PARKING REGULATIONS – Only 4 vehicles are allowed to park in the driveway. Parking on the street is NOT permitted. Violation of either of these regulations may result in $300 fine per day.

Please note that amenities may have closures or restrictions during your visit.
MAXIMUM OF 10 PEOPLE – No more than 10 people may occupy the house at any given time. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED. Violation of either of these may result in a $500 fine per day.

BRECKENRIDGE NOISE ORDINANCE – Quiet hours are from 10PM – 8AM. Violation of quiet hours is a class 2 petty offense and will result in a fine of up to $600 per violation from the Breckenridge Police Department.

The HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATIONS ARE STRICTLY enforcing any violation to the POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE COUNTY CODE VIOLATION DEPARTMENT
A 4 wheel drive vehicle will be needed in the snowy winter months.

Our extended family of 5 couples stayed in the house over a long weekend. The house is beautiful with plenty of space to spread out. The outside deck has a gorgeous view of the sunrise and sunset. The younger adults really enjoyed the hot tub and playing Halo in the media room. The location is just a short drive from downtown Breckenridge and it’s easy to move around Summit County.The management company is the best I’ve ever worked with!! Their communication was thorough and they responded to an issue we had with a door lock immediately. The house was very clean! The only two things that bothered us were no mattress covers on the beds, and the mattresses were not super comfortable to us. They were all foam mattresses which none of us are use to sleeping on. This doesn’t change my opinion at all though… I would highly recommend a stay!!

Each family had a level with two bedrooms and my husband and I had the master bedroom on the main floor. My only suggestion would be more comfortable furniture on the deck.

Beautiful property

We stayed here with five couples for a college friends reunion and it was an amazing property. Great location and a beautiful house with all necessary luxury amenities.

Great home in a beautiful location

We loved the location and the layout of this home. It was perfect for our family. The kitchen was nice to prepare meals and hang out as a family. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. The only improvement we’d like to see before returning would be updating some of the bedspreads and throw pillows as they were stained. Also, the home could have had a more thorough cleaning before we arrived. Those are easy fixes.

Christmas Rental

I will start with the good things about this house. The house itself was in a good location with great views and was very comfortable for 10 people (6 adults and 4 kids ages 1, 2, 8, and 14). There was ample parking and the house location was quiet and beautiful. The inside of the house was spacious with the master bedroom on the main level, 2 bedrooms on the upper level (each with their own bath) and the bottom level was like an apartment with 2 additional bedrooms a living area, TV room, bathroom and mini kitchen with a sink and mini fridge. The management company was easy to communicate with and was responsive to texts and emails. The Not so Good: The house was dirty. We found old food, and socks under the beds downstairs. Although the sheets appeared to have been washed, the blankets and comforters on the beds had not. There were stains on them and they just looked dirty. We had to wash all the bedding the first night we were there. When we took the bedding off to wash, some of the mattresses did not have a mattress pad covers and the mattresses in the upstairs and downstairs had lots of stains, some of which looked like blood. One of the throw pillows on the couch downstairs had what looked to be a blood stain about the size of a side plate on it. In general, all the pillows and bedding need to be replaced. The management company did refund us the cleaning fee, but would have been better if they offered to come and clean the house, considering what we paid.

Couples Retreat

This property was perfect for our couples retreat. It was located close to town and very beautiful. The home was well stocked and there was plenty of space for 8 adults. We had a leak in the bathroom and it was easy to communicate with the team and they came out to fix it immediately! I would definitely recommend this property!

50th Birthday Destination Getaway

The property shows as listed and more. It’s perfectly located, surrounded by the most gorgeous scenic views. Widely able to accommodating 4 couples, each with individual lodging area. My stay was exceptional.

We saw a family of Moose right outside. The house was in a great location, up a dirt road giving more opportunity for serenity and wild life but we had no problem getting Ubers to town or driving into town was only about 5-10 minutes max. There was an easy hiking trail along a river at the base of the dirt road that we walked. The house was very clean with easy instructions for checking and check out. The management team was very helpful and responsive via text and email.

Wonderful Mountain Home

This house had plenty of space, plenty of bathrooms, and plenty of bedrooms for our group of 8 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed and the grill was appreciated. The wrap around porch and hot tub had fantastic views of the mountains! We loved the privacy here and hope to stay again!

Family Vacation in Breckenridge

This is our second time staying at the Big Blue Trace. The location is perfect for what we like to do and the space is adequate to handle our group of 10. Kitchen provided enough items for us to eat many meals in and the grill was very useful. Communication with the property manager was easy, we had a couple of issues when we first checked in and once we communicated with the manager the issues were taken care of. The reason we did not give the stay a 5 star is the home seems and looks a bit tired, not much has changed since we stayed two years ago. The outdoor furniture needs some help as a few of the chairs were broke and management had to bring some plastic chairs for us to be able sit outside. There were some other cosmetic issues in which the home was beginning to show some wear and tear. Overall our stay in the Big Blue Trace was adequate and fine.

Perfect Breckenridge Stay

The house provided a comfortable, relaxing, and very enjoyable family and friend weekend in Breckenridge. The perfect amenities and space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked for group dinners, space was great for spending time together, and hot tub views were so relaxing. So pleased with our stay!

Family ski get away

Lovely property. Easy access to Breck and Vail. Property management company was wonderful to work with. Plenty of pots/pans/cooking needs as well as utensils, towels, trash bags etc.

Perfect Winter Vacation

We had a group of 5 couples visit on a winter/ski trip and we couldn't have had a better place to stay. Spectacular views, big rooms, great amenities (especially the hot tub), and everything we could need made it worth spending your nights at the house if you wanted. Driving to the gondola lots and town only took about 10 minutes. No problem with uber or delivery. They run plows but you'll definitely need 4WD. I think we all wished we could stay twice as long as we did!

Beautiful Cabin House

I stayed here with my family for a ski trip. The house is absolutely beautiful. Every bedroom is nice and spacious. The house is about a 10 minute drive from downtown. 4 wheel drive is needed in the winter. Several cars got stuck coming up the roads while it snowed. The management company was extremely responsive which was nice. There were a few minor items in the home that should be fixed (a light downstairs was slightly pulled out of the wall and a headboard in a bedroom had been dislodged). Overall this placed was awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay

We absolutely loved our stay at the Big Blue Trace! The house was incredibly spacious and allowed for our family to spend some quality time together! Similar to the note on the property description - make sure you have an AWD! The house is off of a windy uphill road and with the snowy conditions, it is an absolutely must to have an AWD.

Great location for a white Christmas

The house provided a great space to spend time with my family after a difficult year of losses. We have never experienced a white Christmas and this did not disappoint. The views were great! The snow plows plowed the main road so we felt safe driving in unfamiliar conditions. Every family unit had their own space and bath. The house itself was lovely. Felt perfect for the season and we appreciated the decorated Christmas tree. We did feel it could have been a little better supplied. We had to buy cleaning spray for the kitchen and some of the pans needed to be washed before use. We also had to buy toilet paper. We should have bought more paper towels, but kept forgetting. A couple of additional hot pads and kitchen towels would have been nice. We haven't done this much - we just know now to be a little better prepared. As we had an infant with us - we bought and left a pack n play for future guests. A high chair would have been nice. We would return to this property again- just a little better prepared. There was a broken light in the bunk room evidently. I never went down there, but that was the only maintenance issue. Thank you for sharing the house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 4 nights, late September and it was a gathering of 3 old friends in their mid 60s. Obviously the home was more space than we needed, but all of us are glad we chose the home and location. The home is beautiful and well equiped. Since we hadn't seen each other for over 30+ years, we cooked every meal at the house. Kitchen was well stocked, grill worked well! We were able to stream videos and movies with the wifi and the big TV in the main room worked perfectly. We only had one minor issue, the can opener didn't work. Contacted Breckenridge Property Managers and within an hour a new can opener was delivered to us. The home is wonderful, location and views were amazing and the property managers are top notch! We will be returning.
