This roomy 4 Bedroom/ 3 Bath Townhome in Mammoth Lakes California is a great

choice for families. In the winter this unit is located just a few steps away

from the Red Line Shuttle stop for your skiing convenience, enjoy a day of

outdoor delights or take a short walk to shopping, restaurants, and movie

theaters. In the evenings, dine out and taste Mammoth's nightlife or dine in

and relax in front of the big-screen TV and take in a movie. Enjoy this

spacious vacation home with a common area spa, sauna, and laundry facilities.

All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to

enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness

facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Approx 1900 sq.ft with 2

parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is

required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative

options. Living room: 55" Flatscreen TV, DVD/VCR/CD,** High Speed Wireless

Internet ** , kitchen, dining, woodstove, full bath and deck. Master Bedroom:

King bed. Bedroom #2: 2 twin beds and shared full bath. Bedroom #3: 1 queen

Great price lots of space

Good Location

The place itself was very nice and cozy, and the location was excellent, right next to a shuttle stop. The check-in process required going to a separate office which was fast and nearby, but still a little less easy than getting a lock code. The property manager was quick to respond to any messages. The only issue, and unfortunately kind of a major one, was that there was broken glass left by one of the beds that was not cleaned up before we arrived, and one of our group cut his hand while reaching for a dropped phone. Hopefully this is a one-time thing, but still definitely a hazard. However, after communicating the issue, the property manager was understanding and offered a partial refund. Overall a great place, just with the issue of the uncleaned broken glass.

Great Space for the Price

It was easy to check in and easy to check out. There was more than enough space to accommodate all of the guests and our gear. It was great that each room had its own thermostat. Easy access to the grocery store, the village, and the slopes!

Nice Stay

The unit was fantastic in every way, the only issue being that the unit seems to need some electrical work done. My sister was shocked from one outlet so badly it still was felt for a couple days, and someone's hair dryer got fried. Other than those, it was cozy and well stocked, and i would stay again.

Awsome Family stay

We had a wonderful weekend there to appreciate the California fall. Staying in Mammoth Sierra Reservation add so much flavor to the trip. Kids love living there. We would come back next year.

Christmas 2014 at Chateau de Montagne #3

This was one of two Chateau de Montagne condos we rented for our family of 17 from Monday night to Christmas morning. My wife and I have four married children. Between them we have 7 grandchildren. Everyone was present for this vacation. Unit #3 was used primarily for sleeping since my wife and I were in unit #4, right next door. While not a new or luxury condo, it met our needs very nicely. Those who slept here were comfortable, had plenty of room, and enjoyed their time in the unit. It had everything we needed then some.

Great value and clean property

All the rooms are comfortable and kitchen is well equipped.It did take a few hours for the place to warm up. Also wish there are instructions on how to better operate the fireplace, which is the main vehicle for warming up the family room.

August Hiking Trip

I have been staying at Chateau de Montagne once or twice a year for almost 40 years. When I am part of a large group the 4brm,3 bath units are most desirable. This unit has been recently renovated and is very nice. The only downside is the throw rugs are a tripping hazard. I know that the owner wants to protect the new hardwood floors but these rugs are a hazard. The property description needs to be updated, the name given for the Wi-Fi network is wrong and one of the bedrooms has a queen and a single bed, not just a queen.

Relaxing and comfortable stay

Good. It was our first visit to Mammoth, so we did not know what to expect. We picked a great location where we could walk to the grocery store and several nice restaurants. The place itself was well equipped and provided a nice comfortable housing experience. One addition I recommend is more instructions for things like the heat and the TV. It took us a while to figure these things out, and some more explicit instructions would have made it a bit easier.
