Welcome to the Log Escape, a newly constructed log home in the heart of the Village of Harrison Hot Springs; only an hour’s drive from Vancouver, BC.

This state-of-the-art 2,800 square foot smart home sits on a fully fenced 17,000 square foot private property that backs onto the Miami River. The home features easy water access with rich, panoramic views of Mount Cheam and its surrounding landscapes; plus, an easy walk to the Village’s hot springs, pool, beaches, marina, lakes and restaurants.

The home's main floor has a spacious open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen area with attached laundry, powder room, and Master Bedroom; complete with a deep soaker tub and shower en suite. The upstairs area has 3-bedrooms, a full bathroom and kid-friendly entertaining Loft area. Outside, the property features sprawling back and side yards with two fully furnished patios and BBQ/eating areas. There is even an ever-growing supply of lawn games to keep everyone entertained!

The key to our home is its state-of-the-art smart features. The property has full WiFi coverage through-out and programable smart lighting and thermostat that allow you to maintain your ideal ambiance and temperatures during your stay. Pluto TV, Tubi, YouTube Music, and YouTube are a few of the many streaming services we offer to keep you entertained.

The house also features smart lock technologies that allow for your bedrooms to be unlocked all the time OR to be always locked (like a private hotel room); requiring a provided fob to access them...Your choice! Though we only ever rent to a single Group at a time and our posted rate is for the use of all 4 bedrooms, we do have the ability to lock off bedrooms that you may not need for a reduced rate. Should this offering interest you, simply submit an inquiry and we can see what savings can be offered.

All in all, the Log Escape is a fully customizable, rustic property that makes getting away relaxing, while still having the conveniences of home!

A family wedding brought a us to the Harrison Hot Springs area. This home was the perfect home away from home for our group. The house is beautiful nestled into the mountains and surrounded by gorgeous gardens and wildlife. Inside you’ll find cozy gathering spaces and fluffy beds to lay down in at the days end. The kitchen is well stocked for the most discerning chef to create tasty meals. Danny’s an excellent host and makes himself available prior and during your holiday so you’re set up for success. The only complaint I have is the many miles before our next return.

The house was beautiful, spacious, modern and comfortable. The owner set up an extra dining table and chairs for us. We were a family of ten and the 4 grandchildren played in the immaculate huge grassed backyard.There were so many indoor games, outdoor toys, buckets and spades, colouring books and pencils for them to play with. There are two decks, one has a sofa and chair and stays in the shade mostly and the other has patio table and chairs and two lovely hanging whicker chairs and that is in a sunny area, so you can find sun or shade if you need it. You can literally see from the front door the Main Street in Harrison Hot Springs and it is only 2 blocks away. There were more than enough dishes, plates and cups etc for us all. The owners were there to answer any questions we had. We received a beautiful bottle of wine and chocolates on our arrival with a lovely welcome note.

A great place!

This beautiful log house in Harrison was a perfect place for our family to get together. The weather was gorgeous and the view of Mt. Cheam from the big back deck was spectacular!

Fantastic property! First class. Luxury accomodations!

This property does NOT disappoint! Seven guys on a golfing weekend, and no complaints from a bunch of nit-picking middle-aged guys! The log cabin is very impressive and luxurious; the kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful! Thank you to the property owner for your friendliness and for the ease of check-in. We will stay here again if we decide to go to Harrison Hot Springs again!

Great location….beautiful log house….

This log house is ideal for family gatherings…it’s a beautiful house with lots of space for 12 people…..the air hockey table upstairs was a big hit with our younger members. Ideal location…tucked away 1 1/2 blocks from Harrison village it provides you with peace and quiet and a soothing view of the Miami River….but it’s a short stroll if you want to enjoy all the village has to offer. The kitchen has high end appliances and the 2 bathrooms are luxurious… Thanks Danny….we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Log Escape.

Perfect family getaway.

We just returned from a 5 night stay at this amazing property. It is a beautiful house and is situated in a perfect location. It is a very short walk to the lake, no car/parking required which is a huge bonus. The property is close to the village, restaurants, coffee and gift shops. There is a large, fenced garden which was perfect for our small grandchildren to play in at the end of our 'beach' days. Lots of outdoor seating for relaxing or dining. The kitchen and laundry facilities are superb. Air conditioned, extremely spacious, and comfortable. The owner, Danny, was very quick to respond to any questions I had before and during the trip. Very helpful and friendly. Would 100% stay again.

Pictures don’t do it justice!

We had an amazing stay at the Log Escape home - the pictures don’t do it justice!!! Booking, arrival, and preparation were expertly handled (Danny even knew how many people we needed seating for and added an addition to the dinning table for us). It was a tailored experience with even the temperature and lock settings selected just for our group. There is signage to help with everything from accessing wifi to making coffee which was helpful and saved time. The home itself is stunning, clean, and perfect for a large family (we had 7 adults and 5 kids). The view of the mountains and river when you look from the main windows is gorgeous. The decks are perfect for enjoying the view and very comfortable. The backyard is massive and great for the kids to run around. Bathrooms are beautiful. Kitchen is massive and well stocked with equipment. The home is also in a perfect location. Tucked away from main roads, but a two minute walk into the main area of Harrison (and Rocky Mountain ice cream!). We were able to stroll to and from the lake with ease. We can’t wait to come back next year. Thank you Danny for hosting our much-loved family vacation!!!

Exceptional Vacation Home!

My family of 6 adults and 2 small children just returned from our vacation at ‘The Log Escape’ at Harrison Hot springs. I don’t know what else to say except this warm and welcoming log home is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the mountains, river and surrounding landscape. Located close to all things Harrison we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Danny was the consummate host making sure everything was exactly what we needed! We highly recommend staying here, we only wish we’d had more time!

This unique house is wonderful to spend nice time with family, friends. We enjoyed it a lot. House is very cozy in&out with awesome view and warm welcoming atmosphere. Beautiful log home

House is stunning and fabulously located in town within short walking distance to restaurants and beach. Danny was an excellent host and made check-in/out a breeze. House was very clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and everything was new. I would highly recommend this property. Ladies retreat

Our Stay at the Log Escape was wonderful! The home is beautifully constructed and picturesque. Has everything you need and more for a getaway and lots of room for a large gathering. Only 1 block from town, yet a very quiet street on the river with lots of birds and loons to watch. Had thoughtful details throughout and immaculate yard and decks to lounge on. Danny was very helpful, prompt and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Girls weekend

This property is beautiful! Both inside and outside. The place is ultra clean and well organized. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, flatware, glasses etc. Nice pots and pans but if it’s a foodie weekend I’d suggest bringing a bigger fry pan and serving dishes. Lovely outdoor sitting area with great furniture. The king bed is amazing as are the bath tubs. Danny was very accommodating and pleasant to work with This was a perfect 65th birthday weekend away.

Stop scrolling! This is the place you want!

First of all the owner of the property was really easy to work with. Very accommodating and considerate. The property is got to be the best in Harrison. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Beautiful scenic back yard views of the mountains and the quiet tranquil lillies in the river. Several fruit trees line the back of the yard with a huge tree in the corner offering lots of lovely shade. Plenty of parking and it is a very easy and quick walk to the lagoon. We couldn’t have parked any closer if we tried. All the amenities we could ask for. Spacious fridge and freezer and plenty of cupboard room. Enough utensils and plates to accommodate our 10 guests. The grass was so well maintained we sat on it for hours playing cards and drinking beverages. The location is super quiet. We couldn’t hear cars or highways or noise of any kind. Honestly this was one of the best places we have stayed at. All my guests raved about it. Props to me for selecting this as our summer getaway loacation.

Great location, perfect for a weekend get away.

Great location, just a few short steps away from Harrison Lake. Amazing property, cannot stress how nice the backyard is, it's both large and well maintained. Host was very upfront with their rules and was very good at communicating with us. Plenty of beds and a large kitchen, which meant that we were able to comfortably accommodate 12 people. Very pleasant stay, I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Paradise Found.

This house is absolutely stunning and perfect for families or a romantic getaway. From booking to checkout, the process was seamless and Danny made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is quiet and peaceful, but super close to the lake and restaurants. The house is beautifully designed and well equipped. We are already looking forward to returning.
