A beautiful seaside villa, professionally decorated, features luxury amenities including a walk-out from the living room area to a private deck and then marina area. The master bedroom suite is a dream come true - beautiful tiled shower, jetted tub and more. The gourmet kitchen will please your senses. As one of the largest at over 1,800 sq ft, this 3 bedroom villa will sleep 8, features wireless internet, TV and iPod dock in every bedroom, and comes with a private boat slip for your use at no extra charge. Sunset Bay Villas also features a pool and fitness room for your enjoyment, as well as a large marina area. There's plenty of parking, and you can stroll to our historic downtown area for shopping, fine dining, movies and more. Come and enjoy! Pet friendly!

- Linens and towels are included with your reservation.
- No smoking is permitted on the premises.
- This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. Pet fee is $150 per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home all around. The location, amenities and everything about this property felt like home. Clean, modern and nicely furnished. My family enjoyed our stay very much!

Chincoteague Waterfront

Very nice condo - very clean and well stocked. Elevator was right outside the door, very convenient. Great location- I wish we had been able to stay one more night.

August 2022 Stay

This is the second year we have rented at Sunset Bay. This was our first time at this condo. We really enjoyed the extra windows and larger rooms and larger deck area. Furnishings are very nice and we enjoyed it very much. Only suggestion is replacing the chairs at the outside table. They are very flimsy and was afraid the seating would break. Everything was clean and had all the dishes,pots etc we needed. My grandkids loved it. I made some last minute changes in our reservations (adding our dog and buying the linens package) and all was done quickly and everything was ready and waiting for us. Beautiful place and we enjoyed it very much.

August 2022 Stay

We so enjoyed our stay in Sunset Bay Villa 208. The decor is beautiful and spacious. This was the first time we stayed in a condo unit on the Island and we’re concerned that it may be noisy with the adjoining units. However, inside the Villa you couldn’t hear anything. We enjoyed watching the boats on the channel and the lovely sunsets from the balcony. It was wonderful!

A great time at Sunset Bay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time! Chincoteague Resort Vacations was very responsive throughout the process. Kitchen was well stocked,but would recommend a "normal" frying pan. We did vacuum upon arrival and vacuumed up quite a bit of dirt and dog hair, it didn't seem like it had been vacuumed prior to our arrival. Have no fear, it was fully vacuumed and ready to go when we left! Overall, we had a great vacation on our favorite island!

Great place for a family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sunset Bay Villas have become our go-to for our family vacation, which includes 24 people spread among three of the condos. Every unit is different but every one is well appointed with lovely views, comfortable furniture, and plentiful parking. It's easy to walk into the historic downtown. Or just sit on the deck and watch the sun set or the Coast Guard practicing their maneuvers.

My family had the best experience ever while staying at the Sunset Bay Villa 208! The condo is gorgeous, clean, and had everything we required for another much needed Chincoteague vacation. The views from the balcony were spectacular and we were able to watch the fireworks right from the front deck. We saw dolphins swim by while having breakfast one morning on the balcony.🐬The only downside is that sewage treatment plant ( next to the condos) constant hum. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.

An absolutely stunning condo with a beautiful view.Spotless, well appointed, everything I could want with one seriously fatal flaw... 300 feet from our door are several very loud generators at the Coast Guard. You can hear it 24/7. I am sensitive to noise. It ruined anotherwise delightful experience. I asked to speak to the Realtor who owns and operates Chincoteague Resort Vacations. No call was forthcoming. They showed us three other properties...none were accessable as I am partially disabled. If you read other reviews there are others that complained about the generators yet the two women at the Realty insisted they never had a complaint, and knew nothing about the noise. I guess they don't read their own reviews.

Sunset Bay was a very nice condo. They could use a bit more items in the kitchen. Checkout requires you to vacuum/ sweep, however the vacuum cleaner is old and very bulky and I couldn’t find a broom. I would suggest updating to a cordless vacuum.

Very nice! The condo is clean, modern, spacious and nicely equipped. Check in was simple. One little snafu with the door access code was quickly resolved. All staff were professional, responsive and helpful. I liked the welcome packet and messages on the Hospitality application. Overall a good experience and great stay.

Condo was spacious and accessible for a family member who uses a walker. Great to have the elevator right outside the door. Very clean. Would have liked to have rented linens and towels, but I didn’t make the ten-day window request. Made packing one vehicle tricky with a mobility scooter and fishing gear!! Dogs loved the patio!

We had a nice time. It would have been great to have a smart TV in the unit. The weather wasn't great so we wanted to watch movies/shows. There was cable so that was great but would have been a better experience if we could have log into Neflix, Amazon, etc. Otherwise, everything was great.

Great stay on Chincoteague

Perfect for our long weekend visit to Chincoteague, short drive to wonderful beaches. The condo was clean, spacious, and has a nice deck overlooking the marina and water beyond. Highly recommended.

Any issues were immediately taken care of by the staff at Chincoteague Resort Vacations. The location is convenient to everything we need - just a quick walk up Main St to the shops or over to Maddox for some ice cream :). The balcony views are fantastic for watching the sunset and fishing off the dock has been a hit.

Bad experience

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo itself was gorgeous. Well kept, simply stunning with beautiful views. The bad and ugly is that there is a sewage treatment plant 300 feet from the door. It is loud, and 24-7. We went to the office of Chincoteague Resort Vacations Realty. They were annoyed at our request to move. They showed us unsuitable properties that were run down on the outside, or had tons of steps when I am semi disabled. The owner/manager never even called when requested.
