Great location but it's an uncomfortable hot box and in need of repairs and a deep clean.
Our family of 4 stayed in the property for 14 days. Pros- Great location only one street from the river and 3 mins from town.- Check in and check out was easy.- Kitchen was well stocked with equipment for cooking- Dishwasher and washing machine helped with washing and clean up.- Plenty of linen and towels.Cons- During summer it's seriosuly hot. we ran the aircon in the main room 24 hours just to keep it liveable. 1 pedestal fan and little heaters/ fans didn't provide enough airflow in the rooms.- The window in the downstairs.bedroom is broken and can't be opened without it falling out of the frame, resulting in the room having no airflow at all.-The fly wire screens have holes in them and need replacing.-- Beds are uncomfortable and the futon is very thin and hard. Thank goodness we brought an inflatable mattress otherwise our 13 year old would not have had a decent bed to sleep in.- The place is dirty, with insects, dust and dirty surfaces throughout the unit. - Dishes were dirty and needed to be re-washed.- The sheet that was put on the master bedroom when we arrived had very visible blood or rust on it and should never have been fitted to the bed by the housekeeping.- The couches were stained, dirty, uncomfortable and old.- There is no wifi or internet access despite welcome message in Stayz referencing "wifi password will be provided by host."- Gas cylinder fitted to BBQ was so badly corroded we didn't feel safe to use it. Grill plate was also rusty.
