Relaxing time at a great house

Vince was a great host and has a great house for our getaway. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and a nice backyard to eat, play and chat in.

Family Spring Break

My daughters and grandkids had an enjoyable time. The pool table and hottub were a hit. The house is spacious and the patio area very relaxing. I was concerned about some things on previous reviews and am glad to say that we had no issues.

Needs maintenance

The house was beautiful, but there were major issues with the property. It wasn’t real clean, the hot tub was gross, the kitchen sink didn’t work, and one of the beds was broken. The pool table was fun and had it been in warmer weather the pool looked great!

Spring break

I had some confusion connecting with the host about checkin procedures but everything worked out. The home was very inviting and we had more than enough space. The pool was immaculate but to cold to swim in. The grandkids did but their feet in. The hot tub was very nice once my daughter added water and reconnected the filter. Absolutely adored the outside space, it was so relaxing. The fire table was not operational.

Nice house with issues

Group of 4 stayed for about week. Amenities in the house do not support 5 adults. For example, coffee pot is tiny and only makes 2 cups at a time. House was not clean - bathrooms were quite dirty and moldy coffee grounds left in coffee pot. Main kitchen sink does not work and contact gives “tap the sink” instructions that don’t work. Just fix the sink. Beds are extremely noisy and squeak. Generally nice house but it’s clear the owner pays as little attention as possible in making it a quality property and does the bare minimum. I would recommend choosing a place elsewhere.

Honest Review

We checked in on a Saturday with no issues. Saturday night we had an issue in the kitchen that required a plumber. Our host was wonderful and had it fixed by Sunday afternoon. The house over all is wonderful with a few exceptions. The room with the pool table is too small and made it difficult to play. The pool and hot tub are 2 areas that we were excited about, but were left disappointed. The hot tub was not clean when we got there and it took until Wednesday to get this fixed. The back yard looks wonderful with the pool and trees, however don't let this fool you. The trees are an issue. They attract birds that left the back pool deck with bird droppings everywhere and drop leaves in the pool that clog the skimmer basket. They also keep the sun from getting to half of the pool which left the water cold. The pool vacuum that has a $250.00 fine for disconnecting, never worked and trapped leaves from getting to the skimmer. If you like a cold pool that you have to continue to clean the leaves out of, this shouldn't be a problem.

Thanksgiving Stay

The house is beautiful. The pool is not heated and the leaves from the trees are floating in the pool. The hot tub was filthy! It had sediment from the trees on the seats and floor of tub. There was also a mask or feminine pad at the bottom of the tub. We contacted the owner. He was going to send out his pool person. Never showed up. I asked for a refund and so far, I have been ghosted. The home is lacking towels for more than a 2 day stay. We were provided 2 towels and one wash cloth per bedroom. We stayed for 5 nights and had to go buy our own. If you have other options, please strongly consider them.

Spacious Home

The home was very spacious - I had 8 family members staying in the home because of my daughter's wedding. We had several other family members pop in and visit with us during the day and there was no problems with seating or crowdedness - great floor plan for entertaining and a good outdoor space too. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe when anyone took a walk or run. The home was clean, with a modern, updated design. We didn't have extra sheets or blankets for the blow-up mattress but managed by borrowing from my daughter who lives in Tempe. The shower water in the master bath didn't get very warm and so the hall bath shower was in high demand, but again we were able to manage this - we did use the large jetted tub in the master bathroom. The kitchen faucet was pretty finicky with turning itself off - none of us could actually figure out how to keep the faucet running - but again, this was very minor. There was only a 2-cup coffee maker in the home - and with eight adults - the coffee maker seemed in constant use. Overall, the home was very nice and we would recommend it to others.

Fantastic!

This home and neighborhood are both amazing! Vince, the owner, has not only been a remarkable host, he has gone above and beyond to make sure that we were well informed about all of the great local restaurants! I wish that all VRBO hosts showed as much commitment to their guests as Vince has.

NOT CLEAN ...

4 OF OUR 7 GUESTS GOT STREP THROAT WITHIN 36 - 48 HOURS OF LEAVING THE HOME AFTER A 2 DAY STAY... ITEMS FROM OTHER GUESTS LEFT AT THE HOME AND IN THE BED, UNDER THE BED AND IN DRESSER DRAWERS SHOW THIS HOME WAS NOT CLEANED PROPERLY. CODE THAT WAS FINALLY GIVEN BY PROPERTY MANAGER WAS WRONG. THANKFULLY, THE OWNER WAS ABLE TO UNLOCK AND GIVE ME THE CORRECT CODE WITHIN MINUTES. WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING, AND MANGING THE PROPERTY SHOULD BE FIRED. WE WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE EVER AGAIN.

It was a nice house but they were to strict.

It was a nice house it had a pool but it was hard to swim because the vacuum of the pool was on and all over the pool. Also the backyard was dark and you couldn’t be outside in the night because there wasn’t any light. The refrigerator smelled bad and it did not keep the food fresh. In the shower the water did not drain. There wasn’t any warm water in the master bedroom.

Chilling 4th of July!

A couple of things to think about before you go with this property. First: jacuzzi water was green and looked unsanitary. I contacted property number which I spoke to someone who said they would check into it. I never received a phone call back letting me know the end result. Second: There was no warm water in the showers! All five of us took cold water showers for 4 days straight. I notified same person and nothing was done. The pool water was warmer than the shower. Third: When the jacuzzi guy showed up it was 30 min prior to are departure and he just let himself in the backyard and said nothing about who he was or what he was doing!! Fourth: The lady who checks on property which she said it was her friend's property she also let's herself in the back to take out trash bins without notifying anyone of her presence. I've stayed with VRBO properties the entire time of the pandemic and this one seemed very disorganized and not up to par on customer satisfaction. I realize because of the holiday weekend it possibly prolonged these things getting fixed but still disappointing when spending this much money. The house is beautiful and would be a great choice if these things were changed.

Great property in the Phoenix area

I'd like to start with all the positive feedback! The house was very clean, in a great location and neighborhood, the owner was very responsive to our texts and questions. The beds were very comfortable as well. Our only complaint is that we chose this house because it had a pool. We knew the weather would be hot, and we wanted a relaxing vacation by a pool. When we arrived, the pool was literally ice cold (almost like they filled it the day before). It was a very clean pool, just freezing, and no way to safely swim in that temp. We ended up renting some day passes two of our vacation days at a local hotel so we could enjoy a pool. This was unfortunately an extra expense we did not anticipate. If you are thinking about this house and want a pool, I'd suggesting emailing the owner to inquire about the temp. Other than the pool, we highly rate this house.

Lovely home, girls vacation and this was perfect. Pool was a little chilly this time of year, hot tub made up for that. We would go back to this house in a heart beat, so quiet n spotless...very accommodating for us.
