Welcome to AWA, a luxurious condominium complex located in Playacar – one of Playa del Carmen’s safest and most prestigious gated communities. This resort-style complex includes the longest pool in the Mayan Riviera, two rooftop infinity pools, a world-class gym, outdoor fire pits, a snack bar, and two swim-up bars that offer refreshments at very reasonable prices.

----- Our Unit -----

Our loft-style home is the largest unit in AWA. It includes four bedrooms and four bathrooms, with three en-suite washrooms and two walk-in closets. This home is designed to embrace the indoor/outdoor lifestyle and has 2292 square feet (240 square meters) of living space spread across two separate floors. A private pathway from the patio leads you through tropical foliage to the main pool and outdoor lounge area.

Eat: Enjoy cooking meals on our large Weber BBQ or in our fully equipped kitchen. Dinners can be shared and enjoyed on our beautiful locally sourced live-edge Parota dining table or at the breakfast bar.

Sleep: Two master-style bedrooms on the top floor feature king sized beds and en-suite bathrooms. On the bottom floor are two bedrooms - one with two queen sized beds and an en-suite/walk-in closet and another bedroom with a queen sized bed and adjacent bathroom. For additional sleeping space there is pull-out sofa that sleeps two people.

Relax: The open concept, high ceilings, and many windows in the main living space provide ample natural lighting and a relaxing ambiance. Bar stools at the kitchen counter and a large dining room table offer plenty of space to eat and enjoy meals together. The living area includes a sofa, ultra-comfy armchair, and a huge flatscreen TV with cable and Netflix.

Playacar beach is one of the nicest beaches in all of Playa del Carmen. Both the beach and the famous tourist restaurant district - 5th avenue are about 1 mile away. This can be a 15 – 20 min walk or a quick jaunt in a taxi. Directly across the street from the complex are several restaurants, a French bakery/café, a convenience store, and a full laundry service that washes and folds all your clothes for very reasonable rates.

Please note that this is a residential building and there are strict rules on noise levels and quiet times. We want you to have a great time while visiting Playa del Carmen but not at the expense of others around you. From 9am to 10pm, moderate noise is permitted, meaning music, tv, talking at a moderate level. From 10pm to 9am, noise to be kept to a talking level.

Electricity costs are extremely high in Mexico. Any consumption will be charged at a rate of 4 pesos (about 20 US$ cents) per kWh, according to the meter readings at your check-in and check-out. Turning off the air conditioners when out enjoying Playa is usually enough to stay within a very reasonable and cheap consumption.
