Day or night, this absolute waterfront location is amazing!
You will be delighted with your stay at any time of year... whether it be enjoying lazy summer afternoons in the shared backyard under the shade of the pines, taking a dip in the clear and sandy waters... OR in the cooler months cozying up inside or out - by the waterside firepit!
The spacious living helps you feel at ease as you enjoy the water views direct from the lounge. The accommodation is fully self-contained with kitchenette, bathroom & laundry.
Experience the changing moods of the basin - from the ever so peaceful and calm days where there is not a ripple in the water to watching a storm roll in. Oh and be sure to check out the sunsets!
There is a bbq (available upon request) and picnic table available if you like to eat outdoors or you can venture to the many local venues the Bay and Basin has to offer.

Place was cute and had great views. We enjoyed our stay. It would be helpful to have a proper kitchen knife or scissors among the other cooking utensils. But otherwise everything was great.

Relaxing stay

Was a really nice stay, we brought our kayaks with us and had a great time on the water. Was really quiet and we enjoyed the location. John was lovely to deal with.

Very peaceful stay

John was very friendly and showed us to the property on arrival. The space was large for two people and we loved the chairs out the back that let us unwind under the stars in front of the lake. Super peaceful and we will come back if we’re in the area again!

Hidden gem

Right on the lake, self contained accomodation with compact kitchen and lots of gadgets, just a short drive to shops for salad, prawns and wine, beautiful sunsets, and owner was more than happy to bring out his bbq, what more do you need.

Stay

The property is beautiful, it is spacious and with everything you need to cook. Once you arrive there is really no reason to leave. It was soo nice to stay at this place, however, cleanliness of the place could be improved.

Great location and cozy views

The house in general is very cozy and good for weekend getaway to have bbq nights in a seaview , quite area! The host is very hospitable! The only thing was that the shower needed fixing , which makes it a bit uncomfortable to shower.

Tranquil Getaway

The Basin Pines is the perfect getaway to enjoy the Jervis Bay area. Easy access by car or foot to local shops and restaurants, and a quick drive to Vincentia/Huskison for markets and walking tracks. The view from the door is incredible, and despite the rain, it was still a great swim in the bay out front. The bonfire was also a fantastic add on. John was really helpful with check in/check out and had great communication. It is spacious and clean, and has a well equiped kitchenette. The wifi and reception are good and it is an easy drive from Sydney. Look forward to staying again soon!

St Georges Basin

Host was friendly, room was nice and as shown/described in ad. Had a big TV with Netflicks and nice outlook over st Georges Basin, and is direct waterfront. What wasn't in the decription of the property was the view and garden directly out side your unit sliding window is shared with other guests staying at the front of the property. The garden to the water is only the width of the block so you cannot wander up and down the waterfront. There are neighbours to the garden on each side, so if someone has kids or dogs that all becomes part of your experience. If someone gets to the outdoor area before you, your only view is the view of other people sitting infront of your view. Possibly lighting a firepit while you sit in your unit watching them. I guess you could go and join them but that's hardly the point of a get away for two or worth the price we paid of close to $400 a night. Access to Jervis Bay was great and other cute coastal towns. The area has lovely beaches and we went fishing which was great.

Private paradise

This was a great private get away for two. There was something just magical having breakfast by the water every morning and having a drink together watching the amazing sunset. The place is beautiful and quiet for a perfect get away from busy life.

Absolute waterfront

It really is absolutely waterfront, cannot fault the outlook. Inside is spacious, and the bedroom very comfortable and cosy. Nice bathroom and laundry. Big TV in the lounge The kitchenette besides as listed also has an electric hotplate and frypan. Other than that, your cooking equipment is very minimal. One pot, one pan, no lid. No colander, one chopping board, minimal cutlery, no egg cups. Luckily we managed to request the BBQ. Not clean. There is no under cover area, but the weather was kind. Absolute bonus is the outdoor table between the pines, so nice and shady. There is a firepit right beside the water. It was ready and waiting for us... but do remember to bring your matches to light up. We really enjoyed SUPping and kayaking, perfect spot. And an Osprey on look out in the Pines was a delight. And the visit from the local kookaburras.

Beautiful, tranquil and everything you need for a reenergising getaway

Absolutely beautiful location, right on the waterfront. Peaceful with nature, occasional wildlife saying hello and dream-like scenery. Be sure to enjoy the campfire, sunsets and stars! (Weather permitting) The accommodation had everything - bbq, benches, cooking equipment, toiletries. Can't fault the amenities. John, the host, was an absolute legend. Super friendly, accommodating to us, and went above and beyond as a host in all aspects! Will definitely be recommending this to friends and family. Thanks again mate, Chris & Angie.

Wonderful hideaway on the water.

Perfect location on the waterfront for our boating and fishing Easter weekend. Serene spot looking straight out over green grass onto the Basin with its own boat ramp. Great accommodation with large rooms well equipped kitchen and very comfy bed only 12 mins or so to Huskisson with all its shops and restaurants. The terrific host John went out of his way to help us for which we are very grateful and is super friendly and welcoming. We can't speak highly enough of him. Loved all of our stay here in perfect weather and will definitely return.
