Hi, I’m Lucy, and I’m delighted to welcome you to Dardanup Little Farm. I’ve always loved the Ferguson Valley and the relaxed country lifestyle of the South West. Dardanup Little Farm was created as a place where guests can slow down, enjoy the countryside and experience everything this beautiful region has to offer. I’ve taken great care to create a comfortable, welcoming country home with plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. Being just a short walk from Dardanup village and close to the Ferguson Valley’s wineries, breweries, restaurants and beautiful countryside makes it a wonderful base for exploring the region. I’m also involved in the local wine industry, so I’m always happy to share recommendations for cellar doors, local produce, walks and places worth discovering. Guests can also enquire about arranging a private wine tasting experience at nearby Hackersley Estate. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend in the wine country, a family getaway or simply a chance to escape the city, I hope Dardanup Little Farm feels like your own little country retreat.

I chose Dardanup because it has that rare combination of beautiful countryside, a strong local community and easy access to everything that makes the South West special. I love the slower pace of life here. From the rolling green hills and vineyards of the Ferguson Valley to the forests, walking trails and farmland surrounding Dardanup, there is always something beautiful to see. The area is particularly special in spring, when the countryside comes alive with wildflowers and the hills are at their greenest. I also love that Dardanup still feels like a real country village. You can walk down to the local bakery for breakfast, enjoy a meal at the tavern, and then spend the afternoon exploring the wineries, breweries and restaurants scattered throughout the valley. For me, the best part is the combination of food, wine, nature and community. You can spend a day visiting cellar doors and enjoying a long lunch, go for a bushwalk or mountain-bike ride, discover local art and history, or simply sit outside and watch the countryside change as the light moves across the hills. It feels wonderfully peaceful without being remote — Bunbury is close by and Perth is an easy drive — which is exactly what makes Dardanup such a special place to call home.

What makes Dardanup Little Farm special is the combination of a beautiful French-inspired country house, five acres of peaceful farmland and a location that lets you enjoy the best of both country life and the Ferguson Valley. The house has a warm, homely character rather than feeling like a typical holiday rental. There is space to spread out, relax and spend time together, while the surrounding farmland gives you a real sense of being in the country. One of the things I love most is the location. Dardanup Little Farm is just a short walk from Dardanup village, yet once you are back at the house it feels wonderfully peaceful and private. You can start the morning with a walk to the village, spend the day exploring Ferguson Valley's wineries, breweries and restaurants, and come home to the quiet of the farm. The property also has a genuine connection to the local wine industry. Guests can enquire about arranging a private wine tasting experience at nearby Hackersley Estate, making the stay an opportunity to experience the region rather than simply having somewhere to sleep. It is this combination of country character, space, village convenience and wine-country experiences that makes Dardanup Little Farm different.
