Located less than 100m from the beach top and childrens's playground, this fresh solid 3 bedroom home will impress. A large deck with great indoor/outdoor flow is an entertainers delight. A 2 minute walk will have you in the town centre and a popular restaurant is opposite. Double garage with internal and external wheelchair access, complemented with a disabled bathroom.
The garage is lined and insulated and would sleep countless kids, also options to pitch a tent on the lawn.

Nice and closer to the beach

This is situated in a great location. Would be good to have heaters on every room. One heater wasn’t working and other room didn’t have one. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Amazing location!

We had an amazing stay in Opunake and would definitely stay again. The home was clean and homely, and the location was next level - just a quick few minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommend to all!

Quiet Place in Opunake for Big Group

Smooth check-in process. Clean and spacious rooms. Fully furnished kitchen and dining. We enjoyed cooking and hanging out in the kitchen/dining area. Highly recommended!

Great spot

Had everything we needed and was well set out and handy to shops and the beach...comfy beds and great shower No gas bottle tho... we had planned mostly bbq meals so had to grill instead

Location plus.

Great location with easy access to town and beach. The house is large and accommodating for everyone. The house had plenty of towels, linen and the kitchen well stocked. Overall cleanliness was good. Our group would stay here or recommend Argyll Retreat to other groups wanting yo visit Opunake.

Family breakaway

Second time we have stayed here great location, plenty of space in the house and well kitted out for cooking etc. Tidy and comfortable house and furnishings.

Fantastic Location

The property was amazing! Clean and tidy with plenty of space for all the family. Large outdoor deck as well. Super close to the beach and local cafes. Would definitely stay again!

Happy weekend

The accommodation was perfect...open door to a spacious faimly living area...felt like home away from home...catered to all my families needs or wants...so relaxing with beautiful indoor outdoor flow windows...bedding was numberless...could of brought the granparents as well...great cooking area and bench for the babies breakfast...beach walk just seconds away and park for kids to get away...shower was amazing big and peassure to bost about...ping pong table was a winner...played almost all night...smart tv to keep babies settled to dream land...over all 10 out of 10...a place away from home like home...relaxing flowing and great for big families or couple...highly recommended to all perfect place from shops beach and park...AS ARNOLD SAYS....ILL BE BACK LOL

Awesome stay in Opunake

Loved our stay at this property. Very homely. Great communication and a perfect location. Kitchen sink was a bit dirty with a bit of meat in the drain and the bathroom sink had toothpaste in it - maybe sinks had been forgotten while cleaning up. Everything else was clean and tidy. I did think that a lamp would be handy next to the bed 😊 all in all we would definitely stay again. Thank you very much.
