve stayed. Great layout, completely functional kitchen, and convenient to outdoor activities, including nature preserves. Also very close to Cape Charles and other Eastern Shore destinations.

Perfect little retreat

This property was great for long time friends to get together for a long weekend. Very close to 2 separate beaches, the down town area was adorable. The home included everything we needed for our stay. We would stay again!

Great spot near Cape Charles

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in this townhouse. The space was perfect for our family. The kitchen is well stocked with pots,pans, and anything else you might need to cook at home. There are even 2 grills for cooking out! Comfy beds and nice decor. Access to Kiptopeke State Park for beach, kayaking and hiking trails. We will certainly be back!
