Come enjoy a relaxing get away in our spacious timber framed chalet.
With 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, spacious open concept dining - living area, there is ample room for everyone!
After your day on the mountain hiking-skiing-mountain biking-zip lining, come unwind in the sauna or enjoy the evening sun on the deck over looking the rolling hills of Strathcona Park.
This modern home has 2 single car garages, a living area, family room, laundry room, and 4 showers ensuring noone has to wait their turn.
Full kitchen and large dining room ensures there is room to eat at the dining table or eat up at the kitchen bar, there is ample space for everyone to stretch out and enjoy your time on the hill!
There is a Living Room and a Family Room that is set up with comfy couches and smart tvs ready for you to relax and enjoy a movie or catch up on the evening news. There is basic cable, Netflix and Prime TV available.
BBQ available out on the deck to provide choices for dinner!
A quick drive (3 mins) to the bottom of the Hawk Chair, where there is day parking, lift purchases, bathroom and a chair lift to get you where you need to go no matter what the season!

Beautiful place with lots of room for family and friends. A fully stocked kitchen and great room layouts. The sauna is a wonderful addition. Would definitely recommend. Next time we will be booking a longer stay.

Big place, great for friends and family

This place is a great size for multiple families and we enjoyed the stay. The driveway is on a 45 degree angle which made it difficult to get in and out of vehicles with little ones in the slushy snow. It has beautiful views and was a quick drive to the ski hill.

This property was perfect for our family vacation! We had 10 people and there was more than enough room. Everyone was very comfortable ! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bbq came in handy too. Location was so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend to any large group!

Magical Christmas Stay

This chalet is great for a magical family stay. Lots of bedrooms, lots of bathrooms and a great room with a gorgeous view. Property manager ironed out the wrinkles and we had a fabulous stay. If you are a large family I highly recommend this property.

Family Reunion

The house was a perfect fit for our family reunion. The Strathcona Provincial Park provided wonderful hiking trails and swimming in the beautiful lakes. We also enjoyed salmon fishing and kayaking in Courtenay.

The property was beautiful and perfectly suited our needs. With a bathroom in every bedroom and lots of space to spread out and relax! Huge kitchen and we eally enjoyed the sauna too! Covered parking garage was also a unique feature! Will come again!

Beautiful chalet on a very steep driveway

Chalet was as advertised with a well stocked kitchen, lovely views, comfortable beds, 2 enormous tvs. Our only issue was with the driveway. The pictures online show a perfectly cleared driveway however this was not the case when we arrived. A bobcat came by and removed most of the snow but we were left with a sheet of ice. No salt or sand in the garage. Was kind

Wonderful space for family gathering

The house was perfect for our family gathering of nine. Good sleeping spaces and lots of bathrooms. We made full use of the very well stocked kitchen, large barbecue (with very good barbecue tools). Nice living room space with fireplace for gathering and board games. Also family room upstairs used by teens occasionally wanting their own space. This house suited us to a tee!

Very little privacy

We were shocked to discover that 2 of the bedrooms didn't have doors! This made it uncomfortable for my guests. The coffee pots still had old coffee filters with used coffee and not cleaned. The b'que is filthy. The driveway is so steep it was a hazard as our cars slid in the snow. We had trouble both getting in and out of it.

I hope you feel the love, warmth and care we have tried to include in our Chalet. From the locally made prints to show off local sights of Vancouver Island, to the comfy furniture, oversized dining table to ensure everyone has a spot, to the sauna with music, and even the 6 bathrooms to ensure everyone gets their shower time!! We have tried to make sure we have thought things through to ensure you enjoy your get away.

We have a heated driveway so you dont need to waste your winter vacation shovelling!
We have two garages to give you space to park. An area to wash your bike after a long day enjoying the trails. 4 showers and 2 hot water tanks to ensure you get a hot shower after a day exploring!
