LaHaven Skippers Retreat is a century home renovated from top to bottom. Sit on the deck or sunroom watching the LaHave River, enjoying a BBQ at the end of a fun day of exploring, swimming, sailing, surfing, kayaking, paddleboard at nearby beaches, or biking, antiquing on the Lighthouse Trail. Hiking the coast or behind house in 56 acres of forest trails for ‘forest bathing’ is also available. Farmhouse kitchen offers all amenities imaginable. Full bathroom with shower and laundry on first floor, as well as pantry completes the package.
Dining, living room and sunroof flow into one.
Library is fully stocked, and games, painting, yoga mat available.
2nd floor has 3 piece bathroom with heated floor, walk in shower, fluffy towels.
4 bedrooms are each uniquely decorated. LaHave River Yacht Club just down river allows access to the River if you bring your kayak, paddle boards.
This uniquely stunning family home is perfect for family reunions, girls getaways with add ons available of yoga on the deck, or experience a sail on the river, or bring your ATV to hit the trails.

Val is a professional Captain and settled in Nova Scotia 16 years ago, and fully renovated this farmhouse. Then she designed and built a second home for her Mom, just up the hill. Now she has designed and built an off grid cabin further up the hill for herself to live in while her house is rented out. Next will be renovating the boat house as an additional rental unit, right on the water

I was looking for a place connected to the ocean, so I could have my sailboat moored right out in front of my home. The proximity to the South Shore hub of Bridgewater, fab beaches 10 min away, with Lunenburg and Mahone Bay, Lighthouse Trail close by for great day tripping.

This custom designed property offers great spaces for a large group to gather, or to find space away from the group, to enjoy the peace and quiet. The proximity to town makes it handy for shopping, while some of the best beaches are a stones throw away in opposite direction.
