It had a beautiful view of the ocean and bay friendly people at the office where u check in

We loved our stay, the only thing I could suggest is a tv in the bedroom but other than that it was perfect!

Close to beach!

Great location! Small but comfortable. Included linens and towels and lots of pillows. Included 2 beach chairs and an umbrella which we would not have brought if we had known they were included.

Peaceful Renovation

It was quiet at the end of the day when construction workers stopped. Being on the 9th floor also helped lessen the noise The renovation work being done while necessary was not disclosed before renting. Should give a discount.

Property was clean. Very small kitchen but workable. Could have used more comforters for the pull out couch. Air conditioning worked ok but it was very hot there upon arrival. Pool hours also were terrible. Having a teenager and the pool closing at 8pm was not convenient at all…

Overall, it was decent. The place is on the smaller side, but it was suitable for 2 adults and a child. Kitchen was very small though. Could really only fit 1 adult at a time in there.The good: Balcony was great with views of the ocean and the bay. Plus pretty much in the shade the whole day being the way the building is located.On the further end of the North side which was nice to be away from all the big crowds.Pool on site was decent size. 3 foot to 8 foot in depth, plus a smaller kiddie pool next to it. Check in and out was decent, but have to go to 68th street to do such at the rental office, which was about 3 or so miles away.The bad:Pool is only open till 8pm sharp.Back balcony sliding door is really tough to open and close...it sticks a lot and may be tough for the elderly. Gotta put some umph into it to open and close it.It was somewhat clean, but was some grime where the utensils were, so we rewashed the stuff we used and gave it a good wipe down everywhere. There were some clothes in the dryer that must've been left from the last tenants. Kinda gross to have to touch other peoples underwear to get it out. Cleaning crew should at least check this kind of stuff I would think.Bedroom is positioned in the front of the unit, and does not get as cool at night compared to the living room area. Definitely bring a fan.There wasn't a lot of room to put your things in the closet areas. There were paint buckets, and other stuff left there filling that space.

Very Disappointed

We were very disappointed with the condition of the property. The couch in the living room was awful. It was in terrible condition and extremely uncomfortable. The kitchen supplies were minimal and some of the items were never cleaned. The garbage disposal still had food in it and the washing machine had items left in it. I did not appreciate having to take a person's underwear out of the machine. The vanity in the bathroom is falling apart as well as the dresser in the bedroom. We did not have a vacuum cleaner to use and had to use a worn-out broom that had a wad of hair attached to it. We did not have an iron or ironing board. The bedroom closet had stuff thrown on the floor so we had to clean it up so we could put our luggage in it. The prior tenant spilled a liquid (looked like coffee) on the living room floor which I had to clean up. The last two nights the air-conditioning was not working correctly so the temps were no lower than 75 degrees, so we ended up leaving on Friday because it was too hot. The shower doors had mildew growing on the caulking. A parking permit was not enclosed with the keys and had to make a phone call to get a parking permit and had to wait until Sunday for a permit. We are very upset due to the price we paid for a condo that is in the condition this one was in. This unit should not be rented until the above items are addressed. I'm surprised Vrbo did not inspect this unit prior to renting it so we will no longer use Vrbo.

Deceiving pictures

This apartment was nothing like the pictures. It was old and run down. Hazardous materials in the closets. Furniture was old and uncomfortable. You could hardly walk in the kitchen. Pool closed at 8.

The condo was perfect for a weekend getaway. The balcony was gorgeous with views of the bay and ocean. The place was clean and just as expected. The check in process was very easy and the location was perfect. Highly recommend
