Enjoyed the property. A few things we noticed. The bedroom upstairs was extremely colder than the rest of the house. The bathroom has a very noisy fan and very dim light that come on together. It would be nice to have just a light switch as the noise wakes up my wife in the night. House was stocked well and was very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub but we did have bears roaming the area and passed right past the hot tub. For safety reasons the hot tub should be fenced off so bears can’t get in. It was nice and quiet and we enjoyed the deck area. Never could get the dvd to play in basement. Instructions for tvs would help. Overall we highly recommend the home.

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback and for recommending the home. We’re glad you found the house comfortable, well stocked, and enjoyed the hot tub and deck area. We appreciate you pointing out the temperature difference upstairs, the bathroom fan and lighting issue, and the challenges with the TV and DVD player, as well as your safety concern about bears near the hot tub. Your comments are very helpful, and we will review these areas for possible improvements.

The cabin was really cute and having 2 king sized beds was great. The views were amazing and we had a wonderful little snow which was so exciting since we don’t get snow much in Alabama. We also had several bear sitings which was very cool. Overall I would definitely recommend and all that area is 100%.

Gatlinburg lodge

Lodge had a fantastic location with spectacular view. Many close bear encounters. Lodge had a hole in the ceiling from previous leak and not repaired, also bathtub downstairs was draining very slowly. Otherwise it was comfortable and all amenities were wonderful.

Would recommend!

Overall great stay, great location and the cabin was clean and as advertised. Perfect distance to anywhere! Only negative would be that the Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom had debris and filthy water come out of the jets when started. Wasn't a huge deal just a minor inconvenience, the hot tub outside was great. Pool table area was a little tight but we made due and had a good stay!

Family Weekend Away

We loved this cabin. It was exactly as described online. It’s very close to downtown Gatlinburg and the artists loop. The only issue we had was the address didn’t show in google maps. If you use the regular map app on the iPhone it will show. Just a heads up for future renters 😊

Great Little Cabin

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Artsitic Mountain. Great size for our family of 4 and our dog. Yard is much smaller than expected but we made it work. I would recommend a spruce up of a few things... rocking chair was missing a rocker, toaster didn't work, hot tub cover was falling apart and is need of replacement. Overall would recommend but again with some updates!

The stay started off rough due to a dead keypad and difficulty reaching someone after 6 p.m. It took multiple tries before we could get in, and the cabin was only 57 degrees inside when we arrived because the heat was off. The downstairs tub didn’t drain well, the shower curtain fell down easily, and there were spider webs in corners and on top of cabinets. The main floor seating could be more comfortable for multiple people. On the positive side, the hot tub was nice, the pool table was fun, and the Smoky Mountain view was beautiful. Overall, it wasn’t the worst stay, but not one I’d choose again.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the challenges you encountered during your stay, as this does not reflect the standards we aim to uphold at Jackson Mountain Rentals. We understand how frustrating it must have been to experience difficulty accessing the cabin after 6 p.m. due to a dead keypad. Our records confirm the issue was reported to our 24/7 Guest Services Team and escalated to our local Property Managers and we are thrilled to report the issue has since been fully resolved. Regarding the additional concerns, our records do not indicate these were reported during your stay. Had we been notified, our Operations Team would have promptly addressed them. Nevertheless, your feedback has been shared with our Operations Team for review. Your feedback is truly valuable, as it helps us improve the overall guest experience. We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with a smoother and more enjoyable stay in the future.

Beautiful view!

The view of the Smokies from the deck, kitchen and family room were spectacular. However, the online photos of the cabin were a little misleading as the cabin is very small and there is no upstairs. There are several cabins around so there isn't much privacy. We were lucky as several people were arriving the night before we left. If you plan on going at Christmas time, this cabin does not participate in decorations, so you will have to bring your own. All and all, the cabin was nice and we had a wonderful time.

The sofa in living room is embarrassing! The visions are worn out so much they have holes in them and ripped. Looks like they belong in a college dorm. Rest of property was nice, it’s the first thing you walk into. Sad

All was good but Hot Tub was broke!! Son was very disappointed!

It was a nice / pretty place, lamps and shades a little dusty, but clean over all, beautiful view, great location from Gatlinburg. The biggest disappointment was the hot tub was not working and my son was so excited to have a hot tub. They need to get it fixed so others can enjoy it and not be disappointed like we were. thanks
