- 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is necessary in the winter months to access the property. The unit is in the highest-elevation complex in Tennessee, which requires a narrow and steep winding road where some areas can be challenging
- Due to local wildlife, food and trash should not be left outdoors
- This 2-story condo is located on the 3rd floor and requires using an exterior staircase to enter. While it offers 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the 1st floor, an additional interior spiral staircase is required to access the bedroom/loft on the 2nd floor

Beautiful Condo! Very clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the manager was to work with! We left one of our devices there after checkout and she went above and beyond to get it shipped back to us. I can’t thank her enough. I highly recommend this condo and rental company. !

Perfect place to stay for a few days or longer. Plenty of room and location to Gatlinburg, Dollywood and Smoky Mountains is great. We had a fun few days on our family trip!!

Excellent Stay

Everything we needed for a quick trip to the Mountain, allowed us to not have to spend so much eating out for every meal and the kids really enjoyed the loft

Great stay

This condo is up in the Smokey Mountains. So turning roads to get there, but the views are worth it. We saw so many bears out and about.

Great place

We loved this condo! Decorated so cute, beds were comfortable, with a nice view. Drive is pretty tight and high but that’s expected in Gatlinburg!

Very cute place, would recommend

This is a cute and up-to-date condo/apartment. Very clean and quiet neighborhood. The only negative things we had were the bathroom sinks did not drain well, and not a lot of hot water. Otherwise, a great little place.

Very good overall. Decorated nicely and clean! The drive up the mountain can be a challenge, especially without having guardrails. Beds were comfortable, but the bed frames where squeaky and not very sturdy.

Goin up and down the mountain every was an experience

Very nice stay and place. Last day there we experienced seeing bear in the morning and afternoon. Cool experience to see wild bear. Didn’t bother anyone, just did their routine and went on their way.

Beautiful weekend

The property was beautiful, located in a small complex. The upgrades within the unit were beautifully designed. Be prepared to drive wayyyy up the mountain and climb stairs to the unit.

We loved the area, being almost up in the clouds was beautiful! The only reason I gave a 4 star rating was because the floors were very dirty, and the main bedroom ceiling fan didnt work! The condo itself was beautiful, and we loved seeing black bears on the grounds almost daily!

Bach Trip!!

Loved this condo! Definitely recommend this place!! Had some issues with the AC not wanting to work the whole weekend and the fridge not keeping items cool. Other than that we had an amazing time!!

Family vacation

Everything was great. We had 5 people in our group and the space was perfect. We even got to see a bear. The drive up from the bottom of the mountain is about 10 mins. If you get car sickness easily I suggest you take something daily because the road is very curvy! Only downfall for me.

Successful Family Vacation

Our family: my husband, myself, our adult daughter, and 2 teen sons enjoyed our stay at Over the Moon in Gatlinburg. The drive up the mountain (15 minutes) was more than we expected, but it was an amazing view, for those who want to see bears on your vacation it is definitely a bonus. We saw bears everyday of our weeklong stay. No negative interactions, we were smart and kept food out of our cars, locked up at night, and did not bother the bears - they did not bother us. We fit 5 people in the condo very comfortably; it was very clean and had most of the amenities we would need for a week. Our sons loved the loft bedroom, they had their own space but could still watch TV with the family. Our only complaint was that we did not feel the balcony was safe as it leaned. Otherwise, we definitely would stay again!

Lovely condo that needs a little TLC

We saw the photos online and were really excited to stay. Unfortunately on our arrival we could tell that the condo has not been properly maintained or cleaned.You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into the decor of the condo. Hopefully these problems will be sorted out and it can be enjoyed as intended.

Family getaway

The area is beautiful and amazing! The condo was a nice place to stay. Everything seemed clean, except the floors were filthy. We had to keep our shoes on otherwise our feet or socks became very dirty. It would have been nice to have a rug in the living room for our toddler grandson to play on. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom didn't work. We loved Gatlinburg and enjoyed restaurants and the Smoky Mountains!

Great Stay

We vacationed to Gatlinburg for my sisters’ 18th birthday. The property was clean and very nice. It is in close range, say 15 minutes give or take, to the Wax Museum/Ober Mountain/Wonderworks and many more attractions. It was plenty of room for my mom, my two sisters and myself. We did not have to use the upstairs twin beds. We were on the third floor, which was great because we got to see a family of bears who were intrigued by the smell of my youngest sisters’ Doritos lol and attempted a climb but eventually decided to go on their way. The view from the patio was amazing! The host has some very cool games and the kitchen was well equipped with kitchen utensils and equipment. This property definitely made our trip even more memorable!

Awesome view!

The condo is super cute! Plenty of room for our family of 5! It was exiting to see a new dining table vs the table in the pictures! The balcony offered awesome views of the mountain! We visited Ober mountain (just south of our condo which can be seen from balcony), the Sky Bridge, arcades on the strip, Dollywood, and various restaurants in town. We saw 6 bears total (no sightings near the condo) and a few turkeys in the area. I would recommend getting groceries to keep in the condo if you are staying for a few days or up to a week. I would also recommend bringing a few items such as paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags as what is given to you does not last long. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

It was uncomfortable for my family to sit together in the living room. One couch that sloped to the middle and dining chairs/bar stools that were uncomfortable and heavy, Not enough furniture to gather. Bed frames were broken upstairs and guest room. Difficult working tv’s no instructions. Did have to get batteries. Cute place and great view.

Smelly and slightly dirty

My family of six stayed here for five nights in June. The location is pretty. The view was amazing. The condo was just okay. For starters, it smelled like whatever the previous renters cooked for dinner. The bedrooms were small, but the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were tiny, but we made it work. My biggest complaint is the feeling that the place was dirty. We found dust bunnies all over the house. It didn’t feel clean. I wore shower shoes the whole time I was there. The sheets were clean and white, but the floors and mirrors were dirty.
