Thanksgiving G Stay

Great time with our family. Enjoyed hot tub fireplace. Games. Football and Thanksgiving dinner. Close to Gatlinburgh. Got to see bears. Awesome time

A Log cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains!!!

All four of us were very comfortable staying at this cabin for 4 days. This log cabin perfectly matches the advertised description. The views of the mountains are awesome! The proximity to downtown Gatlinburg is perfect. Not in the center of all the action and business yet comfortably close to all of the attractions.The hot tub was perfect in every way. Everything worked as it should. Beds were comfortable. Showers were nice. Television channel selections are better in the 70s but we dont care… not what we came for! The game room was entertaining. We played pool, listened to some music, and played games during the evenings. Also, we did watch a huge male Black Bear trying to open the garbage dumpster right outside our cabin. That made MY trip!!! I would highly recommend this VRBO stay in the smokys!

Beautiful view!

The view of the Smokies from the deck, kitchen and family room were spectacular. However, the online photos of the cabin were a little misleading as the cabin is very small and there is no upstairs.There are several cabins around so there isn't much privacy. We were lucky as several people were arriving the night before we left. If you plan on going at Christmas time, this cabin does not participate in decorations, so you will have to bring your own. All and all, the cabin was nice and we had a wonderful time.

We had a Wonderful Stay!

Beautiful cabin with an amazing view of the mountains! We can’t wait to visit again! Extremely dog friendly with plenty of potty space. They even had bowls and mats in the kitchen for them. We absolutely loved Artisitc Mountain!

Relaxing and refreshing!

The cabin was a great location. A little closer to other houses than I expected blocking some of our view and no view while relaxing in hot tub. However the house was very cozy and clean and just the break we needed for couple nights

Would recommend!

Overall great stay, great location and the cabin was clean and as advertised. Perfect distance to anywhere! Only negative would be that the Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom had debris and filthy water come out of the jets when started. Wasn't a huge deal just a minor inconvenience, the hot tub outside was great. Pool table area was a little tight but we made due and had a good stay!

Great Little Cabin

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Artsitic Mountain. Great size for our family of 4 and our dog. Yard is much smaller than expected but we made it work. I would recommend a spruce up of a few things... rocking chair was missing a rocker, toaster didn't work, hot tub cover was falling apart and is need of replacement. Overall would recommend but again with some updates!

Quick trip to mountains

Overall great. just needed a place to hang. Cabin is small. It slept 8 but not comfortably. probably more suited for 6.

Perfect weekend

Great view and perfect weather! We did want to let you know that the downstairs porch with the jacuzzi is very dark, and also there wasn't a lock on the jacuzzi like it was stated in the welcome book. Otherwise everything was perfect, thank you!

Family Weekend Away

We loved this cabin. It was exactly as described online. It’s very close to downtown Gatlinburg and the artists loop. The only issue we had was the address didn’t show in google maps. If you use the regular map app on the iPhone it will show. Just a heads up for future renters 😊

All was good but Hot Tub was broke!! Son was very disappointed!

It was a nice / pretty place, lamps and shades a little dusty, but clean over all, beautiful view, great location from Gatlinburg. The biggest disappointment was the hot tub was not working and my son was so excited to have a hot tub. They need to get it fixed so others can enjoy it and not be disappointed like we were. thanks

The sofa in living room is embarrassing! The visions are worn out so much they have holes in them and ripped. Looks like they belong in a college dorm. Rest of property was nice, it’s the first thing you walk into. Sad

Relaxing & Cozy Cabin

We truly enjoyed our time at the Artistic Mountain Cabin. We traveled with our almost 9 month old who can crawl and the cabin had a gate which was great to put near the stairs -- we were so thankful! We also traveled with our two dogs. We were thinking the yard near the front of the cabin was a little bigger based on the pics online, but there wasn't a big yard in the front but there is a nice size behind the cabin for them to go to the bathroom. There are 4 surrounding cabins that are all pretty close, which we weren't expecting either, but it ended up being just fine! The cabin was cleaned very well and everything we needed for the weekend was provided (trash bags, dishwasher soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc). The hot tub did take a while to heat up as it was cold when we arrived but once we set it for the right temperature it did heat up and we could use it on day 2. We highly recommend this cabin for a small family or two couples looking for a mountain getaway! Also, Pizzeria of Gatlinburg delivered and it was delicious!!

Confusion at Check In

We were given the wrong address by VRBO or the property manager. Multiple cabins at this property. Therefore when we got there the code didn’t work. We called the manager and they gave us a new code only to find out THE NEXT DAY that we were in the wrong cabin and had to move. This was extremely frustrating but the office was trying to help and arranged to let us stay where we were already set up except for the last night when we could not stay. I noticed this has happened before to someone else so I suggest to call the property manager to verify the correct cabin number before arrival. Other than this the properties were very nice. If you want to cook bring a nice pan because the pans here are so lightweight and cheap it was difficult to cook with them.

Dislikes or needs fixed.

The bedroom tv remote only works to turn on & off, occasionally you can get it to change the channel but very seldom. Could’ve used a TV guide in the bedrooms as well. There’s no light in the shower to see what your doing. The closest light is a dim light & exhaust fan, which is useless. Kitchen ceiling lights, one needs replaced. Hot tub needs serviced. The lights inside the hot tub don’t work. The jets work at 1/2 speed, making them nearly useless as well. The initial getting in process was ridiculous. It was dark when we arrived, couldn’t see getting to the porch. The code we were given didn’t work and the number to call, no one answered the first time. The second phone call was answered and the entry number was changed. Not a very good first impression. Overall stay was pleasant though.

Girl's get away

I loved how the cabin was decorated and it was very clean. The views from the front porch was awesome. The kitchen was very well equipped. The cabin is just a few minutes from everything.

Living the life in the mountains

My young adult sons and myself had the most amazing time at the cabin. They are so clean and the views were breathtaking. We even had a bear walk past our cabin!! Everything was in close proximity as well.

Awesome cabin

The cabin was clean and just as pictured. We had a great week. Our code didn’t work at arrival and a quick phone call and all was perfect again. The roads are windy through the complex but no problems whatsoever. We would definitely use this cabin again. Our only complaint was the pillows were a little rough and the water wasn’t very hot. The pool was very clean and my kids enjoyed it a few evenings. Great trip. Views were spectacular too
