Part of the exclusive PEAK group of homes at Sierra Shores, this lakefront home has been thoughtfully designed with meticulous attention to detail. From the finest bedding to the well-appointed chef's kitchen and upscale furnishings, this is a premier lakefront experience. This home is air-conditioned!

You'll be swept off your feet by the wall of windows to the water in the great room. Family memories will be made gathered around the fireplace and relaxing together after a day on the water or the mountain. The location is unbeatable - steps from the lake, within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and less than two miles from Heavenly Village and Stateline.

The state-of-the-art kitchen with Viking appliances and quality cookware has everything you need for great meals. All bedrooms feature Frette linens and designer touches. The master bathroom boasts a jacuzzi tub and steam shower.

The PEAK has partnered with the best in the region to ensure that every part of the experience, from reservations to housekeeping and amenities, exceeds your expectations.

Absolutely loved our stay at this location. The view did not disappoint. The property was very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds and very inviting. We would definitely stay here again. Location was awesome, hot tub was relaxing and there was a grocery store right across the street. Parking was a tiny bit of a challenge but the beautiful property and scenery made up for it.

Great hospitality from check in to check out. Property is in great condition and the location is unbeatable. Would never stay at a hotel again! Management took care of a minor issue promptly. Would stay here again without any hesitation.

Reviewer Comments: Perfect spot to enjoy Tahoe by the beach, walking distance to everything, luxury furnished 3 bedroom 3 bath, spacious kitchen/dining, and an amazing backyard you wouldn't want to leave, just sit relax and soak it in. Only potential issue to be aware of, especially in high season, is the parking situation if you have 2 cars. Only one car is guaranteed on premise, 2nd car goes into shared area of 5 spots for all units, I believe 16 of them +/-. I still give it a 5 on everything else.

For future guests to note, this home provides one parking spot in a covered garage (please note, the garage spot does not accommodate extra-large trucks/SUVs). There is a small first come first serve parking lot as well for an additional vehicle. For overflow parking or parking for oversized vehicles, you can park for free in the nearby city streets of Takela Dr and Fremont Ave., when snow conditions do not exist. Paid parking is also available at the Stateline casinos. We’d love to welcome you back again soon for our next adventure!

For future guests to note - our check out instructions are standard and in line with most vacation rentals in the industry. We ask for help with the trash to avoid bear break ins, which have been happening more frequently in the area due to trash and food being left in homes. We ask that dishes be put into the dishwasher and have the dishwasher running to allow our cleaners to focus on deep cleaning the home so that there is no trace of the previous guest. Amazing Property!!

This condo exceeded our expectations! The view is out of this world of stunning Lake Tahoe. The access to the lake steps away from the patio was incredible. Our kids enjoyed jumping in the lake everyday! We cooked dinner in every night in the state of the art kitchen and ate outside to enjoy the beautiful view. The pool was a huge bonus and my kids loved it! The location was prime to everything in South Lake Tahoe and a short drive to Emerald Bay in the other direction. We loved everything about this condo except that we had to leave! Wish we booked for longer! We will absolutely return for winter to ski or again for summer!

Beautiful property in a perfect location.

This property is the perfect size for 4 adults and 2 children. It is beautifully appointed and has everything needed to enjoy yourself. The location was perfect for my needs with the walking path at the entrance, private beach and being near Safeway and Whole Foods. There were a couple minor issues: the living room tv is advertised as being a Smart TV with streaming but I was not able to access any of the streaming services. It seemed as if another remote was needed for that purpose and it was nowhere to be found. There were also supposed to be instructions for the tv but there were none. The lighted mirror in the master bath did not function and I was unable to activate the heated floors. The TV only became and issue when my family came to visit one evening. I have since touched base with management on this and am awaiting enlightenment as to whether I misunderstood. (I will bring my FireStick next time I rent this unit.) The community is gated and the grounds are well maintained. Unfortunately, due to COVID, the pool, spa and gym were unavailable. Parking is very convenient and it's nice to have a garage for one vehicle. I love this place and hope to return in September!

Mixed Experience

Pros Magnificent view, well stocked kitchen, clean property, nice grassy area in the backyard which is great for kids to play, and convenient access to pool/lake Cons There is nearly zero sound proofing. There are a couple of other mention of noisy upstairs neighbors and this is indeed very true. We enquired beforehand and the rental company mentioned the upstairs unit is a short term rental too so we thought maybe the other reviewers just got bad neighbors but no, you hear EVERY single footstep. This becomes especially problematic when your upstairs neighbor decides 3 AM is a good time to pack and head out. Our entire family of 2 adults and 2 small children were basically up all night. Keep in mind we also use white noise for sleep which didn’t help at all. The check in process was easy although finding the location was difficult at night (9PM) because none of the navigation systems show where it is correctly. We tried calling the support number and no one picked up. I wonder what would’ve happened if we had a true emergency during the check in process? I guess during the day it’s not a problem as it’s right at a traffic light with a sign. The beach this property is in front of smells horrible. There is also a warning sign at the gate that states there is harmful algae present in the water, so naturally we could not use it. This was a huge disappointment for us. Overall, despite the magnificent view and lush green backyard, I am not sure I’d come back to this location.

We appreciate your helpful feedback on the stay as well. For future guests to note, the Sierra Shores community consists of two units per building, so you will be sharing walls with other guests. Although most of our guests do not have issues, we’re sorry to hear this was difficult for you over your stay, Sagar. We have detailed check-in instructions in our Welcome Packets sent to each guest, but if you do have trouble, we also offer an emergency phone number that allows you to speak with a team member of RnR on call after hours. Lastly, we’re so sorry the algae showed up over your dates. This was an unprecedented event for Tahoe this summer due to the low lake levels. The algae has retreated and is less pungent now. Only negative is that the property is directly on the busy Main Street of town - can hear the noise from rev’ing car engines, and police/ambulance sirens. But once you look out the back at the lake, all of those noises seem to go away. I have rented several condos around the US and I must say this is the nicest one yet - and it lives up to its description from the website. Thanks for a great vacation location - our family really enjoyed our first trip to Tahoe!
