The Hacienda on South Chesterman. One minute walk to the beach. Relax and Unwind

Just a minute walk to world famous Chesterman Beach, the Hacienda is bright, clean and private.

Whether you are stargazing in the outdoor bathtub after a day of surfing, or enjoying a beverage on our south facing deck, the Hacienda is the perfect place to relax, unwind and truly let the west coast invite you in.

Amenities include: fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, outdoor bath and shower (as well as an indoor shower), piano, guitar, wifi, satellite TV/standard cable, gas fireplace, bluetooth speaker, washing machine and dryer, beach towels, robes, two private decks and a private entrance with parking for one car ( please inquire if you need additional parking).

Fully enclosed bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed.
Open loft-style bedroom upstairs with a queen size bed.
Double foamy bed available for a child.

An open concept chalet style house with high ceilings, lots of natural light/windows and plants. The Hacienda is a bright, clean, well-stocked house with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable.

Maximum rental time: 14 nights. Please send a message if you would like to book for longer.

Great place to unwind. Across the street from Chesterman Beach access. Hacienda is very well appointed with quality soaps, towels and a well stocked kitchen. Highly recommended.

Comfy, cozy , beautiful place

Our family of 3 had a great time! loved being close to the beach, the house was spacious and it was peaceful to sit on the deck and listen to the sound of the waves in the distance. Our toddler loved all the books and to play in the yard as well- thanks for being so friendly and accommodating!

Perfectly restful

The Hacienda is perfect for a restful stay. The cottage is very well equipped and is so comfortable and cozy. It’s in such a quiet and peaceful location and you can hear the ocean. The bathtub on the back deck it amazing, you can soak in the tub and listen the ocean and the breeze in the cedars, it’s even nicer in the rain. The fireplace adds a nice ambience to the living room. We walked the beach everyday to enjoy and pastries at The Tofitian cafe. There are so many things to do in the area as well as many restaurants to choose from. The Hacienda is a wonderful place to stay in a little piece of heaven.

A beautiful cozy spot

We had a beautiful time at the Hacienda house! It was cozy and had everything we needed. It was very clean, well thought out and a breeze to check in and out. Our kids felt comfortable and we found it to be very family friendly.just steps from the beach! Would definitely return !

Great location with short walk to beach. We were four grown up and the space were perfect for us. Hosts were on top of communicating with us. Definitely would stay again.

Picture perfect!

Our family of four had a lovely stay over a long weekend. The Hacienda was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect - a short walk to Chesterman Beach and short drive to downtown Tofino. Keane and Patrick were responsive and check in/out seamless. We will definitely be back. A cozy haven

We enjoyed our stay, especially a warm welcome from Keane on a stormy day, the little propane stove that got us through the power outage, the close proximity to the beach and great hiking, and the well-equipped kitchen and cozy, comfortable amenities. We will return!

Excellent with beach just beside

All around absolutely excellent. Hosts were available and keen to help with anything while sharing this lovely quiet and private space. The kitchen was nicely stocked with spices and a few other essentials. Beds and furniture all very comfortable.

quiet oasis close to the beach

This was a very nice separate house -quiet and just a short block from Chesterman Beach, which was great to go for walks on .Well equipped for preparing meals at home. It's just a short drive to Tofino .Nice location for a couple or two couples.

Lovely little spot near the beach

We had such a great mellow week, getting work done, walking to the gorgeous beach just a few steps away, spending time in the most peaceful and gorgeous part of Tofino.

Perfect cottage vacation

The Freeland family of 4 couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome at The Hacienda! We were all taken by the charm of this spacious cottage, minutes walk from probably the bestest beach in Tofino. Our cottage was clean, homely and humble providing everything we could need in our time spent there. The finer details were the ‘icing’ including the abundance of fresh towels, soaps, fine oils and spices, teas and coffee to name but a few… all these things add up to make the perfect vacation. We were incredibly lucky with the weather too. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the hot bath on the veranda but would have had we had the time! We would come again if we didn’t live so far away, thank you so very much 🙏

Gem off Chesterman beach

This was our second time staying at the Hacienda and will definitely not be our last. Keane and family are incredible hosts. The property is just steps away from the beach. The space is warm and full of character. The outdoor tub is such a great experience. Looking forward to our next stay here!

Paradise

Keane and Pat were amazing hosts. This property has easily become our top 3 favourites in VRBO history. This home has everything you could possibly want. Having only gone out on 2 occasions for food, this kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary utensils and basic condiments too. The family favourite was the outdoor tub and shower with hot water. This was incredibly welcoming for post surfing lessons in a cold ocean. We have yet to repeat a VRBO stay, but this one might be a must. Thank you Keane and Pat for making our stay that much more amazing thanks to your hospitality.

Keane grew up on South Chesterman Beach and after years away has made it her home again. Her parents opened the first vacation rental in Tofino back in 1992.
Patrick is from Montreal, came west many years ago and never looked back.
We are busy with our two young boys! We love to travel and spend time outdoors on various adventures.

If there is anything you need at all during your stay (like local tips!), please do not hesitate to ask. We are more than happy to help.

South facing deck/ house has great sun exposure. High ceilings and many windows for lots of natural light and ventilation. Big garden and many plants inside. Outdoor shower and soaker bathtub. Directly across the street from a public beach access. You are so close, you can hear the surf from your cabin.
